Got my car inspection done there. They were fast and courteous. I would recommend them.

Took my vehicle there at 8 a.m. (we live an hour away) to get a minor fix for a window. They told my husband we were 5th in line waiting and we asked them if they were going to be able to get to our car done before the day was over. Throughout the day they assured us multiple times that it would be finished before they closed at 5. We stayed in town all day waiting. Went back to check and they waited 20 minutes before closing to tell us that they weren’t going to be able to do anything for the rest of the day. Charged us $50 to even take OUR keys back. Wasted a full day for nothing!

They would not insure their work put in a faulty radiator and then argued about mileage on the car. The mechanic never checked the car and had listed 15,000 miles more than the car had. When i brought it to his attention he became argumentative about the work he did. Overall horrible experience now Im out thw repair fee and a car. Worst part car was running before they got hold of it and now the car wont start. Save all your paperwork when using this business and if you can find anyone else go to them Monroes should be an absolute last resort or you shouldnt use them at all.

I wasnt able to locate a shop locally that would be able to assist in the same day. They worked me in and were able to accomodate me quickly. They were very professional and the price was very affordable. If I were to suggest an auto repair shop this is definitely the place I would choose.

Not too pleased right now and I hope they make it right. My MINOR daughter took my Jeep up there (registered one my name but she drives it).. bc of an incident. They diagnosed and have charged, saying Jeep can’t be picked up until that’s paid..... but not one person thought to call the OWNER of the vehicle, look at registration etc, could have be stolen? Borrowed? But not properly authorized to lift the hood. Oh and quoted over $3000 to my daughter for repairs, including things we were already aware of that my daughter didn’t say she needed addressed. Not to mention the extremely unpleasant and condescending woman that got very irritated during our conversation and actually laughed at my concerns.

We have had 2 separate vehicles repaired at Monroes Garage and cant say enough about how great their work is. First they repaired the a/c in one of my vehicles and just repaired an evap leak in another car. They only fix what is needed and do it quickly at a reasonable price. I havent found a better shop in the area yet.

I came into town early one morning broken down. I called Monroes and told them my situation and they told me to come in. Got there and they had fresh coffee and a very nice waiting area. Time went on and I started talking to Dale and I mentioned that I had been driving all yesterday and never got a chance to eat dinner or get breakfast. She later comes back with snacks and gives it to me. Later on her son (the owner) comes and asks if he can take me to lunch because he heard I havent eaten. Now I have been to many shops around the south and never have I met anyone like them. They are by far the nicest people I have ever met. They stayed after hours to work on my car. On top of that they easily could have ripped me off but they didnt, they had very fair price and honestly I was surprised it was that cheap. The work they did was amazing finding the problem and then some. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars, I would recommend them to anyone.

Dirty battery cable = $500 bill! This con man tried to take advantage of my 21yr old daughter who is stationed in the area! All active military especially women stay away!!! To make a long story short, she had a dirty battery cable. They fixed it then they tried to say she needed a fuel system tune up totaling $500! When I found this out I gave them a call and spoke to the rudest female Ive ever encountered! ( This alone could ruin a business and Im sure everyone in the shop know who Im referring to)! After she told me there was nothing they could do since the work was already in progress, my daughter got a call shortly after by the owner with an apology saying the work hadnt been done and charged her $60 for diagnosing a loose/ dirty battery cable! I can imagine how many people have been scammed by this shop!

We arrived on station at Barksdale in 2016 and a friend referred me to Monroes. Rarely in our 25 years of traveling with the Air Force have we struck gold with auto care and usually default to expensive dealer care, this is one of those times where we truly found a great partner...and we plan to stay with Monroe for all 4 of our cars. Really impressed with the service we received at Monroes garage.After breaking down during a road trip on a Sunday morning, we had our vehicle towed to another shop that was open in the hopes we would be back on the road quickly. Not only could they not fix our vehicle Sunday, the technician who looked at it the following morning couldnt fix it at all. So we got on the phone and called around to other repair shops looking for another place to have the truck towed to.. One place tried to sell us a very expensive replacement part, another could *maybe* get it back to us the following day. Monroes was courteous, professional, but most of all, they seemed to know what they were doing.While the truck was being unloaded, my husband talked to the tech, Thomas. Knowing we were not only stranded 1000 miles from home, but also facing the threat of Hurricane Hermine on the trip home, Thomas went above and beyond to get our truck fixed and back on the road before they closed for the evening. He even called the next day to follow up and make sure we didnt have any further problems.Great service, a knowledgeable staff, and fair prices. You cant go wrong with Monroes.

They always do a great job fixing our cars. You should probably expect to leave your vehivle there overnight because they are incredibly busy. If they make a mistake, they will fix it or pay to have it fixed. So they are a very responsible and ethical business.

So thankful to find such a good Christian family to work on our truck. We were traveling from south Florida to Dallas and found Monroes on the internet after having gone to the local Dodge dealership and were told that the truck wouldnt even be looked at for three days. The kind people at Monroes took our truck in immediately. We disagree with the comments made about their charges and not being kind to all races or gender. This garage is the greatest! They did extensive engine and transmission work for me for a reasonable price and in a reasonable amount of time. I cant thank these guys enough for the hard work they did for me, As a female I have had car trouble and been ripped off many times in the past but not with these guys. SO glad I chose this place! The whole shop was amazing all the way around. I dropped my car off in the morning and told them the issue. A little later they called and confirmed the problem and gave me an estimate which was right on. Not to mention they found what was causing my starters to go out so quickly in the first place and fixed them both and had me up and running in no time. It feels good to have mechanic experience work out so well. Thank you to these guys, I cant recommend them highly enough.

So I started using Monroe’s Garage about 3 years ago, I had previously used other places in the SBC and I always felt like I was being pressured into repairs that were not necessary until I found MONROE’S GARAGE...I have had ALL 4 of my vehicles repaired and serviced at MONROE’S GARAGE and we are not talking simple stuff, I am talking about major repairs like rear end in F150 4x4, 2 complete AC repairs, new wiring, oil changes, etc.. So as you can tell, everything from maintenance to major repair. Never once did I feel like they did not know what they were doing and they have always been priced at or below competitors. I can’t say enough about Monroes Garage, the service is amazing, everyone there is very friendly and very knowledgeable, from the front office (Kim) to the mechanics from Garrett to Linc. I will definitely be using them for ALL my mechanical needs from here on out. You just can’t get this kind of service for your vehicle AND exceptional customer service anywhere else. I don’t honestly know how anyone could ever say anything bad about Monroe’s Garage, I wish they would expand so more people country wide could experience what true customer service is.

Hands down the best Garage in the area. Went in there for transmission problem and thought I would be out at least 1,000 on repairs. The mechanics were HONEST which is a rarity now days, they fixed my car and only charged $50! Will Definitely recommend this shop to everyone

We worked with Thomas to figure out what was going on with our AC. He was very honest, professional and understood that we were on a time crunch as I was moving back to Florida and couldnt drive with 1 working window and no ac in the car with my toddler. He kept us in the loop on what he was doing and got our car back to us in a timely manner. When we move back here and if we ever need to take our car in again this is the place we would go. Never take your car here. Had a caliper replaced because my brakes were locking up. Didnt solve the problem, took it to another shop and they pointed out that Monroes didnt even put the caliper on correctly. Monroes also quoted me over 3 times what everywhere else did. The staff was very rude, and give out wrong information. You ask one person something, and get a completely different answer from the next. They have no idea what they are doing at this shop, but try to charge you an arm and a leg. Avoid Monroes at all cost. Quoted me $1,400 for repairs that only cost $450. Would give them 0 stars if it was possible.

Monroes fixed my A.C. last year about this time. Brought it back because it was leaking freon. Before I got a call for a diagnosis, they said it was ready. Warrantied the work the did last year and throw me the keys. Faith in Mechanics restored.

This shop is the best mechanics shop Ive come across in 40 years of living here. They dont rob you and are honest and fast! Got my quote over the phone and the parts price was 100 dollars cheaper than anything I found online. The job was just for the front brakes and the total was 350. Although I paid 500 because there was some damage to the wheel hub which I knew it was something due to the awful grinding noise. Great place look no further Im telling everybody about it.

OMG I called for a quote on replacing my compressor in my car and instead of a call back from a person I received a txt for a quote over $1,000 plus $110 to check the compressor talk about a rip off, a new compressor cost under $200 so they would be pocketing $910 for so called labor.

After myself and another shop had failed to remove my alternator due to siezed bolts I brought my car to Monroes garage after reading their google reviews. I cannot speak highly enough about their professionalism and dedication to repairing my vehicle. Not only did nearly every bolt end up breaking off, but they replaced everything with OEM parts from a local dealership and even modified the mounting brackets in-house to fit my new large case alternator. During the entire process I was informed about everything going on with my vehicle and was never left wondering what was going on. When I picked up my car the bill was less than half of what I expected, and I got to speak with the mechanic that did all of the work and thank him personally. The level of dedication to their customers and professionalism is second to none.

I brought my vehicle to this mechanic shop, not knowing too much about cars. By the time it was time to get my car back there were two new repairs that had to happen and discrepancies with the invoices. Now two month laters the same repair that I got fixed needs repairing. So please think twice before going here, not good people. I would give them a negative star if I could.

Will neglect to tell you what their diagnostic fee, will mess up your vehicle and refuse to take responsibility for the damage. Take your vehicle and hard earned money to someone who isn’t out to scam you.

My daughters 2009 Volvo needed repair and they ran a diagnostic test on it, found out what the problem was and fixed it fast and at a very good price. Their office is friendly and helpful. We will always use these guys for our foreign car repair!!

One word decribes this business. Excellent. They changed my front, right wheel bearing, changed my oil, and changed my brake pads for 683.00 (Wray Ford wanted 710.00 to change a single wheel bearing). Monroes Garage is fast too, I mean super fast. They did all this work in 3 hours. I had a good conversation with a man that worked there as well about my Polaris RZR 900. He helped me fix it by telling me things to check. Awesome experience in times when everyone just wants to take your money and kick you out the door.

Forgot to bolt engine to motor mounts after a water pump replacement that cost 2000 dollars. The people we dealt with was rude and unprofessional. We had to end up selling the car because it ran hot even after the water pump replacement. I dont recommend going here I rather push my car down the road than to stop by here again.

Legit 5 Star!!!After refusing to be robbed by Moffitt Audi for 5400$ (3000$ in parts) for an entire front end suspension replacement. After researching my issue on AudiWorld Forum, I knew it was damn near impossible for the suspension air compressor and 2 air struts to fail simultaneously. I could hear my compressor come on so I knew it was still operational.Called Monroes Garage, setup an appt. for the following Monday. Tuesday they called me to inform me that only one strut had fail. I order the part online myself, received and took it to Monroes Garage. I was back on the road the follow day for 1/10th of the cost total Moffitt Audi quoted me.These guys are very good and take pride in being knowledgeable about cars. Glad I discovered them.
