The best laundry shop in town! I am so impressed by how outstanding their services were! I did not regret trying this laundry shop for the first time! I will surely recommend this place to my relatives!

This is a good branch, drop off and pick up were both easy and smooth, Junior working there is particularly great, I had 2 hefty coats and he helped me with them into the car. Coats came back fast, clean and well packed.

Found this place through a google search and they have been amazing. Took 2 of my fiancé’s suits there and they were done the next day. At first I was a little nervous because they don’t give you a ticket or anything like some places do, but we haven’t had an issue so far. Very reasonably priced too. We’re very happy with their service and will continue using them.

Have been going to Dependable Cleaners located 316 Newbury Street for more than 9 years. At one point in 2017 there a was a rough moment but that has been resolved!!! Dependable has done an OUTSTANDING job with my clothes!! Shirts, pants or repairs they have given me EXCELLENT service!! Cannot say their work will be everyones choice but for my own experience I have no complaint! Nick is AWESOME as well as everyone else who has assisted me!!! Happy Holidays!

Started using Dependable over 7 years ago when I moved to Boston. It turns out they’re not so Deoendable. Orders routinely not returned on time. At one point, they lost over $3K worth of my clothing and had zero accountability. Would not recommend.

They are so attentive to their customers during this time of pandemic. And the quality is superb.

Nice people, but:1. Post your prices, or have them be reasonable. Don’t charge me $24 for a garment.2. Don’t use my phone number to create a “required account” and then use my info to put me on your mailing list (hence why I was asked to leave a review)

The staff and service are consistently dependable! Any question answered or researched in order to help. Great at helping solve problems and they treat you like you are part of the neighborhood. I have never been disappointed.

Best dry cleaners, always get the work done even on most tuff stains. I bring my winter coat here every year and each time it returned to me like a brand new.

Codes clothes with tiny labels so nothing ever gets lost. Emails when clothes are ready. Tons of coupons. Great price. Has awesome software so the stores run super efficiently. Only wish you could deliver!

The service we got today was horrendous. We drove into the city to drop off my wife’s wedding dress to be cleaned. We gave them the dress, filled out an order and were told we would receive an email notification when the dress was done. A half hour later, when we were almost home, Leo (the individual we were working with) called us and told us he needed a card on file, my wife gave him her card information. After this he said he needed a signature. My wife had asked if she could give sign the form when we picked up the dress. Leo informed us he needed the signature that day. At this time my wife expressed frustration with the need to come back in and sign. We then turned around and drove the half hour back to the city, where we had to pay for parking once again. When we stepped back into the store we did not receive an apology from Leo for asking us to come back. When he handed us the form to sign it turned out to be a receipt. He had charged us without telling us how much the service would be or that he would be charging the “card on file”. During this whole conversation Leo was nothing but rude and unhelpful. We asked for the dress back and a refund for our purchase. Leo handed the dress back without a word of apology. He then stated that he needed the manager to authorize the refund and that she would be available tomorrow. At no point did Leo offer any form of apology, explanation, or attempt to make our experience better after we stated that we were unhappy.Everything we encountered today at Dependable Cleaners was unprofessional.

My experience at the Dependable Cleaners on Newbury Street was great as always! The team there is courteous, efficient and works incredibly hard. They also understand that many of their customers are often in a hurry and manage to accommodate them but never act rushed and always remember to have a great day when we leave. Its the reason I have been so loyal for 20 plus years!

Expensive, also more than a little disappointing that in a 9lb bag of wash and fold, they managed to lose a sock. Not the first impression you think theyd want to give.

Every time I go there, I am greeted by a friendly person and given excellent service. I appreciated that a stain was removed from my clothing even though I never mentioned it to anyone. That shows attention to detail and a high level of commitment to ones work. Thank you!

This place lives up to its name. Ive dropping my laundry there every work for the past couple months and my clothes are always ready the next day. Havent had any issues and everything is always super clean.

My experience with Dependable Cleaners at 316 Newbury Street has always been professional, courteous and warm. I am always greeted warmly and the staff really do go out of the way in giving me their undivided attention. Enjoy the staff very much so always make a point to remember them during the holiday season with a bag of assorted truffles from Lindt Chocolatier.

I took a tie to be dry cleaned and it came back damaged. I was a little upset but no big deal - its not the end of the world. I was told they would have it repaired and that I would be contacted the next day. A week went by without any word so I called for an update. After the woman who answered the phone said she spoke with the manager, I was again told I would be contacted the next day.Another week went by so I called again. This time I was connected with the manager, Henry who outright lied to me. He repeatedly insisted that he spoke with me over the phone, despite the fact that I obviously did not. It was a little weird because he would not let it go.Another week went by until it was finally ready for pick up. When I picked it up I spoke directly with Henry who still insisted that “I’m a liar.” It was all very strange.After 3 weeks to their credit they did repair the tie at no cost to me. However the customer service could have been much, much better. Also it is very pricey (must cost a lot to rent that Newbury location). I will not be returning to this place.

Dependable Cleaners did a great job cleaning my wedding gown, as well as my husbands tux. Additionally, they have recently done a great job with some minor tailoring, in addition to consistently cleaning my clothes well.

The staff are very polite and they always make sure you are happy with your clothes before you walk out the door.

Ive been using Dependable Cleaners at 316 Newbury St for over 10 years now. They have been fantastic! I mean it. During the past decade I moved from living right above Dependable Cleaners to a new home downtown (2 miles away + city traffic). I still make the trek out. Why? I tried Sarni Cleaners and a few other closer alternatives along the way and none compares.Dependable Cleaners get my double-cuffed shirts just right (french-cuffs), immaculate pressings, collars are done to perfection, and just the right amount of starch on shirts that require / suitable for it. Pants come back perfect, and no issues with sweaters nor suits.In contrast, cleaners like Sarnis do not fold the double-cuffs as instructed and when they do, they do a sloppy job with creases on the cuffs, similarly with collars - returned with creases, spots, and other marks.The folks (like Henry) at 316 Newburys Dependable Cleaners are very polite, respectful, and HELPFUL. I cannot recommend their service enough. I hope other dry cleaners take note, this is the standard to follow.

Using the VIP service makes dropping off and picking up dry cleaning a breeze. The staff are always pleasant and courteous.
