I spent months trying to find a jeweler who would resize my soldered rings...some wouldn’t touch a moissonite stone, others wanted a ridiculous amount of money. On a whim, I emailed Lamonica to inquire. I heard back within a few minutes so I decided to bring my ring in the following day. They were personable, got the work done in an hour and ended up charging me less than the original quote. I’m so excited my rings fit again and it was such a pleasant experience. I never write reviews, but I’m so happy with my experience here I just had to share.

Thank you Shawn for the phenomenal repair to my wifes wedding band. It looks as new as the day I purchased it back in 1981. We couldnt believe how perfect the ring looked and sparkled. I would also like to thank Maria for asking my wife for her engagement ring to clean and check it while we were waiting. The two rings together look amazing. Great trustworthy; reliable and friendly jewelry store. I called; got quoted gold and silver prices over the phone. The pricing was true when I was there in person. Shawn carefully looked at each piece with care; explaining what everything is, and what it was not. He quoted me prices on the lot and asked me what I wanted to do. While I was there; customers came in that seemingly had a long history with the store; which was opened by Shawns father 30 years ago. It was my first time in; but it wont be my last. They do repairs; custom work; and have some great every day pieces. I only gave it 4 out of 5 stars WHY do you ask? Because I wish I was tempted to spend some of the money they had given me for my old jewelry on something new. Silly right? Maybe next visit; because I will be back. -Lisa from Central Islip
