I cannot say enough amazing things about Groove Authority! Planning a wedding in a pandemic was stressful but Paul & Team were fantastic each and every step of the way. Paul was extremely organized, communicative, and thoughtful. Their emcee was nothing short of fantastic. The introductions through the encore was perfect every step of they way. Plus they got the crowd going and everyone was on the dance floor all night! They even let me and my brother perform karaoke with the band!! I cannot say enough amazing things about this group. They certainly gained a lot of future customers at our wedding so I cant wait to see them again as a guest!

Groove Authority is amazing. Groove Authority played at our 60 person wedding in July 2021 and was simply amazing! Nobody left the dance floor, and afterwards our guests kept complementing us on our band selection. I cant recommend the Groove Authority enough! For the past few weeks after our wedding, people continue to reach out and say it was the best and most fun wedding they have been to because WOW THAT BAND! Words cannot describe how amazing Grove Authority is! We had them recently play at our wedding at Waterville Valley, NH. They kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night! Not one person was sitting. Given the current state of the world I was concerned that people would not dance but our fears were wrong! Everyone commented at how talented the singers were and especially gave praise to the brass guys! We didnt make any pre requests we let the band read the crowd and their song selection was incredible! The venue even commented that they were the best band they have seen. During our booking process we were able to see the band live and went out on a limb and booked. Well let me tell you it was the best decision we made throughout our wedding planning process! Paul the band manager is a class act! Hes honest, up front, professional and a joy to work with! I have absolutely no hesitation in telling everyone to book Groove Authority!

Groove Authority was, hands down, the best addition to our November 2nd wedding. Paul, and the rest of the talented band, was accommodating and professional with us and our wedding coordinator. At the reception, people were out on the dance floor all night- even at dinner, which I had not experienced before at a wedding and made it a fun environment right off the bat! Wow! What a performance by Groove Authority at my wedding this past October. They had everyone dancing the whole night- even during dinner! They play a great variety of music and bring a contagious energy to the room. They are also very responsive and organized. I strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a band to play at their wedding or other event. If we could give Groove Authority 10 out of 5 stars, we would. Groove Authority was by far the best use of our money that was spent on our wedding!! From start to finish, the booking process and communication was outstanding with Paul. Very professional, quick to reply, and was willing to work with us with requested songs and additional items. Used the pianist for ceremony and cocktail, which set the mood and was beautiful. The 8-piece band came on afterward. They have unbelievable talent and their positive energy is contagious! They interacted with everyone on the dance floor, jammed out non-stop with minimal breaks, and gave one of the best live performances, including a mix of genres & artists. Choose Groove Authority for your wedding, or next event, -you will 110% be so grateful that you did!! Friends & Family cant stop saying how AMAZING the band was and how everyones calves and quads hurt the next day from all the dancing! Absolutely amazing band!! These guys brought our wedding reception to a whole other level of fantastically fun :) We looked around at a fair few bands and I am sooo beyond glad we went with Groove Authority. Paul was super lovey to work with in the lead up with the band learning some new songs for us, including one for our first dance, and also editing their usual wedding playlist to only play songs we liked (from their seriously extensive catalogue) at the reception. The singers were absolutely incredible and as a band they are honestly on par with most any band I’ve ever seen live. They reduced the number in their band to fit within our budget (they have very reasonable pricing for their crazy high quality level btw) and also happily agreed to travel to Branford, CT in the middle of February. We received sooo many compliments from people at the wedding saying things like “Why did I only have a DJ at my wedding, this is so much more fun!” and everyone at our wedding was dancing the whole night through (which is no small feat given the very wide age arrange!). I have been to many weddings and always thought I’d go with a DJ like most people I know (particularly from a cost perspective) but this band was easily one of the best parts of our wedding - I’m so glad my husband convinced me! If you’re torn seriously just go for it and hire Groove Authority - they will make your wedding a night to remember not only for you but for all who attend :) Such an absolute blast and could not recommend them more!!

Groove Authority was absolutely incredible from start to finish. Paul was so easy to communicate with - and quick to respond to calls and emails. He communicated with our venue to make sure the evening went smoothly (which we greatly appreciated!) We went with their 3 piece jazz band for cocktail hour and the full band for the reception, and they were just perfect. They learned a couple new songs for us for our First Dance and Father Daughter Dance - and they absolutely killed it! The dance floor was packed the entire night! We had an amazing time and our guests cant stop talking about how great the band was. This was definitely the best decision we made for our wedding - we absolutely recommend them! This band is not just a wedding band but a talented, versatile group of accomplished music professionals that were by far the highlight of my daughters wedding reception. Groove Authority provided jazz standards (4 piece ensemble) for outdoor cocktails, and seamlessly moved to the reception hall with dinner background and dancing. Several guests commented on the level of talent of both the instrumentals and vocals.I noticed more than once dinner guests stopping conversation just to listen to this great band. Did I mention that they also handled the outdoor PA system for the ceremony? They can do it all - Amazing!

Groove Authority made my wedding unforgettable! Their music and talent was amazing! Everyone had so much fun and they truly kept the party alive - I wish it didn’t have to end!
