I had the same experience with the tipping issue. It was not communicated ahead of time and a surprise when the captain (Chuck) asked for it at the end. I called two years ago and gave feedback directly to Boston Sportfishing. Now I see this is still happening, I am writing a review. Other charters put this in their communications. Chuck is rough around the edges but helpful and overall we had fun and caught a lot of fish.

Horrible experience Caught FISH but the captain was arrogant and NOT ANICE GUY!! HE demanded a tip at the end of our trip. I did not have cash and it waS RATHER EMBARRISING.I WOULD NOT RECOMEND THEM or go there again!!!!D

Youll have a great day on the water if you book through Boston Sportfishing. Captain Chuck took six of us out for the full day today to fish for Stripers. We caught big fish and plenty of them. With 42 years of experience, Chuck really knows what hes doing, and we look forward to booking again soon.

Cptn. Chuck was great, especially with my little nephew. We were hauling in big striper wihin the first hour and he also prepared the fish for us to take home. We have 10+ lbs of meat for fish tacos!
