Always cuts my hair embarrassingly short every time. Excessive use of time and techniques that make a microscopic difference. Irritates my skin when using the trimmers and for too long.

I would give New Era 100 stars if I could. I have lived in South Florida for four years and have been from West Palm to Fort Lauderdale looking for a barber and a barbershop with attention to detail and craftsmanship that I have found at New Era. Francisco and the entire team there are nothing but true professionals. Francisco took the time to listen to me and what I was looking for and how I like to style my fade. The cut was impeccable and true to everything I had asked for. The attention to deal was perfect. Again, true professionals in every sense of the word. And above all, the price was excellent. I would have been willing to pay twice as much as they charge. If you are looking for excellent, professional barbers, with the true barbershop experience and superb attention to detail, do yourself a favor and go to Francisco and the team at New Era.

Professional and fun. Always has great music and makes everyone feel at ease. A little getaway from the madness and stress of college life. They do a great job.

Made an appointment the first time. Came for appointment and the barber had to take someone else. So he set me up with a barber that was immediately available. Okay, Im flexible. Few weeks later, made an appointment with someone else. Come back for my appointment (2 hrs later), and he didnt remember. Was about to take someone else and I had to speak up. He apologized. Then, as I sat down, told me appointments cost extra...if I want convenience, gotta pay for it (he didnt say it in a rude way). First time hearing this, and my appointments havent been very convenient. He was nice enough to waive that extra cost though. Wont be going back. Will go to my usual barbershop that can stick to appointments.

Cut was fresh and super clean, while also being done in a reasonable amount of time. Environment is super chill and will definitely be coming back again.

It great for what people need to get done

I have been going to New Era for a while. I would recommend it to anyone. The prices are great. I personally go to Jr. and he is absolutely amazing; takes his time, very precise, on point and pays attention to detail! He has definitely made my hair look great with some of his own suggestions. I take my son to him and I have also recommended friends and co-workers. Great atmosphere and convenient location!

My daughter Nikki travels all the way from Miami to Boca to Jr. style her haircuts, and has done so several times a month for the past three, almost 4 years. Although the majority of clients are men, New Era also specializes in female tapes, clipper stlyle haircuts, and eyebrow styling. Jr.s haircutting skills are elite and truly in a magnificent league of their own. I always look forward to seeing my daughters haircuts after Jr. has blessed her hair with his outstanding professional haircutting talents. Jr.s entire staff offers the best haircuts in Florida.

Junior has many years of experience so its needless to say he is a skilled barber. He also has a good eye for spotting great barbers. The shop is very clean and comfortable if there is ever a wait.I would recommend this shop to everybody.

Used to be one of my favorite barber shops and constantly got the cleanest cuts however recently was very disappointed as there has been a change in management and most of the barbers I had deemed great have moved to Precision Barber Shop off of Glades and Turnpike. Still a pretty good barber shop.

Sheldon did a phenomenal job. I was worried as a female stepping into a barbershop and getting a short but feminine cut but after I showed Sheldon a picture he was able to do exactly what I wanted. Great conversation and overall great environment.

Angel cleaned me up right before my anniversary even though the shop was closing. He is an artist with the clippers, extremely respectful, and patient. Angel is highly experienced and has a great personality. I would recommend him everytime

Decided to stop by for the second time at this place while getting ready for the new semester. I was able to do a walk in and got helped right away. The barber (Cisco) was very nice and easy to talk to and gave a good cut. Definitely will come back for next time as a good haircut is often hard to manage.

Service is hit and miss. cool and casual atmosphere, but its more like some guys that can cut hair for cash than professionals. also, a lot of bogus reviews on here and Ive never seen them display their cosmetics licenses (which theyre required to by law)

Ive been to many barbershops over the years and New Era is by far the best. Cream of the crop. The barbers are all very experienced and precise, but Ive always gone to Francisco for my haircutting needs. This is because Cisco is no mere barber.He is a god.To my knowledge, he cant fly or shoot lightning from his fingertips. His superpower is purely aesthetic. Word on the street is he is a direct descendant of michelangelo, one of the most famous artists of all time. Although Francisco has never had the opportunity to paint the Sistine Chapel, he has given me haircuts that rival the precision and attention to detail shown to the Statue of David. Not enough for you? Once after leaving the barbershop, I received a call from an art museum asking to borrow my hair for an exhibit.Jokes aside, Francisco is one of the best barbers this side of the mississippi, and I would have no qualms about getting a cut from any of the other barbers in that joint.

I was recomended to go to new era by a friend and at first I expected just the adverage hair cut however I did not realize that I was in the barber chair of an artist named Francisco who sculpted my hair to perfection on multiple occasions I never realized the true possiblilities of my hair until going to New Era. If you ever need your hair sculpted to perfection go in and ask for Francisco who will do just that.

Very displeased with cut from here I went to a guy because I heard he was good havent been since old crew with jr never again hairline lucks like the end of a hockey stick He did give cash back but said some comments as if I did something wrong like dude ur attitude compared to my cut I should have one anyway p now Im busted till it grows wont do again nothing like when Jr was there
