Inspector was prompt, efficient, thorough and helpful in locating signs of activity and explaining how the termites do damage and method this company uses for control. He was friendly, professional and encouraged questions, explained process moving forward. Engaging the treatment services was easy and facilitated electronically, and will be implemented in a very timely way. I am very satisfied with my interactions with the Moxie company.

BEWARE !! My husband ordered their services for our new house. The salesman was nice, but quite the con man. He offered us discounted services if we signed up and his pitch was good enough that we bought on. We were told that we would see results after the baiting session, but there was zero change in the bugs in our yard. We cancelled after our third session and they sent us a cancellation bill for $129 because we accepted the discount and that we cancelled means we owe them the difference...for a service that NEVER worked.

The technician was very courteous and fully explained what he was going to do and what to expect. We initially were looking at getting ants and spiders under control, but he noticed quite a few wasps and made sure to take care of their nests.The sales person was very polite and knowledgeable. He was not a high pressure person which my wife was quite impressed since we have seen many salespeople for different products that were actually insulting if you did not purchase their product.

The salesperson approached our house to offer the services. He was personable and professional. He explained the scope of services they have to offer and it seemed comprehensive. Once we decide to go with the service for one year he was very efficient and explained everything including the schedule for the treatments and what would be done and when they would be there. They offer various methods of communication if there are any questions or concerns. The technician came out the next day when we were told he’d be there to start the treatment and told us when he was finished. We received a text from Moxie about the treatment.

Dave Losey was the technician who serviced our residence. He was great! He was the most professional person we have had conduct service. He explained everything well and made sure to address all of our concerns. I would prefer he be the only one to provide the services provided by Moxie at our house. Well done Dave!

Very professional service! I feel bad for I did not get his name but he was a excellent representative of the company. He was awesome with my two year old, very sweet and kind, let me know what he was doing every step of the way, reassuring me the product was safe for my kiddo and animals. My ant problem has been a losing battle here lately so I will update the review in a week or so and let google know if the product works well.

On time and very professional. They explained the first seeding would be about 30 days before the next quarterly treatment. They showed up clean, and professional, and on time. He addressed my concerns and had the confidence in his knowledge to make me feel more positive about the whole experience. Assuring me that the products they were using would not harm my family and dog was a plus.

Salesman came to my door trying to fill his docket for the day. Incredibly pushy, but in a seemingly friendly way. But he would not take no for an answer. I kept telling him that we didn’t need his services and he just wasn’t hearing me. He knew my husband was in the house and asked me to clarify with him that we really didn’t want their services. So, to appease him and get him to finally leave I walked in the house and my husband, who was working on a project in the garage, we did not need the services. I went back outside and told him that my husband also said no. He then asked me “mind if I go get that answer from him myself?” That was when I just stopped being nice and asked him to leave. At this point I put together numerous statements he’d made. When I initially answered the door and he said he wished he was able to wear pajamas at that time of the day (I work from home), inquired if my husband made the financial decisions in our home when I wouldn’t agree to the services without speaking to him, and then wouldn’t accept my no. Just disrespectful.

The salesman and serviceman were both very nice, polite, and respectful. My husband signed up for the service so I don’t know that young man’s name, but Johnstone came out to put down the first application and I was really impressed. Just a really nice guy. Even if the product only does half of what we were told it will do, I’ll be happy because of how these young men treated us.

I got their general pest package pretty much for preventative measures. The salesman that came to the house was super nice and very knowledgeable he had an answer for every question I had. The tech that came and did the spraying was also super nice and knowledgeable. Overall perfect service cant ask for anything better

I cancelled my service about a month ago and was told I was going to be billed $129 because I accepted a discount up front. Heres the kicker, the salesman ASSURED me that if I signed up while he was in the area, the discount would not have any strings attached. Clearly I was lied to.Their services dont work either, save yourself the money and go to home Depot and buy any brand yard spray that kills bugs and youll see results in half the time, for twice the duration.Lastly, TruGreen will give you a free intro session for pest control that worked better than two sessions of moxie. Not sure why Im being stuck with a bill from moxie when theie product doesnt work.

I explained that Carpenter ants had invaded my home. Where they were located n how nest are built. Also what you need to do to get rid of them. The young man.sprayed where they sprayed before that stirred them up. I told him toblook for nest and dust. He didnt seem to get the idea. He sprayed some more both inside n out. Would have been nice, since this was warranty recall, to have a tech that knew more than I do about Carpenter ants.

Initial service (first month) has been professional. Salesman was very detailed and provided me with the information I needed to understand how Moxie differentiates themselves from other services in the same business. The service tech (John) was great. He provided me with thorough answers to my questions and was punctual. Im looking forward to the next months service.

My representative was David from northern KY. He was courteous and well-informed. He completed the service timely, completely, and informed me he was done. Very good.

Being new to the area, we had never heard of Moxie Pest Control until they came to our door. At first I was skeptical but I’m happy I went with their service. Dave Losey was efficient, polite and hard working. He explained every service he performed and answered all of our questions. Great job!

It went well, but technician did not have shoe covers to wear on my carpet after he was outside. Thankfully he agreed to take off his boots. He also did not have a mask to wear in my home. He said he had been vaccinated, but I told him the CDC is recommending masks indoors. Luckily he agreed to wear one I provided, otherwise I would have canceled the service.

Can’t speak for their product yet, but service was good. The sales rep was polite, explained contract and prices thoroughly. The Worker was polite, on time, informative, and friendly. Hope to be able to say the same thing once the product has a chance to work!

I would not recommend Moxie Pest Control - Cincinnati.One of their employees was going door to door in my neighborhood which is not supposed to have solicitors. Trying to offer a deal for being in the neighborhood and name dropping neighbors to appear friendly. I had to tell him twice that I was not interested and I basically closed the door on him. The sales person name dropped someone nearby and said they also bought the services. They talked to that neighbor and said they did not sign up.This seems to be a common sales tactic for this company and they seem to think this is some sort of silly cat/mouse game.

The men that came to my home were very friendly and professional. The salesman came in and looked at a picture I had taken of an unknown bug to see if they could help me. The man who came back to preform the treatment was very thorough and respectful. The work ethic just rolled off him which lets face it, these days we dont see in many young people. I have a dog and was concerned that the treatment may harm him and they both put my mind at ease and both had the same answers so Im sure they paid attention in their training. Obviously being the first treatment I cant be sure of the efficacy and I hope to be able to find this reveiw and update it in the future.

I have used Moxie for pest control of bugs on the outside of my house. They do a very good job, the service technicians are very courteous, and the service does help with bugs. Wanted to point out that I had an issue with billing that was taken care of the first time I called.

Pleasant surprise to get brush off the spiderwebs in the corners & soffits. Set bait for voles. Treat lawn for insects. Friendly, good communications, good service.

Initial sweep of entire exterior of my home and baseboards in garage. They found a potential wasp issue in the covered electrical outlets. Zach was very professional and informative. He took his time in the pouring rain and that was impressive to me. They will return in a month and then quarterly treatments. Great value 👏.

Today is the first day I had them spray. The tech was friendly, fast and hopeful efficient. I did not walk around with him. Guess we will see how it does.

We had the first visit by the technician yesterday. He was really polite and sincere. He was extremely thorough in his UI work. He sprayed places where no other company had done anything such as the windows on second floor etc. Overall, a very good start.

Have always let me know when they are coming and when a payment will be drafted from our account. Always explain any questions I ask. Pretty much bug free inside our home since starting with their service. They also did a free termite inspection and found those pesky arse devils. Eating at our shed where there was wood stacked and under our deck where my dad had stored some wood. Saved me a ton of money!

Let me just tell all of yall, these people are AMAZING!! We had a terrible roach infestation after going on a long trip and not taking the trash out before we left. It was... like one the worst experiences (months and months) of my life. This company is affordable, dependable, and safe! While it took a while to completely get rid of those evil little roach armies, they did and I havent seen a bug since. Absolutely amazing customer service. I seriously HIGHLY recommend them for any bug issues you are having inside or outside of your home. Thank you thank you thank you!

Salesman Taylor & Tech David Losey are thorough, professional & delivered exactly what was promised at sign up. David took time to answer questions I had about service schedule and particular pests. Im really happy I signed up. Also, the pest problems we had happening are completely gone now after 2 weeks.

So I was sitting on my couch on my day off, I was zooted and there was a knock on my front door. Im a millennial so like Im not used to people coming over unannounced and I was super suspicious. It took me a good like 5 minutes to realize there was a real life person out there and they werent going away so I finally bucked up the courage to go see what they needed. It was a super nice guy named Tanner (goes by Mud) who was selling pest control (btw he was riding a hoverboard on a road that has like a 45 mph speed limit so kudos to him).He talked to me about pest control and just overall what you guys can spray for. I bought an older house about 2 years ago and I knew this was something that needed to happen but Tanner made that process super quick and easy. We just had our first spray so I am hopeful the stinkbugs will crawl back to hell where they belong

Came to my door was polite at 1st. I explained my current pest control regime and how I was interested in their service. He was a family member that works at his families company and seemed knowledgeable.Since this was a $700 annual investment AND I had already explained my whole home and yard had just been treated that I wanted to talk it over with my husband to spend that kind of cash. Thats when it turned. I had given him some of my info and stated my husband would be up in about an hour and this man told me, while he was looking things up, I needed to go wake my husband up. Of course I said No, and that he can come back later then he shows me his tablet and tells me I need to sign it. It was a contract that started now. At this point any service or product they can offer wasnt worth doing business with any company that feels high pressure sales on my front porch and barking orders is acceptable.

I signed up and they were out the very next day. The young man who came out to perform the service was incredibly professional and thorough. He did a great job, listened to what we needed and clearly communicated everything that was done. Already seeing results!

Our technician John M. was great. Very personable, just a pleasure to deal with. I’d like to see him come back for our next treatment.

The service itself was fine near as I can tell. I’m upset that I made a special point that my fence gates be left closed as my back yard is for my dogs. One gate was left open putting my dogs at risk of either getting out or letting in potential predator animals like coyotes which we have in this area. As it happens I did discover this in time that no harm was done.

This was my 1st treatment but so far my experience has been excellent. Very professional and on time. Tech was very personable and answered my questions.

This company has come to our neighborhood countless times and we have no soliciting signs up and they state they have permission from the cops to be out when they dont. They have to get a permit which they dont. Additionally they are staying chemicals in the rain. So you are paying for nothing as well.

When I arrived at my house in a private lane with a NO TRESPASSING sign clearly posted there was a very young man on a hoverboard in my driveway. He blocked me from getting out if my car but then backed away. He asked fir THE MAN OF THE HOUSE. I told him he wasnt hime and he left. A few hours later my husband came home and within minutes our doorbell was ringing. My husband answered it and it was the hoverboard guy. No mask, no social distancing...nothing. He tried his sales pitch with my husband and when I approached him he took off on his hoverboard. This guy was clearly stalking our property. He told my husband that we were the only house who wasnt signing up for his services. We went to our next door neighbor and he said he was 1 step from calling the cops. He had been watching hoverboard boy zip up and down our private lane on his security monitor. Nobody had signed up for his services.

So knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Explain and reassured me on the what’s and how’s of the treatment and reassured me of easy follow up should any problems arise between treatment. I would highly recommend this to anyone with an over abundance of outdoor bugs!

Cant really comment on the results yet, as Ive just received my first treatment. I am very happy with the performance of Carlos, the man sent to my home. Very attentive to my questions and took great care to address all my issues with specific pests So far, happy with Moxie.

I have a no soliciting sign posted clearly on my home just above the doorbell, yet one of Moxie’s reps knocked on my door anyway. When I answered he said he noticed the sign, yet continued his sales pitch. It took sever attempts of me telling him I did not want to buy any services from him before he finally left. I’ll be posting a negative review regarding this event on other review sites as well as informing the BBB and the Union Township police that Moxie has broken the law.

The salesperson, Christian, was very polite and informative. He answered all of my questions. The young man who applied the service, Carlos, was also polite and did a very thorough job.

John Mackie came out. He showed up when he was supposed too (which has not been my experience for many services I have had done). He was quick and efficient, listened to the problem areas and addressed all my questions and concerns.Great guy and great job!

I had the same issue as Jim James said in their review. I told the same salesmen(I believe) multiple times that I didnt need his service, and ask him multiple times to leave my property. He then changed from a nice demeanor to being disrespectful and told me to have fun with your spider problem. He left on a Segway type vehicle, and now I feel unsafe because he gave off a creepy vibe. He also made it sound like he was already treating our house. He asked me did you notice any of the work Ive been doing. I hope something can be done to change the way he approaches customers in the future.

I did not ask for the service but a salesman showed up at my house. Despite the 400 ways of me saying Im not interested...he would not leave me alone. This after he banged on my door like my house was on fire. I told the guy Im working, Im busy, Im not interested, and literally had to tell him to get off my property before he would leave.

Johnston came out to treat our lot for mosquitoes. We have half an acre of woods, but he was not deterred. He sprayed everything. Great job!

Watch out for extremely high pressure sales.A Moxie salesman (blonde, 20-22 years old) came at 8pm on Friday and would jo take No for an answer. He would not listen and trespassed. I told him that I was not interested and did not need the services. He continued to talk and created reasons without my approval to go around my house to look for reasons to provide extermination services. After making his way to my backyard, I asked him to leave nicely twice and that I did not need his service. The third time I told him to “you are not listening, get off my property NOW!.”Never have I had to be this firm with a salesman. If he won’t take No for an answer on the initial sale, image how hard headed the service will be later on.

Im not pleased at all. The DSR made it seem like everyone in the neighborhood was signing up, I knew that was a sales tactic, and my husbands main concern was is it going to harm the bees that are around our flowers? The rep said it wasnt going to harm our bees and It wouldnt effect them. After 1 treatment, all our bees are gone. My husband and I are still really upset that we cant get them back and when we found 1 bee in our yard, it was nearly dead on the ground. I wouldnt do business with them again nor tell anyone I know about it. HOWEVER, the tech that came out was really sweet and had a great sense of humor, but thats the only nice thing we can say.

The company does NOT listen that I want 1 week notice and a phone call to see if I have any special needs.I got a 20 minute notice today. Totally nothappy. Left my last company because I thought this would be better.I have asked for notice for a year. Nope... they didnt do it.Last chance! I dont care the cost to cancel.

My technician Dave L. really knew what he was doing. I was going to show him the ant nest but he located it before I got there. He explained the type of ants and what the treatment would be. I was very impressed with his professionalism!

Tyler just stopped by my new house to push bug treatments. Several times he tried to get me to sign up for service on the spot, after I told him I was not going to sign up today. When I finally asked him to leave so I could get back to work he got nasty with me asking if I was going to let bugs eat my children. Ill gladly pay more to do business with a company that isnt using a pushy door to door sales trap.

The gentleman was on time, polite, and knew what his job was. He called his office to make certain he could return for the follow-up; at my request. The office okayed the request. That was helpful for our attitude toward the Company.

I cannot tell you how very rude it is to ring my doorbell at 9pm, then literally laugh at me when I answer in my night gown wrapped in a blanket. I get up at 4:30am for work, my daughter was already in bed and woken up by you. Im not interested in your product in the least. Even if I was, this kind of stupidity will not win me over to your company.

Their treatments outside seem to be working really well. Only thing they dont seem to know how to do is call or text 30 minutes prior to the treatment so we can get our dog inside.
