He was back first thing the next morning and helped me throughout the weekend. Very timely and always answered my calls and texts. So gracious and professional. I will never use another company! This is a wonderful, customer oriented service company. I highly recommend their services. On a Sunday evening, our dishwasher overflowed on to our hardwood floors. We got up as much water as we could and then called Fine Restoration at 7:30 Monday morning. Their crew arrive around 8:30, quickly assessed what needed to be done and had their equipment running to dry out our floor by about 9:15. The crew leader, Nick, came back each morning to check their equipment’s progress. The drying process was completed by Thursday morning. We were completely satisfied with their service. Many thanks to Nick and his crew and to Fine Restoration.

Our experience with the crew who helped us after a sewage overflow in the city line began flooding our basement with sewer water was amazing. They were out to our house about 30 minutes after we called and immediately began clean up. They were very professional and took all steps to make sure our basement was sanitized and safe. They worked with our schedules and were so kind! If we ever have an emergency again, we will be using this company.

I had a busted water pipe due to the frigid weather. I called the recommended companies my insurance suggested but they are all busy. Made a call to Fine Restoration and they came the same day I called them. I was relieved because I was afraid that molds will start growing and people in the house will get sick. The manager Nic came and he reassured us that everything will be taken care off immediately. They were busy that night but they came the next day to removed all the items that had water damaged. Had sewage back up in basement. They arrived swiftly and advised me to call my insurance. Luckily, I had taken out the extra coverage! They cleaned everything, made it smell so much nicer, and once I received insurance claim, they came in for repairs and rebuilding. Excellent workers, clean and friendly. Our home sustained an enormous amount of water damage when the supply line to the toilet failed, pouring gallons of water into our home for 4 days while out of town. FINE Restoration was called in after our insurance recommended water mitigation company failed to assemble crews or make adequate attempts to demo and dry out the soaked walls or salvage our belongings!FINE Restoration immediately took control of the situation and got to work. They employ a team of experts full time and it was nice to see the same group daily and build a rapport. OTHER COMPANIES DO NOT OPERATE THIS WAY!We had extensive water damage, FINE handled the entire demo down the studs! Jason brought in mold experts, engineers and electricians to ensure that everything was done properly as we have children and had one on the way- Jason was a former inspector as well and safety was the utmost priority for them.FINE worked day in and day out with the adjuster as a consultant driving the replacement/rebuild cost. This took a huge chunk of time, but they did it gladly. FINE was amazing to work with. They were efficient, responsive experts in water mitigation. I spoke with Jason multiple times daily for 6+ months. I was so grateful to have a locally owned team behind us that held our hand through the very cumbersome process. FINE has raised the bar in the their line of work, I cannot imagine many would go above and beyond like this team. They are true advocates for their customers in a world where customer service is not priority in most places, we were BLOWN AWAY!This was a very stressful time for our family having to live outside of our home with 3 school aged children. FINE took so much of the stress out of this process for us during the rebuild. They transformed our home seamlessly all the way to the very last detail! We had a loss due to wind and hail and it led to water damage on the interior of our home. I called Fine Restoration because they were a small business and local. I always try to support both of those. Anyway, I called on a Saturday and they showed up right away and began placing fans where they needed to be placed. A day later they began tear out. Due to the insurance process the restoration startup took longer than expected, but that wasn’t Fine Restoration’s fault. They were quick to get back in and start the process of getting us back to normal. In the end, our home turned out great. They were very responsive to my concerns and they did the repairs correctly. I couldn’t have asked for a better company to work with. I highly recommend them to anyone wanting quality work. Nick did a great job with the mitigation and Aviel was also just as wonderful to work with on the details. They went above and beyond and we are grateful for all of their help. Fine Restoration LLC were fantastic! They were at my house within an hour of me calling to inspect a 4 foot water mark line I just noticed in my dining room. They thoroughly inspected the ceiling and the upstairs and (thankfully) deduced that this was a non issue and most likely due to an event prior to my move into the home (there is nothing upstairs above the mark but a bedroom). They instantly took a ton of possible financial weight off my shoulders and all zero charge.... free estimates! I definitely recommend, extremely professional with very fast response time!!

We suffered an ice maker line failure in the middle of the night resulting in significant damage to the kitchen and garage. I ran across Fine restoration on Google and I am so glad that I did! They arrived quickly and immediately got to work drying out the house and removing damaged materials. Fine Restoration saved our home when we came home after a 5 week absence to find that the city sewer system had backed up in it while we were out of town. They were here within an hour, remediated everything, and carefully moved furniture, etc. as needed. They have responded quickly to all questions and requests since then as well. Highly recommend.

I have nothing but good things to say about this company. I was stuck with a water mess and no one to help. I called them they came right out. They were very friendly, and made sure that everything was done correctly. I would definitely recommend them!

I hired Fine Restoration for a mold remediation of our Prairie Village home. The following is just a short list of the unprofessional and incompetent nature of their service.They were hired to clean every “horizontal” surface (this term was written in the service contract), in our home to eliminate any dust that may contain mold spores. After cleaning the basement and declaring it done, every surface other than the basement floor (top of ducts, sill plate, etc) was covered in dust. After asking to clean these surfaces it was done but very poorly. There is still so much dust on these surfaces left for me to clean.I was told they would put a vapor barrier in our crawl space. They merely laid a sheet of plastic on the floor. When I pushed for it to be done correctly by adhering it to the walls as was recommended by another company, Fine Restoration acted like they never heard of that method. For $10 I could have bought plastic and laid it on the crawl space floor. To their credit they ended up adhering the plastic to the foundation walls but acted like they were going above and beyond.They decided to paint my basement ceiling though it wasn’t in the contract. It looks HORRIBLE now. I’m so disappointed by the sloppy and incomplete look and wish they had left it alone. To this day it is a reminder of their incompetent workmanship. Also,. in the process they dripped paint all over the floor. I had to ask them to clean it up. They were going to leave my unfinished but nice concrete floor covered in paint.Our bathroom was another area where I was left confused by their decisions. They used a sawzall to cut out stucco walls in an irregular fashion making the reconstruction a more difficult job. They left heaps of debris (Tile and stucco wall) which had fallen under our tub and frankly had mold in it. They planned on leaving this. They retested mold levels while this debris was still in the tight spaces under the tub. There was a garbage bin’s worth of dusty debris still there (I know this because I myself cleaned it up) while they were retesting for mold, all the while thinking the job was done. They even left insulation that had mold in it in the upper part of the bathroom walls. I discovered this simply by reaching my hand up in the wall as I did what they refused to do after two weeks on the job: clean. It’s no wonder they didn’t pass the first mold retesting.I was blamed for the failed SECOND retesting because I had installed a window in the bathroom during this month-long remediation. (Yes, a month...I was told it would take a week). They said I had allowed mold from outside to enter the home and this messed up the second retest for mold. The strange thing is that the mold they found during the test was a mold that grows only in walls and isn’t found in the outdoors. So I allowed mold from the outside to enter the home but it’s only a mold that grows in the walls? I’m still confused by this.Most discouraging though was how the workers disregarded the homeowner. While at work I received an update call from the owner who was at my house checking on progress, (4 weeks into the remediation). When the call ended he failed to hang up and I heard his workers saying deragatory things about me. I realize how things get on a worksite and things get said that aren’t meant for certain ears but to me it showed the utter lack of regard they have for the people paying for their services. And it’s a service that has real implications for health and safety for the occupants of a home. If you don’t respect your job or the people paying $11k for you to do it right, you’re simply in it for a paycheck with little regard for the outcome.Add to this the demanding of payment after initially offering payment options.It took 4 weeks and three retestings to complete the remediation of our home and frankly there’s still mold in our house. I feel taken by this company. Strangely, I think the owner puts on the impression that he wants a positive outcome for homeowners, and maybe he truly does, but the results speak for themselves.

They came to assess my basement for possible mold. I very much appreciated that they were honest and told me there was no mold. They didn’t charge me for the assessment. They were professional and friendly. Definitely will call them again in the future if needed.

I really appreciate the service, the professionalism and how quick Fine Restoration responded to the furnace fire in our home. Furnace caught fire in the middle of the night during an ice store and they were there within 24 hours to replace my furnace so we didnt have to be without heat. The workers are great and get the job done well! They worked with the insurance adjuster to get everything squared away and were very patient and understanding when the lien holder took over a month and a half to release the rebuild check after Fine Restoration had already completed the work. I came home from work on April 30th and at 7:30 pm went down into our finished basement, only to find several inches of water. I did a Google Search for a water restoration company and I called Fine Restoration in a panic. To my surprise Aviel answered on the first ring, I told her what I had found and she said she would have a team at my house within 20 minutes. We had gotten several inches of rain that day and our sump pump just couldnt keep up. The rain was still coming down, it was a nightmare. The Team from Fine Restoration showed up in the time frame I had been given and they got right to work. Every member of their team worked quickly and efficiently and within an hour they were vacuuming up excess water and starting the carpet tear out. They brought in several industrial drying fans and placed them strategically throughout the basement. Everyone was very polite and genuinely had concern for the trauma that we were experiencing. For the next week on a daily basis a member of their team came and tested the sheetrock and monitored the dampness. They moved the fans as needed and continued to give us updates on the progression of the drying out process. I have never experienced the kind of compassion that their team had for our home and for us. We felt like we were family, thats how we were treated. I now have their phone number saved in my phone and would not hesitate for a second to call them again. Aviel is wonderful, she communicated directly with our Claims Adjuster and copied me on all her correspondance. Every T was crossed and every I was doted, she was very thorough with her documentation, and responded quickly to questions. This is one TOP NOTCH company! Thank you to everyone at Fine Restoration.
