Great company ( 🀣 ) if you completely ignore the fact that theyll pay less than half of what they owe on the gap insurance according to the terms of their own contract. Dont worry, though. Leaving them a voice-mail informing them that you did the math based on their own contract terms and will be reporting them to your state AG and insurance commissioner will help them suddenly find and send the rest of the money.Crazy how fast you guys found another almost $2,000 that needed to be sent to the bank.Also please learn how to answer your phones and respond to emails. Seriously how do you people even stay in business? Oh wait I forgot. You just steal peoples money and hope they dont read the rules you created.Eventually that business model of yours will get you in serious trouble with some higher power.Ill be reporting to the BBB next. Called for a dent repair. Was denied since I did not call within 60 days as per contract. Took me an hour to read the fine print to find out where it was mentioned. Last page no where near the dent repair info. Good way to keep their costs down. Happened with my last car also. Dont bother with this outfit.

Absolutely the worst. They need a work confirmation before your flat tire can get fixed. So I sit there, wait for the tow truck to come, then they start fixing. I tell the repair people to call these insurance people and get a confirmation. The repair guy calls and gives them 95% of the information (English language issues with the repair guy). They dont have the mileage number but the guys fixes my tire anyways because Id like to go on with my life. Claim denied because we didnt get prior authorization. Very unprofessional people. But then again, you didnt need to read all this...the Google 2 stars gave you all you needed know. AVOID!

My husband and I are so relieved to have our claim processed quickly. Their customer service was absolutely amazing, and they could not have been more helpful or understanding about what had happened in trying times! We would highly recommend them to anyone who needs theft protection - these guys know their stuff!!

Second time I have attempted to use R/A to change a flat tire on an RV within 3 weeks. First event was never responded to and I had to pay a 3rd party to come change it. Called in second event last night after parking off the highway. No response last night, had to call back this morning...they had no record, so started over. Got a text within an hour that service was on the way, except service company was not aware it was an RV and stated they couldnt change it. Called NSD again, had to start all over since they didnt have any record of the previous calls, and have now been listening to the hold music for over an hour and a half while the operator is trying to find someone local to do the repairs. Advice- if you are going to rely on this company for Roadside Assistance, pack a lunch- youre going to be stuck for a while.Just got disconnected from the dispatcher for the second time.... unbelievable lack of professionalism and execution.

They was suppose to contact my insurance company on my behave about a policy that wasnt showing up..the rep lied,never called. call myself and got it resolved I called back to get info to file a BBB compliant and the phone was disconnected (how convenient).. currently been on hold for 35 minutes because the manager is on a call.. Avoid this company at all cost.. and the phone just disconnected while Im in the middle of writing this review.. after a 40 minute wait. Calling back again because I have time and Im not just going to go away...

Tried to process a tire repair claim thru this outfit (apparently a sub-contractor for Tire Rack). 1st they (instantly?) processing my claim for $25 (seconds after I submitted the repair invoice). This amount was nowhere on the invoice. When I questioned this a rep came back and said it was an error and the full invoice amount would be credited. 90 minutes later a Supervisor wrote to say the $25 was in fact too much since they didnt cover rebalancing the wheel (apparently even if an interior patch is needed) nor shop supplies. I did eventually find this exclusion buried in the terms & conditions, but clearly even their staff doesnt know about this sneaky little exclusion. I would avoid any purchase that involved Nations Safe Drivers as a service provider or at least consider it of very little value.

Horrible company as well as horrible service. I rented a car from BUDGET car rental on COLERAIN AVE. Which is located 5 mins away from my home. When the tow truck driver got to my home he proceeded to tow the truck ALL the way to the AIRPORT location in KY. Which in BUDGETs system ruled the CAR as not RETURNED. I reached out to the tow truck driver asking where and why would he TOW the car to the AIRPORT in KY. He proceeded to be NASTY and wouldn’t tell me the name of the company HE worked for. This is a company that BUDGET CAR RENTAL deals with which is mind blowing to me that this company would even deal with such unprofessionalism.I am a small business owner myself and I understand that being KIND to AlL my customers is CRITICAL to my business!Anytime you have HORRIBLE customer service and don’t take care of those INDIVIDUALS is a terrible way of showing how much your company CARES about the way they’re company is being represented.I also kept the TEXT messages I would LOVE for someone to reach out so I can show them how there driver talk to customers!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a horrible experience. Waiting over 5 hours for a tow truck to arrive when a company was less than 5 miles away. Your staff put me on hold for over an hour and 30 mins. They were horribly trained and incompetent at performing their job. I will be dropping this coverage on my policy and going with AAA that has great customer service. If I would have been in the middle of nowhere on the interstate and had to wait 5 hours with a car full of family and kids it could be a whole different story. Your QI department has some work to do. Others, I recommend contacting a tow company and asking the cost prior to letting NDS find one that will charge far too much. Share your experiences with your agents too!

We had our car totaled out in a hail storm in April of this year. It took over 2 months to get the claim together and processed by an under writer. After the woman helping me with all of my documents was rude and acted as if my phone call was bothering her. Now that I called yesterday on day 20 of my quotes 14-20 business day wait period they said the underwriter needed more information and it would take another 1-2 business days to process. I was furious. I look at the claim today and find that the check was cut YESTERDAY for not even HALF of the amount of the gap claim. NO PHONE CALL, NO EMAIL, and no explanation. Worst company Ive ever dealt with and Ive been in the car business, in finance, for 6 years.I will never use this company again and they will be hearing from me.

Update: It has been over a month now since my initial review. Still no refund or information on when the refund will be issued. I wish I could do a negative star.Do not let anyone talk you into purchasing any products from this company. Purchased a new vehicle from a now defunct (out of business) RAM dealership. A few short months later the vehicle was traded. As a result I tried to cancel the policy, Ultimate Key/Remote Replacement Protection. I called, they provided the information on how to request the cancellation, I did everything they asked and 6 weeks later they havent even started the process. When I called at the end of this six week period their system disconnected me twice (or someone just hung up). I finally got through to find out that no one had done anything with the electronic and hard copy information they had received. Am now being told that it will be another 6-8 weeks before I will get my refund. What a poor company...I do no recommend that anyone use their products...the service is awful.

I had no idea this company was associated with my car insurance for towing. After giving them all the details, they told me that it would take 1 hour for the tow car to arrive. Expect to be stranded on the shoulder of a busy freeway in the most dangerous position you could find yourself in for a whole hour. The representative told me I would be able to leave the car on the side of the freeway as long as the keys were left in the car. I then received a second phone call confirming that I would be paying an additional $175 for towing. Left the keys and the car, and the towing guy never came. Next morning, car was stripped of all valuable parts with slashed tires. Classic case of suffering for someone elses incompetency. It could have been the towing guy himself who stole all the parts for all I know. Absolutely no accountability.

This company is horrible, they make the rules up as they go along. I recently hit a pothole and my front right tire was flat the next day, so I had my car towed to Firestone ( The only place within 50 mile radius that had the tire ). Firestone changed my tire on 28 of June 2021 it was a run-flat tire, and then while traveling to Alabama on Interstate I10 3 days later I have another flat on the right rear tire. I managed to get to a little town in Florida ( DeFuniak Springs) which didnt have any run-flat tires, but they did have a tire that could fit on my car, since I was all out of options I bought the tire and had them install it until I could get back to Navarre fl and get the type of tire that my vehicle requires ( since I dont have a spare I need a run-flat tire because there is not a place for a spare in my vehicle). I take my car to Infiniti of Mobile on the 11th of July for scheduled maintenance and to finally get the required tire on my vehicle and this POS warranty company turns down my claim because I didnt get authorization from them on or the next business day after the incident (BULL! ). People please dont get sold on buying any products from this company, they make the rules up as they go along..

Towing is not covered if you are involved in an accident. So when you most needed towing service, you dont have it. Nice little footnote that makes 90% of towing needs non eligible for coverage. Their one page policy document has no mention of such an clause.

Filed a claim 3/11/21... all to find out a month later after NOT being able to leave a voicemail for the original adjuster Naomi Diaz. Whom i FOUND OUT after 20 phone calls she no longer works for the company. Alexis Chappel is the new one. Spoke to her maybe twice. She too asked for additional documentation that I too submitted. Cant leave a voicemail for her either. Now to ADD INSULT to INJURY... STILL PAYING a car note for a car no longer in my possession. THIS IS A MATTER THAT SHOULDVE BEEN RESOLVED as ALL DOCUMENTS that was needed and submitted. This is my FIRST EVER GAP CLAIM and after reading the reviews, I HAVE NOW RETAINED COUNSEL and too will be reporting you to the BBB. And the PROFESSIONALISM of customer service to ANDREW SMITH!!!

Bought tires rated for 80,000 Miles, one failed at 30,000 Miles was told they were under warranty just needed to buy a replacement. Bought replacement never was reimbursed told since in the original email you thought the damage may have been from over time we must deny this claim. So yeah even though the tires were rated to go 50,000 more miles it must have been from damage over time and not a road hazard.Yeah right, this company is just looking for any excuse truthful or not to avoid paying out honest fair claims. Scum.

My car was totaled on November 20,2020 and my documents were submitted to their GAP department by December 30,2020. After calling multiple times, I was told that my documents have been processing since January 8th. It is now January 28,2021 and they wont answer any of my calls or send the rest of the payment to the finance company. I cant get another vehicle until this is resolved and I have to go to work and school.This is very unfair and unprofessional!Update (March 12,2021)- I am still paying payments on a vehicle that was totaled on November 20, 2020. This unprofessional company still refuses to pay the $1,900 that they were suppose to pay to my finance company back in November, but instead decided to lied on my insurance company and only paid $54!! If my balance from NOVEMBER 20,2020 isnt paid by APRIL 1ST, I will be filing a lawsuit. This is ridiculous, unprofessional, and unfair!

Claims adjuster is never there, and you cannot leave voicemail for her or send email to her.Update: I see you want me to contact you at sales. I have already contacted you at GAPclaims a multitude of times. The adjuster called and left me a message but see above - I cannot communicate with her. directly. And, with my personal experience and seeing many of your other reviews, I firmly believe that the companys motto must be: Settle No Claims.Update addendum 1: To be fair, I DO understand that any company would not be in business long if it did not make a profit for its investors. Since I am not getting any money from Nation Safe Drivers, I would appreciate a Thank you from the Board of Directors.Update addendum 2: Received a voicemail from Alison from Nation Safe Drivers on 3/12/2021. She may have come up with a solution to this. I will change rating if this works out. I wish the claims adjuster would have communicated this possible solution but I can only assume she follows a script that she is not allowed to deviate from at all.Update addendum 3: So I guess it is all my fault. I, sadly, had 3 policies with this honorable company through the dealership. This honorable company will be not paying anything through the GAP Addendum but a refund is supposed to happen for the policies I was told to cancel...sometime. Sometime soon? It is amazing to me that we are still here in the almost 3 months that this has been going on. Caveat emptor!

Gave her my phone number and other information and she couldnt find me on file. Finally had to call myself for assistance. That was the worst experience πŸ˜ͺof my life. Very unhappy 😞.

If you bought a warranty package from this company I am truly sorry - they are the worst! Had a cracked wheel which is covered under my warranty but the customer service reps would not pay out full value on the wheel. My new rim cost $500.00 they wanted to give me $390.00.When I asked why they said thats all they can do with no further explanation. Every-time you call they put you through the ringer in hopes you lose hope and dont pursue the claim. It could be the same rep and they will pretend they have never spoken to you. If and only IF you get them to honor their warranty they will slow walk the money to you and make you wait days if not weeks at a time to wait for payment. The worst experience ever and it seems all the reps are robots reading from a script with no regards for your situation. My best advice do not buy any warranty policy from them EVER!

Absolutely atrocious and pathetic company. The only thing you will receive - apart from a headache - is the runaround in their attempt to avoid payment. Had a front wheel damaged from road debris on a motorcycle, causing a large bend to the lip of the wheel. As with such impacts, the tire - being the immediate point of contact and force absorption - is also rendered unsafe to reuse as the belts/cords will have sustained internal damage. Not only do they refuse to accept this logic, but they also refuse to cover the cost of the wheel. Instead, they only pay 80% of MSRP for parts as they deem this to be the fair market value, which is so wildly asinine its comical.Run far away from Nation Safe Drivers and never use their services.

I was recently informed that Tire Rack is now using NSD to handle all their tire warranty claims. I had to have all 4 tires replaced recently due to damage (self tapping screws) as I drove through a construction site. I called up to NSD beforehand to see what was needed from my end as I had to replace tires before under warranty and now the process has changed. The resource advised me multiple times that all I needed to do was get the tires replaced and provide the invoice to NSD showing what I paid, then they would review and reimburse me accordingly. In the past, I had to provide pictures of the tires so I brought this up, but again was told that pictures are not needed with the new system.Fast forward to 3 weeks in, Im being told by the processing department that I need to have pictures showing the damage to the tires. The tires were replaced at a local shop and were not saved because no one saves old unusable tires.I called ahead to try to make sure I provided all information to this company for my claim. I gave them what they specifically told me I needed for my claim. Now that the tires are in the trash, they are asking me for pictures to support my claim. This is unprofessional. This is NOT how you take care of customers and retain business.I do NOT recommend this business due to the unprofessionalism.

My vehicle was hit with a highway rock, which was quite minimal and more visible from inside vehicle as opposed to outside. Took car thru a car wash where the owners there claim the rock ping is the instigator to cause the crack to expand. ALL ACROSS THE ENTIRE WINSHIELD! Neither the NSD or Glo car wash will accept responsibility for this. Although I have a contract through vehicle purchase that says they provide windshield replacement but they refuse to acknowledge that that have to honor contract.Spent hours on phone trying to revive assistance but no one had any dignity or integrity to help.DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDING THIS COMPANYFRAUDULENT!

Took over a week, 3 hours on the phone numerous stories, rude staff to get reimbursed for a lost key. In the meantime I had a car with the immoblizer activated and no answers. I paid good money for the key protection package and this was the first claim Ive filed since purchasing it in 2017. The second person I talked to said my claim was denied because I told her she needed to stop talking over me and listen. They claimed they didnt have a copy of my contract and I needed to submit it to them. After 40 minutes on the phone they mysteriously found my contract. They then tried to tell me a malfunctioning key is not the same as damaged key and they would not replace it. I had one key for the vehicle and was sold the vehicle with two. Irregardless they owed me a key.The delearship I purchased the car from has since stopped utilizing this company and I can certainly see why. I am so glad I did not purchase their protection package through this cmpany when I purchased my 2nd vehicle andI would strongly advise against anyone spending any amount of money with this organization. The customer service is atrocious and we all work far too hard for our money to have to fight to recieve services we were promised when we purchased a product.IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD!!!! Their insurance is a scam. Purchased their product at the recommendation of a dealer when purchasing a new Subaru. One of the coverage products was for glass replacement. Tried to make a claim, but they have so many exclusions (damage occurred to a parked vehicle) the coverage was worthless. Definitely would not recommend this insurance company.*update*Kudos for responding, at least your company is getting that part right. As for the value of your product, I think the reviews speak for themselves.

Nation Safe Drivers refuses to refund back to the $50 agreed on the contract because they say my name and method of payment is missing in the receipt but the truth is they will always manage to give me a reason for not paying what we agreed in the contract and this is not the first time. The receipt has everything any other Insurace company requires to start a claim as the experience locksmith specialist said including the company phone number for any questions.

They put up a wall of difficult documents to get a hold of before getting your GAP payment finalized. Stay far away. I had to use them with a Tire Rack Road Hazard protection plan. After initially navigating the site I was concerned it was a scam because of how unprofessional it was. I called Tire Rack directly to verify I was in the right spot. I opened my claim and followed all steps. No feedback. No activity. Nothing. The claim always said updated a few minutes ago.I came back a few days later to check the status of the claim, and my account completely disappeared. I had to re-register completely. Upon re-registering my claim was no longer present and my previous invoices had disappeared. Again, no communication at all from NSD or Tire Rack.I still dont know whats going on. Tire Rack cant answer, and Im not sure theres anyone actually working at NSD. Still no replies from them after 4 attempts.I would recommend steering clear of this company.

I had to go back and edit a review because again the poor customer service let me down. I do not understand how a warranty company can take over 4 hours reviewing a proof of loss form. Everything needed was sent in 6/16/21 before 5:00 pm, It is now 5:40 pm 6/17/21 after being on hold for 20 minutes for the 4th time today my customer still does not have an authorization to replace needed tires. I feel sorry for anyone who sells this companys contract because you will be in the middle of a battle with your customers being satisfied.

When you finally get him on the phone he yells at you and when you ask for the supervisor you get hung up on and then you get transferred all around and I have sent several emails along with the insurance company the Dealership and the finance company . Nation safe drivers owes my tow company over $7,000 for tows provided, for months we try to contact them and they do not respond or take care of the situation in a timely manner. *Update 6/15/20 I emailed a spreadsheet of unpaid invoices, no response yet. *update 6/3/21 Most invoices have finally been paid. Still a Small outstanding balance but they say they will pay it. Very Unprofessional.

Tried to use the roadside assistance included with our RV extended warranty with no success. Was given the run around the first day. The second day we finally made some headway (through our policy provider) only to learn they couldnt find a tow/tire swap company to assist us. This was odd, because we contacted a tow company (a name we got from them!) - who said they could do the work if Nation opened a work order with them. This is just a snippet of the incompetency we experienced in dealing with most of the agents (4 out of 6) and managers at Nation Safe Drivers.

I purchase Gap coverage from this company January 7, 2020. This company is refusing to reimburse me my refund of $945 that was cancel February 14, 2020. I reach out to the company several times along with the dealer who the have the contract with. I havent receive my refund from either places and it now June 18, 2020. I am currently in the process of doing paperwork to sue this company. But I want to warned other consumers to never purchase anything with this company. Because once they get your money and you cancel. You will never see it again. STAY AWAY!! THEY ARE SCAMMERS.

If I could give zero stars I would. Customer service was actually very polite but the management is very unprofessional and rude. I have a policy with them for wheel and tire replacement which they refuse to honor. It’s taken them almost a month to process the claim with all required documents, for them to deny the tire replacement even though all the instructions were followed per the contract. Not to mention the EXACT SAME TIRE MAKE AND MODEL WAS REPLACED per the instructions from the employee who I started the claim with...they are stating the tire is un-authorized so they wont honor the policy which is mind boggling if its the exact same tire make and model they are currently covering. This business is a sham, un-professional and very difficult to deal with... don’t waste your money on getting any policies with them they will just take you money and never make good on their policies.

I called at 5:30AM to arrange for a tow and was informed it would take 2hrs, I called back once that time passed and was informed there was no tow arranged or even phone record of me calling.. what lies or perhaps poor training.. Thank God I have a phone record of the truth.. The representative dispatched another towing company and eta is now another 90mins.. It takes time to gather all the information on the location of where the customer is and whats going on with the vehicle as to why they need the tow. I was denied a tow service for incompetence of the company to do not find my insurance policy. Then I had to pay out of my pocket to get the tow to my house. I was careful to use their provider, so it would be better to get a reimbursement, I thought. However I had to pass for a long process to get the reimbursement where I had to send all documentation to prove my policy and the receipt of the tow. I expected it would be solved quickly, but it took weeks for them finally review all documents and tell me they will reimburse me for less than the half of the full amount of the tow service. Im very frustrated, because I feel they stole my money. Im still trying to get my money back, and I hope it gets fixed.*After I post this review. The issue was solved and I got the full reimbursement. I hope it doesn’t happen again.

After my last review and a couple complaints later, I received a phone call similar to the response below about how they realized the mixup and were attempting to help me out. The following day I received another phone call that the payment was made. Everyone was nice to me after that.---------------------------------This company is a scam. They refuse to pay out. They told me the 90 days were up and i did not submit the correct paperwork on time. TOTAL BULL$HIT!!! All the paperwork was sent when the claim was opened. Two months later I called them because I had not received any emails, letters in the mail, or phone calls in regards to my claim. The rep confirmed to me that the all the information on file was incorrect, the claim number, VIN number, address, and phone number were all incorrect. She then advised me that the only documentation they were waiting on was the GAP addendum and that she would email it to me since it was being mailed to the wrong address. I sent it back to them in 30 minutes, signed and notarized, and they confirmed receipt. I figured the claim was paid off since I did not hear back from them and 4 months had passed since then. BUT then i received a call from Ally last week stating that i need to make a payment on the car. WHAT?!?! I called NAB and they REFUSE to help me saying its my fault that all the information was incorrect! How the hell is it my fault? This company apparently has a reputation for doing the same thing to other clients.STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!

Terrible customer service- the paperwork to get gap insurance paid is ridiculous, and they will find any loophole they can not to hold up their end of a contract. Communication is lacking very much. If I ever needed to find out information or follow up on my claim, I had to call and call. I called to find out status of my claim and was told they already contacted me (which is false) and I was hung up on by a VERY RUDE team leader. I have yet another call in to a supervisor. This company makes it extremely hard to get a road hazard tire taken care of. They used to be very reliable a year ago, but since have stopped reimbursing the seller of the tire, and started to charge the customer. They then wouldnt cover the full cost of the replacement. All of this changed on a whim. I paid for my contract, and they changed their policy half way though. I am going to cancel this contract and go with a company that stands behind their product. I have been duped and part of an elaborate scam and so have you if you have this as your gap insurance. This is the most incompetent company and group of people I have ever had the displeasure of working with. This company is staffed by ignorant and unintelligent people that have no desire to help you with what they have been paid to do. My car was totaled after a car accident and my insurance company and bank that the car was loaned through provided this company with all documents they needed. After a few weeks of not hearing from them, I called and asked about the status of my claim. They informed me a claim did not exist in my name and they never received any documents from the previously mentioned places. I then got them the documents personally. After multiple people saying that my claim was completed and waiting for an adjuster to process, I was then told I did not have all the documents and needed further documentation. β€œLinda” assured me she would personally handle my claim but she then provided me with a fake fax number to send these additional documents to. I finally was able to email these additional documents and then was told that they would not pay any amount of my loan (money owed after geico settlement was a mere $600). They said that none of this would be paid- no explanation given. This company is a scam. If you currently have gap insurance through this company- CHANGE IT NOW. They will not and do not want to help you.

DO NOT BUY A WARRANTY from this company. Customer service is HORRIBLE! I had to have a tire repaired on a Sunday after hours due to an emergency. Called and filed the claim on Monday when the office opened. Was initially told to fax or email info over and I immediately sent over EVERYTHING that was requested. Got an auto reply that the claim was being processed. Approximately 2 weeks later I had not received payment so I called. Was then told sorry, we actually need additional info. Im thinking, OK. NO PROBLEM. I sent the remaining info to THE SAME EMAIL ADDRESS I INITIALLY USED and received another auto reply that I had sent docs to the wrong address. So I called, AGAIN. Upload your docs via the online portal. the processing dept will get it right away and we can close out this claim. So I did. Then life happened and a few weeks more went by without payment. it has now been 8 WEEKS AND I HAVE NOT GOTTEN REIMBURSED FOR THIS VERY SIMPLE CLAIM!!! So I called again today. The woman I spoke to said, not sure what happened but the processing dept MISSED THIS CLAIM (WHAT??!!) She then says she will process the claim for me. But when she processed the claim the system only authorized her to pay for part of the amount. So I asked, are you all seriously going to nickel and dime me after 8 WEEKS? Why can I not receive full payment? I mean I paid a few thousand dollars for this warranty and Im being nickel and dimed 8 WEEKS AFTER THE INITAL CLAIM WAS FILED?? In the end all but $3/4 was processed. If I could give this company negative stars, I would. Their customer service is deplorable. They have been contracted to take care of the towing for my extended warranty vehicle contract. After blowing my engine on a 4 year old van 500 miles from home I needed to have the van towed to dealership 50 miles away. After multiple calls to both Nationsafe and my warranty company, I couldnt get either company to stay on the line to resolve an issue with Nationsafe finding my contract for the towing. Warranty company says it is covered. Nationsafe conveniently cant find the contact. After calling back multiple times, Nationsafe said the were able to find my contract. I sent the information into the website for my towing bill. I waited several weeks and had not heard anything. I called Nationsafe back and they had denied my claim as they couldnt find my contract. They said they sent me a letter. When I asked for the address they didnt not send it to the correct address. I am likely out my towing bill because these guys play games to not pay out claims. It is unethical. I WOULD RUN THE OTHER DIRECTION THAN DEAL WITH THIS UNETHICAL COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!

Their dispatchers are well informed about jobs they are assigning and are quick to answer the phone if there is a problem. Also their billing system is very easy and they are quick to pay me on all the POs. When NSD appears on the screen of my company phone Im more than happy to answer.
