But if you are looking for a mechanic or your car breaks down, leaving you at the mercy of the first garage you pull into, make a beeline to Bills. He has been servicing my cars for years and I would not allow anyone else to touch them. He is a warm-hearted, fair, trustworthy man who understands the meaning of customer service. Im surprised when I read about a negative experience, but notice that 98% are glowing reviews. They dont make em better than Bill.

Went to this place because of the great google reviews. Had to replace the auxiliary battery on my mother in laws car. I brought the battery, so it was only labor. The owner quoted a price of between $25 and $85 to my wife over the phone, ended up paying $125 plus tax. The battery is located in the dashboard next to the instrument cluster. When I drove out of the place I could barely see the speedometer. Clearly something happened to the instrument cluster during the installation of the battery. Went back and the owner looked at the car and told me everything was ok and completely ignored my concerns. My mother in law cannot longer drive the car because she cannot see the speedometer. She has owned the car for ten years. Now I have to find another shop to get the issue fixed.

If you ever heed a review, please heed mine. Bill is BY FAR the best, most honest, fair priced, and experienced mechanic I have ever met in my 31 years on this planet. The man is a Savanté when it comes to cars and auto repair. Bill is to cars as what Michael Angelo was to the the Sistine Chapel. You will not find anyone as knowledgable and as experienced as he in the US. He fixed my transmission, my clutch converter, amongst a dozen other things I needed repaired. Most recently hes fixed my engine which over heated, fixed my burned out starter, and fixed my broken oil housing unit. He is the most fairly priced of anyone I ever met, and his sole purpose to to fix your car and get it up and running the way it should be. I can tell you my Jeep runs better now after Bill has worked on it than when I bought it from the dealership. Bill has a lifelong customer with me. I trust NO ONE else with all my repair needs now. Do yourself a favor, if something happens to your car go to Bill. Anywhere else is a waste of time, money, and energy.

I was VERY impressed with Bills service today. I told him over the phone that 5 other tire companies would not patch my run flat tire on my vette because of liability issues. Bill told me to bring it right over and hed take care of me. He greeted me as I drove up, and plugged it himself in 15 minutes!....He told me why the other guys wouldnt help me and that from his 40 years experience there were no liability issues with good tires that have a screw size hole plugged in the center of the tread. Thank you, Bill! I will return for more business!

I took my car into Bills Auto Repair for the first time yesterday based on the amazing reviews and a phone call to Bill himself. Although I didnt have the chance to meet Bill in person yesterday, I had the pleasure of meeting John. The shop itself reminds me of a family auto shop I used to go to back in Texas, which Ive had a hard time finding in south Florida. Theres a reason why you leave vehicle maintenance to the professionals. After a brake job I botched at home, I brought my vehicle to Bill. Bill did a great job. He even had to shave down a brake pad that I improperly installed so that it would make smooth contact with the new rotor. He was also able to find me quality tires at a good price. I was very relived to get my vehicle back quickly and be able to safely drive my kids around town.

I don’t know who he paid to write all these good reviews but I brought my car to Bill for him ONLY to run a diagnosis and determine if my alternator was broken. He said he would call me back the same day or the next day to tell me the problem. The next day, he calls me only to inform me that he started working on my car without my consent. All I wanted was a diagnosis, and he went ahead and replaced my alternator, my belt, rotated my tires, changed my oil, and recharged my AC all UNNECESSARILY AND WITHOUT MY PERMISSION! Then he tells me that I owe him over $1100 for all of the unnecessary work he did. I just had my tires rotated a few weeks before this incident, and my oil did not need to be changed yet. Then when I get the car back, the AC, which was working fine before I brought it to him, started hissing and blowing out warm air. Bill then told me that he couldn’t look at it for another 3 days. Bill is a crook as far as I’m concerned.

Bill has been my familys mechanic long before I ever started driving myself. When I got my first car (used), a 2000 Mitsubishi Galant he took care of it very well for me! Now I got a brand new 2012 Kia Forte and I still prefer going to Bills shop over the dealers because my experience with Bill is that I am treated as a person, he has fun with me and greets me by name every time I walk in. At the dealership I am just another car owner, it is very impersonal.Ive noticed over the several years that Ive been going to Bill for maintenance and repairs that he is often very busy! That can make things take a little longer, but most of the time I have either been able to stop by almost any time and he will take care of me very quickly or he will tell me exactly when I can come back that he will be able to work on my car so that I dont have to wait around. I often make sure to call ahead just in case and he is very good about making sure that when he says I should arrive that I am taken care of right away. I take how busy he is to be just a sign that I am not the only person who thinks that he is one of the absolute best mechanics in the Boca Raton area!
