They cant get the Smith machines spaced out, replace the hand soap dispenser at the bathroom sinks, but they are really good mask Nazis.

Visited on 7-21-2, Kelsey went above and beyond to show me how to access my pf perks account, add my friend, and was extremely helpful. The other staff was also welcoming and greeted when I came in and left. Great experience and customer service!

This location is NOT my home gym (VERY THANKFUL FOR THAT) however I upgraded so I could use the gym while out of town. There was a problem with my upgrade (not sure exactly what) I received an email to confirm my upgrade to black card. However the app it was not showing up. Needless to stay the ladies at the front desk were less than helpful. They said contact your gym to get it figured out and we will let you in this one time.I went on to workout. I am used to my gym, it is spotless, someone is always cleaning and checking on the paper towels and cleaning solution. This was not the case at this location. Several cleaning stations didnt have any paper towels. The lights in the 30 minute workout didnt work, and also I couldnt find a certain machine that I always use so I asked an employee and she was like its there.. in the back. When I left I mentioned there was no paper towels and her response was yeah ok.

I’ve been going to this location over 6 months not once had a problem with customer service until today. A young lady named Alexus/Alexis was very unprofessional!! I had my daughter and niece with me. She apologized after the fact, but not at the time we checked in when she threw/tossed my niece’s check in card to her instead of handed it to her. Which she said she didn’t do. Also, this is not the full story, but I’m going to leave it at that. Asked for her manager Lisa, but she wasn’t there. I don’t have any problems with the gym itself that’s why I bring my daughter and niece.

The people who work at this gym are rude and unprofessional. One girl literally put a ladder up right next to my face to clean a fan while I was in the middle of an ab workout. I like planet fitness for the convenience of having a gym anywhere I go but I hate the staff here. I consider switching gyms almost every day. I Would mention it to the manager but honestly she’s just as guilty of unprofessional as the rest. I’ve never written a review in my life, good or bad but I’m actually just sick of the judgmental and rude atmosphere that exists at the blue springs planet fitness. For the record I don’t have an issue with the gym itself. I like it. I just want to bring attention to the fact that the staff is bad enough that more than one person is discussing leaving this gym.

Worst facility I’ve ever been in.The staff are rude and have no respect for individuals.Lisa the manager harassed me on 3 different occasions because I was not wearing my mask according to her personal standards while my girlfriend and several others were wearing theirs the same way. She is lazy and does not seem to have any care about the members or the facility. Staff just hang out at the front desk doing nothing each time I come in.I would advise anyone interested in a membership here to strongly reconsider their decision and look at any of the other fitness centers nearby.

Hello, sorry I felt the need to give Planet Fitness in Blue Springs 1 star; on Monday morning at 5:50am I was treated very poorly and I felt as if I was being a bother to the staff. I walked in happy left out discouraged!

I travel all over the country for my husbands work. I depend on being able to find a PF near our hotel so I can continue workouts to keep me healthy. I am looking forward to comparing the different states and areas. The Blue Springs team did a great job reviewing the equipment and touring the facility.

I love my Black Card Membership at Planet Fitness. I get to tan, work out, and then use the massage bed to relax.

I have already had two of my friends who work there get horrible service when it comes to problems. A manager hung up in one of their faces. The other friend is just trying to end their subscription at that gym Bc the lack of professionalism. This is a gym for crying out loud, why arnt the workers doing their job. I can’t imagine it being too hard to work in a facility where regular people just go there to work out.

It would be better if you did not have to wear a mask while youre working out the equipment is distance enough.

Had a membership that I had for a year or two and had called in to the Blue Springs location (home club) to cancel my membership. The guy on the phone asked me for my information and proceeded to tell me that my account was cancelled. The next month, I was charged. I called and repeated the process of cancelling my account. This month I was charged once again but this time I was charged $35.04. I just called to ask what it may be about and I was told that my account was never cancelled because they “don’t cancel over the phone” and that I now owe them $50 and as soon as I pay this, my account will be terminated. I asked if there was an option to put my account on hold so I would not be charged again since I’m not using my membership and haven’t been for the past several months, and there was no help offered to me. Now I am stuck having to pay for a membership that I was told was cancelled. If you are looking to get a membership, I would highly recommend you keeping track of your statements due to overcharging and unnecessary charges they will put on your account.

The most confusing hours. I assume this mean:24 hr Monday-ThursdayFriday till 9And 7-7 Saturday and Sunday?Literally the worst hours our of and PF Ive been to and I travel all over the country. Very disappointed, but overall disappointed in this whole city. Cheap fuel and cigs... thats about it.

Management is inept and extremely rude. I have warned my friends, family, and employees to stay clear of Planet Fitness at 40 Hwy & 7 Hwy. The owner needs to wake up and replace her before she drives more business away.

Staff is great and it isnt overcrowded. The rowers need some tuning, and thats the only reason for they loose a star.

The manager at this location is incredibly rude, flat out lied to my face and told me she was unable to put me in a tanning bed without having the bar code on my phone through the app. I explained to her that I was in a hurry, I did not have the app downloaded and asked her she could put me in a tanning bed for the time being. She repeated over and over that there was no way for her do that, that if I did not have the app or my phone I would not be tanning. After this happened, I called 5 other locations to “fact check” this, and they all were very friendly and told me that they could put me into a tanning bed with or without the barcode on the app. Her name was “Lisa” and this wasn’t my first unpleasant experience with her. Dealing with people like her makes me not even want to come to this location.

Called to inquire about the Annual Fees that are charged without warning. The desk gal that took my call was RUDE! The $42.35 charged annually wouldnt be so painful if all areas of the gym were useful. The tanning beds are a waste of time because the bulbs are never changed. When I made these comments, she hung up on me!

Love this place! I am an amateur boxer who spends about 6 out of 7 days a week in a gym. The Planet has all of the equipment that I could possibly need to keep me in fighting shape! I do all of my strength and conditioning at Planet Fitness. I also utilize the hydrotherapy massage bed for recovery and rehab! The gym is always sparkling clean. And maybe one of the best resources at Planet Fitness is the warm, friendly staff that have taken the time to get to know me, and always ask about upcoming boxing matches that I have! My Planet Fitness is invaluable to me in regards to my boxing training. Ive had nothing but positive experiences at the Planet!

My wife and I go in at 1:30 am and the place is spotless. Hardly anyone there while we workout, tan and shower. The best PF I’ve been too hands down. Hunter is very good at his job and has excellent customer service. Give that man a raise !Only thing that I wish I could change would be the radios in some of the tanning beds are always static but it’s not that bad considering you only tan for 12 minutes max.

I really enjoy this gym. It is clean and reasonably organized. Only just started, but good variety of equipment. The tanning and massage are a nice convenience. Few of staff are a little uncommunicative and maybe aloof, but for the most part they are cordial.

One of the cleanest Phiysical Fitness gyms Ive been to. Whether in Kc area, Springfield Mo area or wherever. Make Planet Fitness your choice..Black Card membership comes with so many added benefits you will love. Hydrotherapy water beds, chairs, tanning beds, stand up tanning, the list goes on and on.

I truly enjoy going to Planet Fitness. I have been to several different clubs and find I like different elements of different clubs. I LOVE the fact that we dont have to use tokens for the massage chairs or beds. I like the layout of the main floor. Most of the time I am not bothered by other patrons. The staff appear to enjoy what their work and that is a big plus. I have always been able to get what I need when I need it -- I cannot say that about every business I go to.

I was asked to leave to gym for not wearing a mask. I had forgotten my mask as I drove a different vehicle than I normally drive. When I came in the gym I placed my shirt over my nose and mouth.Marcus then told me to leave or purchase a mask. I just walked off as to not verbally fight. He then called his manager Lisa who told him to escalate the situation and call the cops. The cops came and after a lengthy conversation, they left. I stayed and completed my workout. When I came back a few days later to discuss the issue with Lisa and ask for a little customer service, she accused me of several things and then begrudgingly rolled her eyes as she snarkily apologized.Horrible customer service. And even though she wasn’t here to see the situation the first time, escalated the situation to the cops being called for a shirt as a mask.I recommend the other gym in Blue Springs. I’m now cancelling my membership and heading there! Great thing about capitalism, choices, and mine was helped by poor leadership at the Blue Springs Planet Fitness.

$10 a month is very affordable and it has all the gym essentials. Usually very clean but you will see those gym goers that dont do their part. The staff there maintain the cleanliness well.

With double the exercise machines, wait time is decreased and weight time is increased!

Planet fitness has an enjoyable atmosphere and very friendly helpful staff. Facility is clean and comfortable and they have just remodeled a new abdominal and stretching area. Upkeep on machines is continual and in good working order. Issues if any seem to be handled quickly. Thumbs up!

Both the manager and the assistant manager are unfriendly and frequently have scowls on their faces each time Im in the building. No idea why both of these gals work in an industry that thrives upon upbeat, outgoing personalities, but if I were the owners of this business Id be replacing them. If you cant smile at other people and be pleasant to all members, why not move on to another job ladies?

Overall I enjoy this gym. Nice equipment and clean. If they had body pump class it would be perfect but its only $20 a month so you cant really complain.

I really enjoy working out at Planet Fitness. No matter where I go whether it be in my state or out of state I have had great experiences at each and every location I have been at. I definitely get my moneys worth out of Planet Fitness! Its a great place for everyone that wants to come and work out and get in shape or continue to stay in shape!

They are extremely disrespectful to any complaints you have. They give false advertising and then when you ask for clarification, you get a smug smile from them while theyre telling you that you signed up online and it states the terms. Then they want to say that you came in yelling and it would have been explained if you werent yelling. Look at the tape, I wasnt yelling until you people decided to smile when I asked for clarification. I raised my voice when you told me I had to fill out paperwork to cancel and I was in a hurry to leave and I said I dont have the time. You may want to work on your own communication skills and stop blaming customers for your lack of service.

Ah man....I enjoyed being there with my niece and it is so much easier to get motivated just by being able to watch others working out too even if you dont know any of them. Youre all there for the same basic reason. To improve yourself! To improve the quality of your life! To improve your mental state & level of positivity.

Getting accosted because my mask is down when transferring to a new workout...really people, Planet Fitness has lost another membership due to their nonsensical policies.

This planet fitness is up to date, clean and spacious. It has all of the classic amenities you expect in a gym, plus a few newer machines you may enjoy trying for the first time. I especially love the rowing machines!! Also exceptional service from a friendly staff.

Love the whole gym from top to bottom. All the equipment so that I don’t have to fight for a machine. Love the massage tables and the staff is so nice! Could not be happier!

The customer service has kept going down. Its hard to workout when the machines are so close put together even though its an open space. It isnt a night club where you bump into people, it is a gym.

Google has their busy hours listed and I try to go in when its not busy or not too busy. In my opinion this place is ALWAYS BUSY. The parking lot is always full. This is not a large location. Everything is really piled in. If I grab the handles on the arc trainer and so does the person training on the next machine, our knuckles would rub.Its clean though and nice in all other respects.

The updates are pretty nice. Although the locker rooms at the blue springs location could use a spruce up.

Dont waste your money! This place is a joke. The staff is disrespectful and doesnt know how to properly speak to their customers. I was NEVER notified when my auto debit fell off my account to where I was behind on paying for two months. Instead, they decide to keep charging me late fees. The only time I received a call about my account was a marketing person letting me know that I had free points to use. If I was notified before my account racked up for 2 months, I wouldnt be in this situation!!! When I went in to cancel my plan and pay for the two months worth, they decided to tell me I was charged $10 for each month. Again, this place is a joke! Dont waste your money.

I cancelled my membership a few months ago but I just discovered it was never cancelled and they have been charging me this entire time. I went to ask for more information and hopefully a refund but was told, by Lisa Vance, the gym manager, that without a legal document stating I was there trying to cancel a few months ago, I was out of luck. I told her I wasn’t aware I needed documentation because the employee assured me it was cancelled and I was good to go. She told me again I would see no refund without documentation. I asked her to pull camera feed to prove I was there and she refused. I also asked her if he left any notes and she, incredibly rudely, told me no. I told her I was out over $100 because her employee did not truly cancel my membership and her response was “yup”. She never apologized and started to get very hostile with me when I asked to speak with someone higher than her, to get my refund. She kept saying it wasn’t their fault and that I was just “out of luck”, there would be no refund. She also told me no matter who I contacted it would come back to her and she wouldn’t give me any refund.... I asked for the corporate number and she refused again and told me to “google it”. I asked her again for the number I needed to contact the person above her and she told me no, she doesn’t have that information and I can google it. She kept saying she understood the situation but I wouldn’t get any refund and I assured her she didn’t understand because if she did, she would honor what her employee told me and would refund me my money for the last 3 months plus the annual fee. She told me no, she wouldn’t give me any refund. Finally, she offers to cancel my subscription... She tosses the paper at me, along with a pen, to fill everything out for the cancellation. I fill everything out and right after I sign she tried to rip the paper out of my hand! I told her I wanted a picture of it, because the yellow sheets on the back don’t always copy everything, and she yells at me (in the middle of me trying to say, “I want to take a picture”) “You’ll get a copy- YOULL GET A COPY!” I had to hold the paper up so she couldn’t take it from me before I got a picture. I made sure to tell her she had absolutely no right to tell me what I could and couldn’t take a picture of! I gave her the paperwork and she aggressively handed me the yellow paper. I cannot believe an establishment this large would have such a hostile, inconsiderate manager working for them and representing their brand. I can’t believe a company as big as Planet Fitness wouldn’t honor what an employee assured a customer. Especially about canceling a membership. Lisa Vance is the most hateful, vengeful, and worst manager I have ever come into contact with....

I have been a customer of Planet Fitness for a few years now and my overall experience is excellent. There have been a few bumps here and there over the years, but thats a very small percentage to the amount of time I have spent there. What I do love is that it is consistently clean and up kept. It is predictable in amenities, and they fix things that break quickly. I can do my thing and leave. Its easy and requires no additional requirements of my personal time. Anything that can simplify my life is where Im at.

I go here almost every day! I am always welcomed and they have a great staff! I dont have a membership but go here with a friend that does! Im leaving soon so there was no point. Love this place though!!

All the equipment is clean and in good condition. The staff is always friendly and eager to help. I am able to get in and use all the equipment that I want and I enjoy my workout every time.

They are not upfront about their billing policies. We were not told that if you upgrade your membership it extends your contract a year from the time you upgrade, not from the time you join. So when we went to cancel our membership we had to pay the termination fee even though we had completed a year from the time we joined. Manager was completely unhelpful. Beware, they also charge a yearly maintenance fee . So you think you are getting a good deal but there are plenty of hidden fees. Make sure you ask plenty of questions because they are not going to tell you.
