Called booked a reservation for the BMW and he left. I understand they close at 1. You closed before 1pm by the way and the homeless man out front can vouch for that. But I watched the employee walk back into the building(he walked crossed my car) and locked the door. I spoke to the employee specifically over the phone and booked the appointment for 1pm. You knew you closed why set my appointment. Very unprofessional and a inconvenience. I even knocked on the door. I can’t remember the employee name but drives a red/maroon Cadillac. It’s a way you conduct business, very unsatisfied customer at the location.
Usually this location has good vehicles. Last vehicle I rented had 45,000 miles, absolutely terrible wind shield wipers to the point I couldnt see during a normal rain, and stunk to the point of an air freshener added to passenger air vent. What happened Enterprise?? Stooping to Alamo level!
We just got back from our daughters wedding and we used a van from this Enterprise to haul a lot. The service was great, very quick, friendly and I got the vehicle I requested. I have never written a review before but had to let everyone know that they bend over backwards to accommodate. Well done everyone at Enterprise!

Lots of bumps and glitches - keys locked in first car (Toyota - please do better); trying to get off the do not rent list … blah blah blah. These guys were unflappable and super responsive. The worst run Enterprise Ive ever seen. Cars were dirty each time, even though they say they were just cleaned. The second rental smelled like weed when they dropped it off.And half the time, they dont have anything available.The parking lot pavement is also cracked and broken and the building is in terrible shape.Each rental drop off was at least 30 minutes late. The second one was scheduled at 9AM but they didnt show up until 11am. Then they had the gall to ask me to take THEIR CAR in for routine maintenance the next day.Find another place to rent your cars.

I wouldn’t recommend. They gave me a car that looked like it had been in a accident already, while trying to still charge me full price. We reserved a car and it still wasn’t ready when we arrived.
All cars have been smoked in. We’ve had to rent two cars in 30 days. The first car had multiple cigarette burns in the seats and reeked of cigarette smoke. When we needed a car again, we specifically asked for a car that had not been smoked in. Despite this seemingly simple request, the second car also had cigarette ash around the B pillar and smelled like smoke. These cars are NOT sanitized as advertised.
I have had very good luck renting from Enterprise-------until today. No vehicle available till late this afternoon (maybe). I called every location in this area and no one had a vehicle. Same excuse no matter where I called - (Due to the pandemic - etc etc. ) Why do they set a customer up for a 12:30 pick up if they know they wont have a vehicle till after 4:00?

The choice of cars was very limited. Service was Luke warm. I have executive elite status but it did not help me pick a car. There were three SUVs one was premium. They insisted the other two - a keep Wrangler and. a Mazda would not qualify without added charges.I am not impressed.
I rented a car this past weekend to go out of state for my son’s football tournament! Tucker was the employee who helped and got me taken care of! He was an AMAZING person! Accommodating, friendly, GREAT customer service and made sure my rental experience was smooth and easy!! I have used Enterprise for over 5 years. I have had very good experiences every time I rent a car. This time the windshield washer sprayers were not working on the rental car that I was given. They were able to promptly switch the car for me.
Bolingbrook office - very efficient, had my vehicle ready for a very quick pick up. Was ready for my return and I was done within a couple of minutes. The vehicle itself was in excellent shape, no issues at all. This office was better than any airport rental Ive used in the past year.

This is my first time using the service of this company and was very impressed with the quality. I got a car of a class higher than I had booked for the same price and also nice and friendly staff. Now I hope in the future to deal with Enterprise again and I think they will also pleasantly surprise me.
I reserved a car 2 weeks in advance of the holiday weekend. I changed the time of pick up 5 days before. When I arrived, there was not one single car in the lot, but cars were on the way from Dundee!!! I had to wait almost an hour for a car. Then I had to take a smaller car because its all they had. My guy is tall. Imagine a 12 hour trip with your chin on your knees! Yes, we were given the smaller car price. Oh, and I requested serius xm. Not a channel available - it was never turned on. Yes, the charge was deducted on return.What a nightmare. We were late on arrival and missed the opportunity to see family the first night. I will seriously weigh these issues the next time I need to rent a vehicle. There are other companies to rent from and Enterprise is available in other cities.

My car had to go into the shop for work on the transmission. It was in there for 3 weeks. I rented a car from the enterprise location in Bolingbrook on route 53. They made the whole process easy both during the pick up as well as the return. When I had to extend the rest all a couple of times too there was no hoops to jump through. I will definitely be renting from them again.
Rented a car on Friday May 10th 2019 and returned it on Saturday May 11th 2019- and since I dropped it off when no one was there, I got charged another full day. I went to Enterprises Bolingbrook office in person (where i rented the car) and talked to Adrian - he helped me out and issued a refund for the extra day charged by mistake. He called me the next day to follow up and kept me posted. The car Enterprise gave me was brand new and clean. Amazing service and will def. continue using Enterprise in Illinois and New York.

I am VERY disappointed in Enterprise. Ive been a regular user and Pre-Covid usually rented a car between 10-20 times a year either for personal or work use. I want to preface this by saying ALL Staff I interacted with was friendly as this was not their fault. This is a comment about how Enterprise handles issues that they themselves created.I booked a rental car for a week long roadtrip. I did this about a month in advance and updated the reservation a couple weeks before the rental day. The DAY before my vacation, they called to tell me they overbooked and nothing could be done. Instead I had to travel an hour out into the suburbs to a location that wasn’t overbooked. Despite this being Enterprise’s error, and their site still not being updated with availability, they made no effort to rectify the situation. Getting out to the suburbs and the cost associated was left to us, returning the car to the actual location by me still came with an $100 drop off fee, and there was no effort made to help me find a location that had cars available. Because it was a site issue I was told I just had to call each location in the burbs until I found one that could book us.Additionally, the EZ pass I purchased did not work, this meant we paid for all the tolls out of pocket. Luckily, they did waive that cost. However, for the tolls we missed before discovering it was broken, we were told that it’s our responsibility to go on the website, find out when the toll is posted, and then pay it. Again, this is another Enterprise issue, this should have been taken care of by the company, it’s not our responsibility to test your equipment to make sure it’s in working order.Overall, severely disappointed overall with Enterprise and looking for a new rental agency to use going forward.
The rental process was good and the staff very friendly at the location I rented from. However, I was given a choice of two cars and both smelled terribly of smoke. They tried to mask it with cleaner, but once it wore off it was terrible. My son has asthma and couldnt even ride in the car with me it was that bad. It smelled like heavy smoke the entire week and everyone that road with mentioned it. I wish there was an option of smoking or non smoking cars. The only two they had available for me both reeked of smoke.
My experience with Enterprise was great. The gentleman that assisted us definitely went the extra mile to make sure we had what we needed for our first family road trip. I will definitely be going back to the Bolingbrook location in the future. Thank you for making our trip a great one.
Online advertises high end vehicles to reserve. Reservation done, right? No... once there never has those vehicles...tried it 3x. You compromise by getting what they have (usually a substandard of what you expected)at the same price of the high end luxury vehicle reserved online. Use this place ONLY for last minute rental needs.Most standard luxury vehicles at airports or downtown Chicago vehicle rental places.
Unfortunately, I was not satisfied with my experience this time around. I was first given a vehicle that didn’t meet my needs (which had been discussed in advance) and was also not well cleaned. I then swapped it out for the proper sized vehicle which was also filthy inside. Garbage under the seats, crumbs in the console, a dirty tissue in the visor... the list goes on. Not only was this frustrating overall and a lack of regard for my time, but during a time in our world when cleanliness and sanitation is of the utmost importance, it’s clearly not a priority at this particular location.

My husband and I reserved a car early Friday morning to go out of town and showed up at Enterprise within an hour to pick it up. There was a small confusion about an upgrade we were promised; however, the manager and his staff were only concerned with making it right.Despite all the cars already being accounted for, they went above and beyond to honor that promise plus assist us further for the mishap. After returning the car, something was not entered in the notes of our agreement and I had to contact the store. Ronald handled the issue quickly and he called me back to confirm it had been taken care of. I wasn’t expecting a call; I trusted he would do as he stated since they’ve never gone back on their word to date.Customers are loyal to brands when the brand shows they respect their loyalty. I would have to say that Enterprise Bolingbrook respects my commitment to using them as my preferred rental vendor and they consistently deliver outstanding customer service.Keep up the great work Enterprise💞
BEWARE OF UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES DUE TO A NEW POLICY IN PLACE!!!!! I was double charged on the day I chose to extend my rental which was the worst thing I could of done. No one from the office can figure out where the charge came from. Truck was filthy and not cleaned out with COVID going around that is extremely important and unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommended enterprise at all but if I absolutely had to it wouldn’t be this location that I recommend you go too. If I could give negative stars I would. I also advise anyone who chooses to do business here to keep a close eye on their bank statements. Jamie and Tucker are absolutely worthless when it comes to correcting errors they made.

My rental was for a Full size car, and was delightfully presented with a Audi Q3. The vehicle drove very nicely, and had great speed and pick up so we enjoyed the drive. Only caveat was that first day it stormed heavily there was a minor leak through interior lighting section, And it affected electronics of course.
We will used them again in our next travel. Great service!

Normally a stellar service from the Plainfield IL location. However that site must have closed due to limited Covid business with no notice. Received a call 2 hours before my scheduled pick up time confirming my reservation and to inform me of my new pick up location 45 minutes from home. Asked for something closer and pleasantly surprised that the Bolingbrook IL location was still open.Upon arriving at my new reservation location, I was informed that there were only minivans left available yet the lot was full of obvious other rental options such as SUVs, mid-size, and compacts that would have been much more fuel efficient for a 1 person trip. Just wasnt happy with only one choice.

Recently rented a mid size SUV during repair work need on my own vehicle.I scheduled everything and an Enterprise representative came to the repair facility to pick me up. All was smoth and I was on my way in just a few minutes.Upon completion of my repair I returned the vehicle to the repair shop and left it there and drive away with my own vehicle. Enterprise then retrieved the rental from there.All was painless and hassle free. I will continue to use Enterprise for any of my car rental needs.
The rental was a great car and the Bolingbrook, IL staff were very helpful and courteous. The only thing I was not happy about is that I got an email that I missed a toll and Enterprise didnt inform me until after they paid the fee (maybe 50 or 75 cents) and charged me $20.00. A simple phone call and I could have paid it on line. I had my I-pass in the car, and dont know why I was charged this fee. Very disappointing that no one reached out to me.

Note: this review covers two experiences with the Bolingbrook location.Last summer, I needed a rental while my personal vehicle went in for repairs. Having never rented a vehicle before, when I arrived, the representative explained how the entire process worked. Because I was paying with a debit card, he let me know that the funds would be placed on hold for the duration of the rental and that I would see an extra charge on my account that acted like a security deposit. After returning the vehicle, the money would be refunded to my account. I left with a vehicle right away and was very satisfied with the overall experience.This past week, I again needed a rental and reserved a vehicle/pick up ahead of time. When I arrived to pick up the vehicle, the representative informed me that he couldnt accept a debit card as a form of payment without a cell phone or utility bill; it needed to be charged on a credit card otherwise. I tried explaining that I had rented from this location before with the same debit card and asked if this was a new policy that I was unaware of. I was told that this has been the policy for the 4-5 years that he had been working at this location. When I asked if he could look up the record from last year showing I had paid with the same card, he told me he couldnt. The credit card I had with me at the time was expired, and I left without being able to rent a vehicle.Im not going to argue about a corporate policy thats been set in place, but if nothing else, be consistent. Based on this most recent rental experience, its apparent at this location that representatives either dont know what the policy is or theyre lax in when they decide to abide by it.

Ive rented cars through all the major rental car companies for business and personal reasons. I have rented cars almost a dozen times or more per year. By far, Enterprise is the most consistently excellent far and above all the others. The staff is professional, helpful and try their best to get me on my way as quickly as possible.

Im very pleased with the service that I received at this branch. The man I was dealing with (Adrian), did a wonderful job throughout the whole process. I had to jump through some hurdles to get my insurance to cover the last couple days and rather than me having to wait on Allstate customer service while I was at work, he offered to do it for me. He called me back about thirty minutes later and said everything was cleared up and he is refunding the total amount that was charged on my card. I rent from enterprise quite often but its usually the one in Oswego. I will definitely be returning next time to this location. This branch has made a new lifelong customer. Our experience with Enterprise from beginning to end was exceptional. Ryan the manager at this location was hands on from the moment we walked through the door he greeted us with a warm welcome. As soon the doors opened customers started pouring in and both Ryan and his associate handled each customer both professionally and efficiently. We have rented cars from this Enterprise for years, weve seen both managers and employees come and go. The service was so bad at this particular Enterprise we stopped renting from this location and started renting from another rental company even thou this location is within walking distance from our home. We decided to give it one more chance and thank God we did, our experience and customer service was exceptional. The person who took our reservation promised us a different vehicle. When we got there we ended up with a much much smaller pick up than we anticipated. The person over the phone made it seem like everything was all set and when we got there everything changed. This is only the second time Ive rented from Enterprise and always had a hard time.

Let me start by saying me and family rent from Enterprise at this location all the time. This particular time we arrive to enterprise and they have only two cars on the lot. We reserved a full size car originally. When we realized that they were going to put us in a Malibu which had no leg room we decided to use the free upgrade card we received from the branch in the past. When we were talking to the young lady about upgrading to the only other car on the lot she told us they wouldn’t honor the upgrade that the manager gave us in the past, she also went as far as saying to get into another car we would have to pay a extra $80 a day. We tried to discuss why they wouldn’t honor the free upgrade coupon or why wouldn’t they upgrade us and we pay a reasonable price just not a extra $80 a day for a upgraded car. Long story short the young lady didn’t want to work with us and the manager on duty that Wednesday didn’t want to work with us either. So we end up taking the Malibu, we proceed to do the walk around and the car had scratches all over it. It had some dings on it, the inside had a smell to it as well. I brought these things up to the young lady and she asked me to sign her iPad for the damages. I told her this is unacceptable for a rental especially when we are paying our money for it. I took the rental and called customer service to tell them about what happen. This guy name mark told me to take the car to the airport to swap it out because that not a acceptable rental. Mark also says he’s gonna put the ticket in for the airport and discount the rental for our inconvenience since we should have been on the road heading to a funeral 8 hours away. When we get to the airport mark never put the ticket in for the airport so we can swap the rental out. I had to call customer service back to start the process all over again. Finally the young lady this time gets our ticket so we can swap out the rental. This was far most the Worst experience I’ve ever had at a enterprise. I rent from enterprise at least twice a month. I think for now on i will be renting from another car rental company because this is definitely not how you treat a customer.
I need to get some emergency work done on my personal vehicle in a pinch.buy this up the road was able to get me in and I called Ryan and let him know I think Im going to need a car hows it looking on less than a 3-hour notice he said it seems like its okay. I told him Ill get back in touch with them provide I can get the car in the Midas and get an estimate done and everything it took about 2 hours he said hell hold it for me the thing there and put a credit card on hold which is great and then basically I called and said Im ready to go they had a car for me I said I dont care what it is four wheels and a seat and a steering wheel and brakes dont need any kind of fancy satellite radio navigation cuz Im only going to be tooling around the house area... just wanted wheels in case of an emergency as a snowstorm was forecast to come.. I could have took prayers for public transportation but I didnt want to.so knowing I just wanted to bury bones car I got it through he said he put it in the Midas thing so it costed me about 135 bucks for two days with their full coverage insurance it was a nice little Nissan Sentra kind of cramped quarters but you know what it was a good little car it did what I needed for 2 days I could not complain.service was fantastic I would definitely even though Im closer to Orland Park these is a second Enterprise Ive used in my area usually Im somewhere on the road because I drive a truck and sometimes I want to rent a car if Im stuck somewhere for a few days and dont want to just sit in the truck stop but the nice thing was this is the second one in the Chicago area I would highly recommend the Orland Park 159th Street also...but everything went down without a hitch I came in I was aware of what was going to be charged we looked at the car I returned it with as much gas as I received it with and Ryan wasnt there when I came back the other manager was there and you know he took care of everything signed everything out and it was all done great experience yet again..
Adrian at the Bolingbrook office was a huge disappointment - rude, flippant, condescending. We were in an accident on a holiday weekend. We needed to rent a car to get home. I filled out my reservation as much as possible online to expedite the process in the morning when they opened. I called them at 9 am to request pickup, and they said they would send someone in 40 minutes. I waited an hour and called to check. They said they hadnt sent anyone and couldnt find my reservation the same reservation the other man confirmed at 9 am to send someone for. I was exhausted physical and emotionally. I asked for a manager, and he said he was the manager. He put me on hold and then hung up on me. I called back 4 times he put me on hold and hung up each time. Thanks for nothing Adrian! Your customer service is greatly lacking. How you manage is beyond me. Take a page from Plainfields office playbook Adrian they gave us outstanding customer service. You dont have a clue.
I love this location. Even in the middle of a remodel they were call, cool and collected. Even the cars were at their best, ready, clean and just awaiting their turn to make your next trip awesome.

These guys really try and go above and beyond. they are short staffed and sometimes the wait on the phone or in person can be a minute, but they make it right and do what they can. They are busy because they are one of the only locations in the area that have late drop off and are open on sundays.
Horrible experience with my last rental. First off when I got the car it was beat up and smelled of smoke inside. When I pointed out all the damage the representative told me not to work that is all normal wear and tear, after I returned the car I receive an email stating I was being claimed for damage! I did not cause any damage to the vehicle when in my possession. I have rented many cars from enterprise and never have had this problem. I called the corporation number to complain and was told the district manager would reach out to me but of course I have to hear back from anyone. Beware when renting and document everything!!!! Do not take their word.
This location is constantly adding charges from a rental I had while my car was getting fixed. $30 for being short 2 gallons of gas. $21 for a toll I paid with cash. The list goes on and its ridiculous, they even said I could drop the car off at any location and charged me for dropping the car off at a st Charles enterprise, which was where my actual car was being fixed. To top this all off they are charging my card which the manager said was only being used for a 50 dollar deposit and said no other charges would be billed to that card since my insurance was paying for the rental.
Car was nice. My dog jumped in the car thinking she was getting to go and got some hair in the seat. So they said they was charging an extra 150 dollars to clean the car. Had I known this I would not even have let her in the Car. The hair was very minimal. She is a short hair dog. Also I would have vacuumed the thing out myself had I known this. They have lost me as a customer for life
Great customer service. Just moved into the area and my first time at this location. Couldnt have been a better experience, on time pick-up, car was ready, same experience on return, even though they were busy, got a ride home right away.

I was picked up by a very nice employee to get a rental car for the day. We had just sold our vehicle in preparation for a move so needed a way to get around. All the employer were nice and considerate, and the transaction from start to finish went smoothly. I was worried because of previous negative reviews, but will def go there again if we need to rent another car.
This was the second time using Enterprise in Bolingbrook, Illinois and again; I am pleased with the results. Even on such short notice because I originally went with a different rental car agency, but had a difficult time getting in contact with them, so I switched with Enterprise. I made a wise decision.They were patient with me because of my indecisiveness with choosing what vehicle I wanted, but I was happy to spoil myself with a brand new pickup truck. Good luck if you only use a debit card and dont have the utility bills in your name. Drivers license and insurance card apparently arent enough anymore. They wont give you a car and youll have to walk home like I just did. What a total joke.
