I worked at RDI temporarily while I waited for my career opportunity to become available. It was easy work but, I did notice me and other white employees were treated way better than our black coworkers. It made me feel sad for my black friends because they didn’t get treated fairly. My generation is all about inclusion and unity. I don’t think RDI practices that. Less qualified white employees were getting promoted 3 times faster than more qualified minority workers. It was tough to watch. I’m a former athlete and we were brought up the best person gets the playing time regardless of race. RDI doesn’t practice that philosophy. They need to wake up it’s 2021.
One of my top managers left RDI to come work for me at PNC. He happens to be African-American and a fine young man. We have hired many of our workers from RDI. They give people the chance to gain experience. But, I don’t think they give minorities the ability to work in leadership positions. If they don’t want to provide African-Americans with management jobs. PNC will promote them properly.
Great staff and a very nice facility. They are Customer Service Professionals, to say the least. 👍
I have found the management to be friendly and genuinely helpful. They will listen to you. The ELL Well culture is a great change from my previous employer. I would definitely tell anyone to consider working here if you are looking for a job.
LONG POST ALERT!!! During my interview with Sean, that went great and he was very positive. He listened to everything said during the interview and felt that I would be a great fit seeing my previous roles in Healthcare and Customer Service as well as Management. When I had the second interview with James and the room over, he wasnt very positive until the end. I felt as if he saw my resume and saw the many positions that I held and tried the I see you had many jobs. So why should I hire you type of attitude. I explained it was intentional. Finally, he decided to hire me. Lets fast forward. Was told initially I could use my laptop and that it wouldnt be a problem seeing that I did a speedtest on it. NOT ACCURATE!!! Was told, I would have 3 FULL weeks of MANDATORY training. NOT ACCURATE!!! Was told theyre very flexible with scheduling. NOT ACCURATE!!! During training, Andrea was our trainer. She had learned the system around the time that we were learning and mentioned she only had 2 days to learn it. She was nice to me, so Im not even going to go there on that one. However, the training was clear as swamp water!!! Made no sense, was definitely rushed, and not fully prepared! We were pulled out of training during the 3rd week to take live calls on that Thursday. We were given time slots to come up to the site in groups of 5. When I got there at 10:55am, 755 group, 855 group, 955 group, were still there and had not picked up their equipment. They decided to give out 2 monitors, a keyboard, the tower, phone, headset, meraci, and a slew of cords. My 1055am group were not assigned equipment until after 430pm which was the end of our shift. Instructions were written by The Teletubies. Took hours trying to figure it out. However, as I was up there, James walked through the room where we were and asked how were we feeling. Being the outspoken person that I am, I responded tricked and lied to and unprepared to take live calls. He asked why and I told him they said that we could use our personal computers, that we would have 3 full weeks of training and also that we would not be crowded up here and were still sitting here. All of it has been a lie since we started. Lets just say he did not appreciate the fact that I said that and decided to have a pissing match with me. Very unprofessional Mr. Manager. Sooo, we have issues with the system by that Friday. Nobody can log on except a few. They were allowed to go live. We didnt go live until the afternoon on Friday. Monday came, IT WAS PURE HELLLL!!! In last month that I worked for them, Managers do not respond in the chat when we have questions concerning these calls, managers slander former employees, we were promised a bonus on a specific date and did not receive it until 2 weeks later, its also taxed; they dock you on your calls for information that wasnt taught in the training, THEY WILL NOT PAY YOU IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE PHONE SYSTEM UP AND RUNNING EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVE CLOCKED IN ONTIME, they alter contractual agreements as well as breech them, even if youre new, they will pull your calls and use it for new class training to make you look awful! They will find any excuse not to pay you your money as well as giving you a terrible percentage on your QA score. Believe me! They dont want to debate me with everything that I said because I have proof and Im just waiting !!!! I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH UPROFESSIONALISM UNTIL I WORKED FOR THIS COMPANY!!!! RRRRRRRUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Quick and efficient. Keep up the good work guys.
Very Unprofessional.
Great place to work with nice family atmosphere. Room to grow if youre hard working and dedicated to your success.
Absolutely amazing!
Friendly Staff! Clean Environment! Great Service!
Very inconsistent & all of their managers are always high.... RDI is a very unprofessional work environment. Due to my severe allergy to chocolate & nuts RDI was not to concerned about the personal space that I was told that I would have from my my management. RDI allows their employees & management come in & work under the influence of marijuana & consume marijuana on the property during breaks & do not care to drug test. I have asked to be moved to a different campaign numerous of times & was always today they are working on it! I had FMLA with RDI and between GREATCALL management & Vanessa my doctor notes was getting misplaced/mishandled to the point I was accumulating points for missing work on my attendance record. I would still have my job at RDI True Blue if management was actually cared about the needs of an employee to have a better work environment. You can not have happy customers & not have a staff who isn’t happy or in a comfortable in their work environment! I enjoyed my 1 year & 5 months at RDI but concerning my health comes first & RDI True Blue does not care of a food allergy of one employee that can cause death I am glad to be moving on for my safety.
Never even paid me for the time I worked there last month. Ive left 2 voicemails in the past 2 weeks and no one will return my call either.
