I called Boston Car Keys which was recommended to me through a friend & it was the best decision I made. My morning started off on the wrong foot when I misplaced my car key. I’ve never been in this position and I was worried it couldn’t be resolved because all cars these days are all push to start. I called up the business and I was able to get an appointment within the next hour which was great! (I also called the second they opened)! The gentleman who helped me was named Rich, he came before the ETA he initially gave me, which was awesome. Rich was able to get me back into my car and ALSO get me a new key programmed into my car all within AN HOUR. The overall experience was sharp, fast and informative. Rich was helpful, professional and showed me some things I didn’t even know about my own car. Defiantly will call this business back for future references and I will definitely be referring Boston Car Keys to all my friends and family. Great work!

Went to get keys 2 keys cut and programmed @ Blue hill location-200 Blue Hill Avenue, Boston, MA 02119— was told $35 to cut keys $30 to program the key FOB by employees at their other location in East Boston- 512 Saratoga St, Boston, MA 02128 -The Guy at the blue hill ave location tried charging $65 per key to program and $30 per key to cut. I told him he was overcharging customer and asked to speak to a manager or owner, he stated there is no owner or manager. I had to drive to East Boston location to get the keys programmed at the right price$30 per key. A Bad employee will give your business a bad name and reputation as long as he is there I do not recommend anyone to that location. The employee name is Elias..stay away from that Employee. Scammer

Patronized this business today needed to buy a key and have it programmed, and needed an additional key to my 2009 Camry. I was unpleasantly surprised by the price of $150 when I was quoted last week $45 for reprogramming an existing key only. Does a duplicate key cost $105 ? Other then that they were very respectful and helpful, service was great. One more thing, they did not provide receipt once the were paid. I would use them again if needed.

Had a couple new car keys and a few new house keys made, the car keys (most important and needed) came out perfect. One of the house keys doesnt work but that was only $2.00 so it wasnt a huge deal. I had my car keys duplicated however the key itself busted in half a year later. I called and was told they only guarantee there keys for up to six months. Of course that information was not told to me at the time.... If youre looking to get your car keys duplicated quickly than they work but dont expect it to last.

The tumblers in my ignition broke, didnt even know that was a thing that could happen. It was taken cared of very easily by Boston car keys without me having to pay $1000s at the dealer for a new key

Called on a Friday evening. Within 30 minutes the locksmith was at my place. Service was fast, and locksmith Oscar was pleasant and polite. It took no more than 30 minutes to get a replacement key with fob. I didnt give a 5 star rating just for the simple fact, that looking at the fob, it doesnt look brand new. For the price, I would expect a new fob. But aside from that, service was quick and great. I recommend this place.

Went here to get my key programmed and began explaining my issue to the installer. He was extremely unprofessional and rude towards us. He didn’t even allow us to explain our issue and just cut me off talking then walked off telling us to go somewhere else. It was a perfect example on how NOT to treat a customer.

Best price forsure,I had no key and no spare.. i bought an uncut key from amazon compatible with my car and had Boston Car Keys come to my car and cut and program. I called all other locksmiths in area and they all quoted me prices that were at least 30% more. One issue was they told me 2-3 pm but didnt show till 5 saying they were a half hour away each time i called but they where most likely busy. When they did arrive service was quick and friendly if you lose your key and can wait buy uncut key online first you save $$

I needed a dimple key cut and searched the web and found this place. Their site says they cut dimple keys so I took a drive there. When I got there the guy was pretty chill he went to the back and after a couple of minutes later comes back and says they dont cut dimple keys. He did try to refer me to another locksmith but they did not cut that key also.
