They deliver on their services. Website up to date, prices competitive, departs online, friendly service, boat has toilets and concessions. Would be 5 stars if they just had eTickets (have to show email to desk to print a ticket, which you have to hold for your return - Com’on guys! 2021?!). But overall very good.

Very fast, a little spendy but all around very easy the one way I was able to take it. FYI there is a shuttle bus from Ptown if they cancel due to weather. Youll still be super late but its better than the other options!

We purchased two tickets ferry from Boston to Provincetown for August 22, 2021. Due to the impending hurricane we were informed that the ferry was canceled. I called to get a refund as the service I had paid for was not longer being offered (understandably so) and was informed that they would not issue refunds. Essentially, they want me to pay for a service that I never received.

So im reviewing the Boston to Provincetown Ferry. You have two options and i always choose Baystate. The other company has these huge uninviting ferrys. Bay state has a smaller Fleet. You can sit inside or outside. The staff is very nice the amazing woman whos worked for this company for many years selling tickets at the Chamber of Commerce in Ptown. Nice as pie and its great to see a familiar face everyyear. Another long term employee Carrie Turner is wonderful! The only downfall is the price but both companys are comperable and its not ike youre going there everyweek. Trust me its worth the extra money you spend. I took the bus for 1/3 the price yesterday but being it was Labor Day weekend i was on a bus for 4! Hours check out BayState!

I would not recommend this company. They canceled the ferry trip without notifying me and refused to issue a refund. $200 lost on my first trip to Boston.

Best way to get to the Cape. The staff are great and one thing you can count on by taking BSC is consistency. You leave Boston on time and get to P-Town 90 minutes later. I never drive from Boston to the Cape anymore during the summers because this is such a better way to go. Only drawback is the boats can be sold out quickly. Plan on buying your ticket at least a week in advance during the summer.

This cruise company allowed hundreds of passengers to roam the upper decks and stand shoulder to shoulder without any masks or social distancing, single-handedly setting Boston back months in our reopening. When your kids cant go back to school in the fall, thank Bay State Cruise Company.

This one is hard to believe... I was traveling back from Logan to my condo at Battery Wharf. Another family got on after me and the captain asked if I minded if he dropped them off at Rose Wharf first. No problem, I said. I’m in no hurry. After the other guest disembarked, I waited 20 minutes for the captain to return. I finally went and found him in the office and he said “Sorry, but I can’t take to your destination. I have another client I need to pick up.” I was dumbfounded. “I already paid you to take me from Logan to Battery. What am I supposed to do know?”“Sorry, I can’t help you”I had to walk, with my luggage, the remainder of the way to my apartment. The business did send me a gift card for a free water taxi ride.... which I never used.

Messed up and made my reservation for the wrong date. Called the next morning expecting a half-hour of automated operators telling me my purchase is non-refundable and thanking me for giving them my full telephone number, street address, credit card number, social security number, and shoe size (for MY security!)Instead, a pleasant man answered after two rings, said hed be happy to change the date, found my reservation quickly, and thanked me for my business.A breath of fresh air!

They have a huge group of security people on their team They keep things very orderly while boarding the boat as well as when the trip is overIll answer some questions people may have but dont ask on this sight LOLI dont really drink BUT most people DO and its expensive for some people on budgetsYou are not going to be able to smuggle much alcohol on the boat IF thats something you even want to do to save money on a booze cruiseThey lightly pat you down before boarding so a couple nips each perhaps but not a very big bottlePeople DO smoke pot on the booze cruise You cant get caught with a pipe in your pocket before boarding so roll a bunch of blunts or jointsPeople smoked during the trip and some of the staff smelled it and asked the people to move further away from the captains office so it didnt blow right inBUT they were nice about itIf you have never been on their booze cruiseIT IS PACKED LIKE SARDINES OUT ON THE DECK! You can go downstairs to get space if you get to crampedA women got very sick on the boat from drinking along with motion sensitivity The staff was kind and helped her untill we docked

Great way to get to PTown and the fastest. However if they say extremely rough seasthey MEAN it. I thought Id be ok but I got thrown around like a deadliest catch boat. The ride back was smooth and the staff is very nice. They were very accommodating in the rough weather when people were seasick. They had puke bags and were giving free ginger pops

When hurricane Hermione forced the cancellation of boats between Boston and Provincetown the company immediately informed us of the cancellation and that they arranged for a deluxe motorcoach to take us instead. No worries, no sweat. They were first rate at handling customer service even before being asked what alternative was available. Hats off to them.

We took the ferry from Ptown to Boston on 7/7/2018. The ferry was supposed to leave at 12:30 and arrive at 3:30 pm. Instead, the ferry left at 12:45 and arrived in Boston at 4:00. This delay caused us to miss our train to NYC. We had to pay an extra $76 to catch the next one. There was no explanation provided or an offer for a refund and to pay the extra cost caused by this delay.

Took the ferry from Boston to Provincetown and it was wonderful. The interior is very comfortable with a nice bar that serves food, snacks and drinks. There are 4 different decks outside with seats and tables. It docks right in the heart of P-town. A one block walk and your in the middle of the shops and restaurants on Commercial Street. We loved the ferry and P-town and can’t wait to do it again.
