I just moved out of Studio West a few days ago after living there for a year and I miss it already! Studio West is a safe, happy, and fairly quiet place to live. It was perfect for my first solo apartment, after several years of living with roommates and needing a change. The apartments may seem small, but I felt like it was plenty of space for living alone.The location is great - not far from campus, but far enough that its nice and quiet.Ms. Brenda was always available to help her residents with whatever they may need and was always very friendly in doing so. I dont think Ive ever had her take more than an hour or two to email me back.Highly recommend living here!

Ive lived in Studio West for two years and I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a quiet place to live. The people who work there are very friendly and responsive. The parking is also a major bonus, especially for Boone. There is always a decent place to park, and there are no issues with visitors parking. Studio West also has other amenities, like a gym, pool, laundry, and a little dog run. The apartment complex is pet friendly, and the monthly pet fee is not very expensive. The rent itself is a bit high for what you get in terms of space, but the location is decent. The space was not an issue for me before the pandemic because I wasnt there a lot, but during the pandemic I was stuck at my apartment and it definitely felt very tiny then. That said, it has been my favorite place to live in Boone!

Our son has lived at Studio West for the last two academic years and has been very pleased with the location, amenities and staff. Apartments are clean, well-furnished and maintained. Any issues are promptly addressed. Brenda does an excellent job of managing the property and as parents who live several hundred miles away it has given us piece of mind knowing our son is in a good complex.

Overall a great place to live in Boone. Right off 105 its conveniently located to get any where you need in a timely manor. Apartments are small but cozy and have tons of storage. Nice in and outdoor pool and gym for activities outside the room. Also one of the best dogs ever is often in the lobby for residents to see and play with.

When I first moved into Studio West I knew I was going to love it and I did! I have lived here for almost two years and have never had any problems! Everything is so accessible (laundry, pool, trash,parking). The best thing about living here is Ms. Brenda! She has helped me numerous times when I’m in a bind and she just has such a kind soul! Unfortunately I’ll be graduating and moving on but I will definitely miss her and the surrounding residents! This is a great place for anyone and everyone and I 10/10 will always recommend anyone to live here!

Studio West is a very quiet, relaxing set of studio apartments right off of highway 105. It’s a great place for students to live, and you really have everything that you need. The gym, pool, and office area are all really nice, plus it’s only about 4-5 minutes from campus, and conveniently located near a bunch of restaurants and grocery stores. I’ve been happy to call Studio West my home this year.

I absolutely love living here! The amount of amenities included for the price of rent is by far the best you’re going to get for a one bedroom apartment in Boone. The rooms are spacious and well furnished. There are a ton of resources and the property manager and maintenance are extremely helpful and accessible. I haven’t experienced any noise disturbances, nor have I had anything to complain about at all in my 8 months of living here. I’m so happy I was able to lease here and I would encourage anyone looking for a one bedroom apartment or studio space close to Appalachian State Campus or just in the Boone area to definitely consider leasing here!

Studio West has been a great choice for me. Having a furnished place with utilities included has made my transition to Boone, NC that much easier. The location is both convenient and quiet. Staff members are friendly, helpful, and timely with any maintenance issues experienced.

Convenient location right off highway 105, few minutes walk from the cardinal, sunrise grille, and goodwill. Great amenities, clean indoor and outdoor pool. Laundry can get a bit expensive. Apartments are nice and neighbors are very quiet. Great for college students looking to get off campus.

Studio west is an excellent place to live if you are looking for a nice one bedroom apartment here in Boone. You get free tv, internet, furniture, and even a kitchenette in your room if you want to cook a quick meal. The pool is great to swim in during the summer and the coffee bar in the clubhouse has delicious choices for coffee and tea. The staff is really kind and the environment is quiet and safe. A good bargain in Boone.

It’s my fourth year living in Boone and this is the best place I have stayed after moving every year! I really love having my own space and the convenience of everything being included. This is the least stressful place you could possibly be, and I appreciate it even more now that the majority of classes are from home. Management is so nice and maintenance is here when you need it!

Living at Studio West for the past few months has been a pleasant experience for me. The property is well maintained at all times and any issues I have had are answered immediately. Brenda in the office is extremely personable and friendly and her dog Buddy is the official greeter and Studio West mascot!

I have been staying here for 6+ months, and I have yet to come across any problems . These apartments are great especially if you like your own space and peace in quiet this is the place for you. The lady in the office is so sweet and helpful every time I go in or have any problems/ issues she is always there to help. These apartment are not to far from the downtown area, campus, or food places . Great little area to stay . I will be staying for the reminder of my schooling years up here .

Ive lived here a few years and its very nice, a great place for students who like to have their own private space which can be hard to come by around Boone. Close to everything and just a short walk away from the Appalcart bus stop. I havent had an issue with noise from other residents either which is super nice. Being at the front of the building, the road can be a little noisy but it hasnt been too much of an issue. Having laundry, a gym, a pool, and a place to print things right here has been super useful.

If you’re looking for a quiet and clean studio apartment, Studio West is the place for you! All inclusive utilities with no cap, internet, cable, a gym and pool area too. It comes fully furnished with everything you need for a cozy living quarters. Pets are able to live here with pet rent which is a plus for animal lovers! The property manager is amazing!! Get to know her!Only downsides are it is pretty expensive for the square footage of the apartment and there’s no washer or dryer in unit (pay per load utilized).

Not the largest space for the price, but it does come furnished and the facilities have good amenities. Its also quiet and has a kind staff.

Ive been living here for 6 months at this point, the space is great for one person and the amenities are even better as Im not going to campus. Although there has been a decent amount of construction going on for the last couple of weeks which can be annoying at times.

Very nice clean complexAs a 3 plus years resident I couldnt be happier with the apartment. Pool,gym an even the parking lot are always neat an clean.Very quite, spacious parking lot, a pleasant water fixture in the back with a great water wheel out front. The office staff an maintenance staff have always been easy to work with and very tentative too needs or requests.

I LOVE living here with my loving Husband Glenard and also does our dog Sally, this Whole Apartment Complex is so clean, I Love the swimming pool next to my Apt., and when I go in to it, the water feels so good on by back, they have nice other places like there is a whole Kitchen and also a Computer room, plus alaundry room and also a Gym. And also its so quiet here and the neighbors are very friendly and understands my situation. I thank my Landlord Brenda, she is so nice and friendly.

The property manager, Brenda, has been excellent. She has met every request that we have made, ground floor & designated parking space, in order accommodate my wifes health needs. The maintenance team is very helpful, polite, & reliable. The apartment itself is exactly what we needed. I recommend Studio West to anybody that is looking for a peaceful place, with great amenities, & the internet, electric, water/sewage, trash, & rent in one bill with no caps. Pet friendly is a huge bonus, the pool is indoor/outdoor joined, with indoor all year around, & you are in walking distance to two great restaurants for breakfast, lunch, & diner. I moved in August 2020 into my studio apartment and have loved it! Some of the things that I like most about this complex is the minimal noise, helpful maintenance staff, and a reasonable cost for what we are offered. As a new Boone resident, I appreciated greatly that I didn’t have to purchase or bring any large furniture, as most basic furniture needs are supplied by the complex. Despite the walk to the garbage and communal laundry, I have genuinely enjoyed my experience here, and plan to stay next year as well!

Definitely the nicest apartment I’ve lived in. The size of the apartment is perfect for me, it’s a great location, I rarely ever hear my neighbors, and Brenda in the office was really helpful in assisting with the paperwork to get me moved in. My only complaint is that the mattress provided was ridiculously uncomfortable so I had to buy my own. I would absolutely recommend living here, just bring your own mattress. :)

Studio west is the best company I have rented from for many reasons. The residential manager is amazing, the maintenance man is quick and kind, and the layout is perfect for me. They’ve been easy to communicate with and understanding of my situations.

Very peaceful location. Units are pretty small but good space for one person and a cat :-) I live here as a professional and not an ASU student, and its a great place to live regardless of what youre doing (studying, working, etc) Whatever isnt within your unit is provided elsewhere in the complex, and management is super easy to work with. Ive only lived at Studio West for a few months but its been a great experience! The amenities are awesome; I use the gym almost every day and everything is in great condition! Having a pool to relax at in the warmer months was nice, too! Any interaction with the staff is positive, they are so friendly and welcoming! There is great furniture with so much storage and there is a ton of storage space in the bathroom as well. I do wish for slightly more counter space for the kitchen, but its a studio so thats to be expected. The only cons are that the flooring seems unfinished on the sides - just a few bubbles and gaps here and there but its pretty un-noticeable overall and that paying for laundry isnt best case scenario, especially when so many other complexes and even the campus itself dont require that.The pros definitely outweigh the cons and if you are looking to live by yourself, this is the perfect place for you!!

For a studio apartment in Boone and being able to live by yourself, this complex offers a really good price. All amenities are included which is one of the best things about this place. Plenty of storage room in the apartment so you can keep a lot more here than you might think. Also has a gym AND a GOOD SIZE pool. Not like the small kiddy size one the Standard has. I havent had an issue with parking like at every single other apartment complex Ive been to in Boone. The sizes are normal and there are plenty of them! The only downside I can think of is that the washer/dryer is downstairs and not in the apartment themselves.

Friendly community with cute apartments. Pet friendly too! Can be a bit dark in the evenings, the outside lights take a while to turn on. Laundry rooms and shared kitchens are always very clean.

Moved in spring 2020. Our property manager is always responsive to inquiries and service calls. The team shows up for service calls when they say they will. During these trying times, the property has adhered to the phase-in stages. The amenities are nice for the size of the property, e.g., gym, pool (with a split indoor/outdoor area) laundry, etc. Although I am not here as a student, the property is relatively quit.Thanks to the Studio West team and keep up the great work!

A very quiet and peaceful place. Never had to file any noise complaints. The lady who works there, Brenda, is always very nice and works to make sure there isnt trash outside the dorms and other things to keep things clean and tidy. Shes always greeted me warmly whenever I walked into the office with an issue or concern. Maintenance has always been quick in responding to requests. Buses for the Silver and Green routes stop at the crosswalk next to the complex so its an easy ride to campus and back.The only potentially negative thing I could think of is that it sometimes can be a hassle to find a washer/dryer that isnt occupied when you do laundry.Overall it was a very pleasant experience and I found it a perfect place to live at for the rest of my undergraduate.

I love Studio West so much! This is the best place for a student who actually came Up to App to get an education. You get your very own spacious apartment with everything you need. The Kitchen comes with a sink, 2 burners and a microwave and fridge. There is also a ton of storage space in the kitchen and bathroom. The furniture they supply with the room is super cute and very nice. The bathroom is huge and very well decorated. The whole room is just extremely nice and is perfect for one to two people. It is also so great that they allow pets and only charge $15 a moth extra. The staff is so nice and very willing to help. Sarah the property manager is the nicest person and was very helpful in getting me moved in at Studio West and Eric the maintenance man is very fast at getting things fixed and done. This is the best place to live in Boone!

Nice apartment complex. Love my apartment because its just the perfect size not too big or too small. And you have amenities available to you as well. People are friendly and staff are willing to help in any way. And the rates are all inclusive with no caps. Very safe environment.

I am currently living at Studio West. I moved here this fall to attend App State. The location of the complex is great, very close to campus and restaurants, etc. The people are all very friendly and helpful as well. I love how dog friendly it is. It is a beautiful location surrounded by trees right on the mountain. I would recommend studio west for housing! (:

The office staff is super helpful and makes leasing stress-free. I would highly recommend it- especially for people that dont want to deal with roommates because they are all one bedroom.

I have been living at Studio West for just under a year. Our office manager has helped us through a variety of situations, and was very accommodating when we first moved in, as we needed to move in a hurry. I share the unit with one person, so the space is limited, but the amenities are great (no caps!) and the staff is very approachable and helpful.Its a studio apartment, so of course the space is a factor, but the layout and the furniture are thoughtfully provided to offer a spacious living area, and while we dont have a fur baby, they also allow pets, which is awesome.

Sarah and Eric, the manager and maintenance team are wonderful people. They take care of us here. This is a safe and awesome place to live. I appreciate the management taking such great care of us and highly recommend this apartment to those seeking a safe and quiet refuge. Also, it has a salt water pool and workout center.

Not even a full year here almost though but its the best place to live in Boone. Everything is included in the monthly rent the rooms are great has everything you need. Good neighbors, good people, good front office and maintenance too! Quiet too nice location also right in town and has apple cart routes as well. Nice indoor/outdoor pool and it just has everything you need for an apartment. Strongly reccomend to come live here its worth it!

As a graduate student, I feel that Studio West has been a great choice to live. The staff is so friendly and quick to help resolve any issues Ive had, and I really appreciate the random thoughtful things they do for the residents, such as getting us breakfast during exam week. The neighbors are also friendly and respectful. I dont have any pets, but I think this is a great place to be if you have pets as well! Overall, the all-inclusive rent and not having to worry about separate utilities, internet, etc. bills has been convenient and great for me. I recommend these studio apartments for anyone who wants to live alone hassle-free!

These studio apartments are fantastic, the fact that everything is included makes payment easy and the amenities include a gym, indoor/outdoor pool and other features that making living here stress free and a great place to live. Perfect for students or working individuals. These apartments are located on a quieter side of town so no trouble with crazy parties or disrespectful people. Although it is not more than a 10 min walk or 3 min car ride to main street. Also has 3 bus routes that travel past so getting around is much easier than the other apartments that only have one bus. No complaints from this resident and I plan on staying here for another couple years. My suggestion is to come check out these apartments if you have a student who needs a peaceful place to study or a working adult who would just like to live near people who are respectful. This place is great. The price is right for the included amenities, and the front-office/maintenance staff are friendly, courteous and accommodating. The apartments are quality construction - the walls seem to be mostly concrete, and for the whole time I was there I barely could tell that I had neighbors at all. Its a small apartment, but the furniture and layout utilize storage very well. As for transportation, there are 4 Pop 105 routes (that stop across the street) and 2 Silver route buses (an 8-minute ride to Raley Circle) every hour, so getting to campus is never a hassle. Overall, Studio West is definitely the best option for studio apartments in Boone.

235 - StudioWest is a great place to live by yourself with no hassle of a roommate. Everything is included in one monthly fee and the manager is very helpful and friendly. Free B&W printing is also VERY helpful for classes!

Great location! You live above a great restaurant ! And the new bar is opening right beside it as well and another great restaurant is right beside it! One of the only places with a pool open year round!

Gave four stars instead of five only because the cost is fairly high. In comparison to surrounding complex’s it is very well maintained and I have never had an issue with maintence work. Everyone who works here is friendly, quick, efficient, and respectful. These apartments used to be a hotel so it makes sense for the layout. The apartments come fully furnished (great shape furniture too) and water, electric, sewage, cable, and internet all included. They take great care of the gym and indoor/outdoor pool, all the pictures are exactly as they look in person. This was a great fit for me because I don’t want roommates and nearly every other apartment complex out here charges you per room rather than the entirety of the apartment itself so you’re left paying double if you don’t have a roommate. I will continue to renew my lease here unless something better comes along.

My husband, myself, and our fur baby, Millie, lived at Studio West Apartments.The apartments are all inclusive, including: furnishings (bed, desk, dresser, TV, chair, shelving, microwave, refrigerator, table and stools), electricity with no caps, A/C, cable, internet (very fast), computers in the club house, free printing, a club house lounge, free coffee/tea/hot chocolate, a gym, an indoor/outdoor pool, a dog run thats completely fenced in, garbage, and recycling!! There is also a community kitchen that is barely used but always clean! Yes, you do have a kitchenette in the apartment, but no oven, hence the community kitchen. There is also a laundry facility that is very clean and cheaper than the laundry mats in Boone. You can even use your credit card to pay for the washer/dryer.Pets are welcome but there are some restrictions on breeds for dogs. We have never heard our neighbors and theyre all very friendly.Managment and maintenance are extremely timely, have honest communication, and are very proficient. Sarah, the apartment manager, is knowledgeable and easy to work with.If youre interested in a great place to live in Boone for an amazing price (because its allinclusive!) this is the place to be!For being such a small apartment it is definitely homey! Just know, you have to live minimally if you live here. We wish we could have stayed longer but we moved on to another chapter in our lives.
