Shoddy customer service. Wanted to buy a drone . Just needed some simple warranty questions answered. After 6 hrs of waiting, the sales girl didnt have the decency, or the respect to reply . Now it got sold on me . Why would I spend 3 grand at blue skies drones, if they cant even be reliable enough to get back to me . What a joke . Be careful dont ask any questions, you will be ignored . Flake sales people .

I have been there twice now. The first time I was there, I was polite courteous and waited until someone would help me. I waited 14 and 1/2 minutes. This was before the pandemic. However while standing and waiting patiently not one single person said Hi be right with you or we are busy can we make an appointment. no contact at all. Finally when I did get contact with a person. every question I had was refereed to the back to someone there. I never have a problem with a new person. we all started somewhere. However, it was obvious whoever was helping that day was not engaged, not wanting to be there, and certainly had to re ask me on most questions. The second time in I thought I was more prepared so as to make it easier for whoever would help. Not the case. same thing. stood around for a bit with not one person saying anything. It would be a lot better and more helpful if someone just acknowledged someone is there and set a time if needed. Drove from Bellevue both occasions. Maybe they are just better than most and have something most dont and feel set. So they can pick and choose who they help. I have a drone in need of repair and dont know where to go now. I hope things get better for them. Very hard to have a small business in todays world. Hope things get worked out.

Ive rented regularly from Blue Skies Drone Rental for about 2 years now. Fantastic customer support- its great to rent from a company that really understands drones and can make good recommendations on the equipment they have, not just rent out blindly. Anytime there was a hiccup in an order or a drone they have done the right thing and quickly fixed issues. Im giving them 5 stars not only for running things well, but for doing the right thing on the rare occasions where I have had technical issues with my rental. I put a LOT of stock in a business that does the right thing when circumstances dont go smoothly, and Blue Skies has kept my business for that reason. A++

Recently rented a drone from Blue Skies to use for a video project at our church. I received the drone in two days (Im in Indiana) and everything worked well. Had a couple questions and the customer service agents replied by email very quickly. Id use them again
I rented 2 drones in Early March. For a single day. Total cost was about $150. Based on that experience alone, I would have rated 5 stars.But there was about a $1,200 charge put on my credit card for a deposit. Fine, ok, whatever.... But I finally got a refund on the deposit in late April.... 8 weeks later. That is completely unacceptable. I would rate 1 star based on that.Take an average to get my 3 star rating.Update: A representative contacted me and offered to pay any credit card fees. Luckily there were none but I appreciate the gesture. Did not ask me to, but I will be upgrading to 4 star due to overall good experience.
This is a great place to get your drone fixed. Kinda pricey, but I got my drone back quicker than they said and it works great.The guy Jared (who fixes the drone) was so patient and really worked with me when I had questions about drone flight. I would definitely tell anyone to go to this place if they need their drone fixed.
Horrible customer service. Need something? look on the internet. Better and less expensive places out there and you dont have to look hard.
Talked to someone a month prior to make sure a drone would be available. Now the model that is STILL listed for rent on their website is no longer available to rent, and the model that is $100 per day more expensive to rent isnt available for another month and a half. Seems like poor management.Seeing the response below doesnt take into account I talked to a Blueskys representative last night saying a drone would be available in 2 weeks, but I never received a quote or email informing me that things had changed.
Walked in, talked to a real nice guy, looked at my drone, fixed it in 5 minutes, no charge....!Give these guys your business, cool guys.

ABOVE AND BEYOND CUSTOMER SERVICE!!On a Friday I realized I needed a really specific cable by the next Tuesday. It was out of stock everywhere (DJI, B&H, Adorama, Amazon) but Blue Skies had it! I called and spoke with Rachel, submitted the online order, and she had it shipped out via FedEx the same day.She even gave me her personal number in case there were shipping issues.Good thing, because FedEx was missing my Unit #...so I called Rachel again (on the weekend mind you!) and she resolved the FedEx debacle personally.I haven’t been to the brick and mortar store, but I can’t recommend Blue Skies enough if you’re in a pinch!
Customer satisfaction seems to be the goal here. Purchased a Parrot Sequoia from them and had some issues with it. Thanks to Todd Knighton they worked with me until it was fully resolved.

I recently tried to purchase a DJI Smart Controller through the online store. The purchase was made successfully with no issues, I was charged and received an email saying my order was processing.After a few hours, I received an email from a customer service representative informing me they would not release my order until I uploaded a picture to a third-party website of my drivers license and an additional credit card (the item was already paid for and the money was withdrawn from my account already at this point), the reason was because “they have had issues with fraud in the past.”This is a very odd and suspicious business practice, and I would recommend everyone to avoid purchasing from the online store before they remedy this issue. At no point was I told this additional information would be required during the purchasing of this item, and I did not see any information relating to this on their website, if I had known beforehand this was the way they conduct business (especially because of the high risk of personal information being hacked), I would have avoided this place at all costs.Even after all the lack of professionalism this company has displayed during this current situation, the main reason I’m giving them a 1-star review is because of the lack of communication they have with their customers. I currently still have no item, no replies to my multiple emails, but yet the money was still withdrawn from my account. All I have received was a computer-generated message telling me my order was cancelled a few hours ago. At least have the decency to follow up with your customers and respond to them, it’s called customer service!

Blue Skies has provided top notch training for myself and for our staff. I took the Part 107 prep class and and scored in the 90s on my exam. Several of the staff recently attended the Lidar Mapping training. It was very informative and applicable to our planning staff as well as to the remote pilot (me). Service has been exceptional. Often going beyond the call of duty. Todd Knighton has been exceptionally helpful in providing information, assist in research, purchasing, and renting of equipment. If you are looking for dji this is the spot. didnt see much in the way of any other brand. The customer service didnt seem like they enjoyed the job. If youre a beginner hobby tinker this is not the spot for you.
