Door was locked when I arrived, no biggie. I think the lady was sleeping, not sure. Didn’t trim ears, eyebrows, barely did back of neck. Complete dry cut with hair all over my face the entire time, no offer to wash, gel etc..Another example of people taking the path of least resistance and doing the minimum definitely won’t go back

I moved to Boca about 6 years ago, wow just writing that I can’t believe it’s been that long! I was new to the area and like every other man I needed a place to get FTD. (Fresh to Death) for those of you not up on your urban dictionary language. I walked in without an appointment and waited about 30 minutes or so to get seated, to be honest I didn’t even notice the wait. The barbers in there are so funny cracking jokes on each other or just random life events we all go through. I knew that this was the place for me prior to even getting cut. To me a barber shop is more than just a haircut if you are looking for a cookie cutter place to get your haircut go to Super Cuts or Great Clips. HBO is doing a show now called The Shop this is the type of experience you will get when you set foot in The Cutting Lounge you are not just another number you are Family. Feel free to come in there and be free with whatever you want to talk about as long as there isn’t a bunch of little kids that are waiting to get cut, tone it down to PG-13. In other words use common sense. It’s sad I even have to write that but people these days never cease to amaze me 🤦🏻‍♂️. Anyways I just want to say besides the great haircuts I receive there, I really appreciate being able to be myself when I step in the door. I love this shop and if I’m in town I never cheat. Been going to this place for a decade now. Rob is my go to guy! I can get him on his personal cell and 99.9% of the time have an appointment that day at a time that works for me. We have great conversations and consider him a buddy at this point. If he isn’t available and I need a cut ASAP for any reason I will take any of the barbers and have... have always walked away happy with the results. Always get great cuts, quickly at a reasonable price. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

My husband and I have been going to the Cutting Lounge for over 3 years...maybe 4. Im so satisfied with their skills and their customer service. In my opinion, all of the Barbers are super good! Ive had my hair cut by most of them and Ive seen all of their work while being in the shop. During this time of Covid-19, the team practices all of the safety precautions recommended by the CDC, the State and the City of Boca. We ALL wear masks, practice distancing by way of only allowing guests being serviced in the shop, no waiting inside right now. I feel safe with them. Great service, clean, safe and an awesome team. I would definitely recommend them.

Stephanie has to be one of the best barbers Ive ever had the luxury of having cut my hair. She may have saved my wedding with an emergency fade to a botched haircut from my former barber. That was all I needed to become a customer for life. She and the rest of the barbers at The Cutting Lounge are always very accommodating/professional. This place is by far my favorite barbershop.

Started getting cut with Rob at this shop about a year ago and couldnt be more pleased. First of all, he gives a terrific haircut and knows how to tailor his craft to what Im looking for. Secondly, hes always on time. At this shop, you dont have to deal with the usual woes of an unprofessional atmosphere, disorganized staff and overbooked barbers. Its quick and easy while still maintaining high quality. Highly recommended.

I wouldnt recommend this place. The personality of the workers is great. They are awesome. However the skill level just isnt what I expected. The barber I went to did not know how to do a tape. To edge around the hairline. She also did not have a blow dryer and walking in was like wading through an ocean of previous customers hair. I understand if you are busy but you should take the 30 seconds needed to keep the place looking clean. Overall though the haircut was not bad. Im not in any way saying they will mess up a h as I cut because it doesnt look bad. But every place Ive ever gone to always offers a straight edge tape to clean the area around the hairline. How can you not offer that?

Brought my 6 years old son in for a haircut. Was a little jittery, because the last barber from another shop didnt have the patience for kids. Harold showed great patience and took his time with my son. He even gave my son his tablet to watch as he cut his hair. Harold you have won us as a customer. Thank you.

Beautiful location and shop. Im extremely pick with who cuts my hair. Finally decided to bite the bullet today and find my Florida barber. I ended up getting Courtney and did not regret it one bit! She has not only an amazing personality but she killed the haircut! Its a style Ive gotten many times but she definitely perfected it. I do not regret going here at all and have found my South Florida barber! Also being open on Sunday was a huge plus!

Stephanie does an amazing job, open 7 days which is a plus. They are centrally located and have decent parking. If there is a wait, it’s no more than 10 minutes. Haircut and beard trim for 20 bucks, you can’t beat that anywhere.

Great place for a haircut and shave. Moved to boca about 9 months ago and have been going there faithfully every week to see Courtney. She does an amazing job each and everytime, shes definitely the one to see.

Warren and Anthony cut good and you dont feel rushed with them. Ive gone there a multiple times when Im in desperate need of a haircut and my main barber is on vacation or unable to see me that weekend. Consistency is one issue Ive had at this place where Ill have a great cut one day and the next time so-so (uneven, couple stray hairs left or skin fade not skin enough). Rob I just want to punch in the face.

Let me start by saying that I have never had a bad haircut here. But to stop taking credit cards and put in an ATM with a $3.10 fee is a ripoff and an insult to your customers. If you cant afford 3% or less credit card fee then raise your prices.
