How does a $38 standard pedicure, a $42 gel manicure, and a 20% tip add up to $116?It doesnt. My total even with sales tax should have been around $100-$101.They use Square, take your card, dont show you a total, and overcharge you. Wont be coming back to a place that takes advantage of their customers!

Worst experience Ive had at a nail salon. Terrible, rushed pedicure and after I got knicked pretty deep during a cuticle trim, I opted not to continue the manicure after nails were filed and cuticles trimmed. They charged me $60 for pedicure and regular manicure, but shouldve been $56 (for express manicure which is $18 and not $22 as listed on their own website- no polish, no lotion, etc..). When I asked about it, they gave me $3 back after they wanted to confirm it was my choice to stop the gel manicure. Not sure why that mattered and it shouldve been $4 back, not worth arguing at that point... Came with two friends who were also overcharged. Never again.

After paying 200 for my daughters nails and toes 2 nails have already broke and it’s only been 5 days we drove an hour from our house and I’m not driving back out there to get them fixed. They could of offered a partial refund but nope.

This place is terrible if you black or any other race you will be treated differently as you can see my nails look like the polish is sliding off and that is dip and you can also see the polish on the outside of my nails poor poor customer service I won’t be back and I will be calling someone on this location because if you can’t do right by everyone then you shouldn’t be owning a business!

Used translate & personal knowledge of language and understood every word she said. After refusing to admit she was wrong, she then refused service and got loud in front of other customers. Literally, refused the service to fix her mistake and made a scene!For the horrendous service and fearful employees, I’d say spend your money somewhere else to avoid a major mess up and Jamila’s nastiness. You’ll be glad you did. Oh, and mind the mold. It’s everywhere.

They services aren’t great and I got my nails done 5 days ago and they are acrylic gel. They are already falling off and getting hair in them. They are streaky and see through. The manager was the one who did them. They don’t offer refunds but don’t post it anywhere. He started getting nasty with me and threatened to call cops.

I will not be returning. I came in to get my nails done for a hand modeling job where they’d be featured in a tv commercial and had reference photos for how they should look. It was basically blue French tips. One guy did the base and another the tips. I noticed a few spots that needed to be corrected and politely asked for them to be fixed. He tried to fix the first mistake and it wasn’t working so he wiped the nail clean, clearly frustrated. As he pushed my hand under the plexi glass to dry at the fan on the side of the table, one of my fingers bumped the edge of the plexi glass and smudged the nail. So he had to redo that one too.I expressed my appreciation and explained I really needed these to be done right since they’d be on full display on TV. He acted like he understood for a few seconds there. But I noticed there was blue polish on my skin around my fingers. I asked him to clean it up with polish remover. He sort of barely grazed it with a paint brush halfway getting it up. I went to the drying station and sat for a while. But then I noticed my nails were still messy because of the polish that wasn’t removed on my skin. I didn’t want to go to set right after and be embarrassed because I didn’t speak up and have them do my nails properly. So I knocked on the door to the back since everyone on the floor was busy and asked if he’d take another look and remove the polish.He looked at one finger and again very lightly used the paintbrush to “remove it.” He then shoved the finger to my face and said “see, nothing there” which wasn’t true. Clearly there was still more there. I kept calm and patient this entire time because I usually don’t speak up for myself and hate conflict, but I was really getting frustrated at this point. I said “could you scrub a little harder? Maybe use the wipe? I still see some and it’s not just on that finger it’s on all of them.” He then proceeded to very quickly and frustratingly wipe around each nail not really looking to see if it was doing anything, but just going through the motions. Once again, I told him I appreciated it and was ready to get out of there. It still wasn’t a very clean nail job. But I’d had enough. I felt like they didn’t even do the bare minimum. Extremely disappointed at the quality and service. And like I said at the start of this review, I will not be returning and will be sure to tell my friends my experience.

Lady made my big toe bleed doing my pedicure. They charge you an extra 20 dollars for using a credit card without telling you and no signs anyway stating this. 1st and last time here.

I went to this place on my birthday, there was one near the mall where my boyfriend took me as a surprise since id been talking about it. For one, the nail tech wouldnt do the design (which was just a flower, nothing extra) so she did polka dots. My nails came out crooked and I asked her multiple times to fix it before she even put the acrylic on them, cause she rushed to glue the tips on. She basically said it was too late to do anything and finished my nails even though you could visibly see some of the nails were pointed upward. They were also WAY overpriced for something so simple that I couldve done at home, i just wanted the flower and couldnt even get that.Now, here I am over a month later, trying to take them off and they WONT. Even acetone wouldnt take off the polish after SOAKING THEM. I basically have to clip them down to the root and file away the rest, which defeated the purpose of why I wanted them on so my nails could grow. Im definitely not coming back and may have to take action if I need to get a professional to remove them.At this moment, I was only able to take one nail off after a lot of pain and clipping. Beware of whatever products/glue theyre using.

Great place! My husband bought me a gift certificate for my birthday. I had a deluxe pedicure and it was pure heaven.

I got my nails done on a friday. A simple fill in and gel polish. I had one nail break 3 days later another break at 6 days and the one more break on 9 days. I have never experienced this with getting my nails before. I work on the computer all day so I did not do anything to make them fragile. Very below average salon. I live 2 mins away from Blue Ash Nails so I thought I would be great to go to my neighborhood salon. I was wrong.1. Whenever my daughter and I make an appt together they dont take us at the same time so I end up waiting up to an hour for her to be done. Whats the point of making an appointment?2 They arent very friendly. It just feels like theyre shuffling us around.3. They dont enforce COVID restrictions. Customers were siting at the drying station without masks on and nobody said anything.4. Its not clean. They dont clean the stations between people or use hand sanitizer before they start on each client. GROSS!5. Theyre overpriced.So, I will be going 15 mins out of my way to AMBIANCE where its clean and the service is exceptional.

Everyone was very polite to me but definitely was difficult getting what I wanted. I came with a friend and that basically told her they couldnt do a simple nail design she wanted, very upsetting. Too expensive not to get what you want. Nails are bumpy and the flower I wanted was not up to my standards but from a distance it still looks ok. I just would rather spend my money elsewhere and know Im getting what Im paying for rather than pay a lot for mediocre nails.

I went in at 9am to have my nails dipped she started right away. The first clue I should of had that it was going to be bad was she could not even figure out which 2 tips to put on my 2 fingers another worker had show her. She kept filing and doing other thing throughout the whole dip process. My nails are not smooth she did not fill the spots in correctly. I could have done a better job doing it myself. It took her 2 hours to do a simple dip and it was a very poor job.

I have been here several times with very good experiences, this last time was unusual, the tech that did my sns nails and manicure had another girl sitting next to her who kept laughing and interrupting, she got up several times and left me sitting. Barely spoke to me. Did a great job on my nails but made me feel uncomfortable with all if the laughing and whispering, she then charged me 70$ which is higher than normal, barely took 5minutes on the manicure part. Ill go back but avoid going to her

I enjoy the experience of coming to this salon. I never wait, while other salons I have waited up to an hour. They are always staffed and so friendly. The manager really cares about the customers and makes sure you are satisfied! If something is wrong you can go to him and he will be happy to fix it! Great customer service!

Very lovely place but I just spent 40 on the most basic pedicure. Just came from another place and paid less than 20 for a manicure. Going to have to rethink this otherwise convenient lication....

I wish they had zero star option. Today we went for full handwax but surprisingly,they have no idea what they have for the customers and gave a silly reason that they were out of wax (which is not my concern) That made me wait till 30mins without any service I came out.

Got my nails done here and they looked alright. A few weeks later i came in to get them taken off and the women who did it didnt say a word to me was very rough and cut me multiple times and didnt completely take the nails off and said she was done. Honestly awful service

I got to give a huge shout out to Brandon. After waiting an hour at another nail place and still not being acknowledged I called here to see if they could squeeze me in. They close at 8 but I got there at 7:58 and Brandon stayed late to do my nails. I really appreciate that and he did such a good job. It’s nice to see a nail place to above and beyond what they have to do. I’ll definitely be coming back here in the future. Thanks Brandon!

I felt really rushed while there.. and my nails came out crooked. I mean it wasnt the absolute worst experience Ive ever had, but Im not sure for the price that Ill go back. I wanted to try Blue Ash Nails since its so close to my house, but Ill probably just stick to my other place which offers more SNS colors and a little bit better service.. it would have helped too if the nail techs would make sure that customers are feeling good about how the nails are looking before getting payment and ushering them out the door. I felt way too rushed to be able to bring up the fact that my nails were crooked, different lengths, and uneven/splotchy in some places.

The first lady I had was very rude, kept calling me girl. for my name.. the 2nd lady (I believe Jessica) was very nice and actually took time on my nails, making me come back again. The last time I went will be the last, the lady rushed me, I had to ask for 2 coats of polish and she forgot to give me the manicure..

BA Nails is my favorite nail salon!! They always make sure I am happy with the finished product and take time to make everything perfect. I got acrylics yesterday, but instead of the normal square tip, I wanted pointed, rounded nails. My technician spent extra time to grind my acrylics just the way I wanted them and they look AMAZING. I also got a pedicure, and my technician massaged my legs for 5 min each - which is unheard of, and also used a hot towel on my legs and feet! Go to BA nails - you wont regret it!!!

I loved Blue Ash Nails, and was a regular customer. They typically do a very good job. However, I was not treated well at a recent visit, when I arrived at 7:35, and they were unhappy and complained, stating that they close at 8:00. I dont actually understand the issue with this, but it was clear I was not welcome. Since this is the only time I can make it, I am choosing to find another location, which is a shame.

Every time I come here my polish always chips (no chip polish) the next day. I paid $74 dollars for a mani and pedi only to have my toes smudge after I didnt wear shoes for 5 hours and my nails to start chipping the same night. After I go back to get it fixed this time, I will never be back.

I wont tell you what you want to hear... I got my nails done for my vacation and 3 of my shellac polished nails fell off WHILE I was on the airplane to my destination. I got a pedicure as well... HA I was in the ocean and they pealed off from my toes after being in the water less than 5 minutes. Even if you make an appointment they make you wait.. I had gone here for months now and am just SHOCKED with how they treated me, a LOYAL costumer. They care about QUANTITY not quality and I advise you to STAY CLEAR of this over priced place.

Wasnt impressed. Staff wasnt that friendly and then there was a mix up on whether my niece paid before she left. Called me out in front of customers. In having to make phone calls to ensure my niece paid etc. (which she did). I wont be returning there!

I was in the area on business and thought that this nail salon looked decent since it is in a nice neighborhood. I went in and had a Pink & White set with a gel coat put on by the owner. Within a matter of 5 daysm ALL of my nails were lifting and one was already cracked. I went back to the nail salon and the owner told me that it was from normal wear and tear and there was nothing he would do to fix them. Needless to say-I will never go back there when I am in town.

I called and made an appointment, while I was waiting for a nail tech someone walked in without an appointment, she was promptly taken back without having to wait for anyone. The only reason I thought to give this salon a try is cause they were open on Sunday and my next week was super busy. After I waited past my appointment, the tech said that he was the manager or owner, kept asking what it would take for me to move from the salon I normally use to them and making me unconformable. When I got home I have shellac polish over my nail beds and the tops of my nails were not smooth, I had to fix my polish in hopes of not chipping it cause they have a 3 day policy, shellac manicures usually last me 3 weeks. This is 1 week later and my cuticles are wrecked and my nails are peeling from the polish. I will never go back to this place again. I will only go back to 90s nails and see Dawson!

I really loved this place. They have a huge selection of colors, its very clean, the massage chairs are AMAZING and the woman who did my nails was very nice and thorough. She also gave a great foot/calf massage which is always my favorite part. I got a mani/pedi for a little over $50 before tipping. I live in Newport but Ill definitely be making the drive up here next time I need a bit of pampering.

I have gone here and there is a man who works there who is very rude and acts extreamly racist against black people . He literally talked to me like I’m a dog . The girls who worked there apologized for him.I’m sorry but I was a paying customer, I did a mani pedi with acrylic and French tip . I would never go here or recommend this nail salon to anyone . Go ahead and go to the kenwood mall location or Ohio nails . There is nothing that would make something like that right . It’s disgusting that there’re people like him who work in professional settings. I will never forget that encounter I had with him . He usually does the cashier and is standing near the door .

I called before I went and told them I needed a pedi and full set. When I got there nobody wanted to wait on me, then the lady that did my pedi said she has to charge me extra because I had dead skin on my feet (duh hints a pedi). The lady that did my nails did them so uneven and got mad when I asked her to make them straight and said I complain to much. They are very unprofessional and I will not go back nor would I recommend them to someone

They do such a fantastic job and are so friendly. To top it off, the mani and pedi I get lasts a while so I dont have to come back the same week like other salons for a touch up.

What I like about this place is they have an Express mani option. I mean its not a huge time difference, but it does allow you to get in and out on a lunch break.With the Express they skip the normal pampering and hand massage, which I cant attest to, as Ive only done the express. Its a cute smallish shop, about 6-8 mani tables and 5 or 6 pedi chairs. The staff are friendly but not overly in your face. If you dont feel like mindless chit chat, they wont. Their dryers could use a little work, but the prices are decent and theres not a horrible wait time if youve made an appointment.

I’ve been a few times and had alright experiences. It was overpriced but close to my house and walk ins were welcome.Well... this last time I called to see their wait time. They said no wait for myself and my mom. We got there 5 minutes later and surprise surprise there was a wait. We weren’t even seated until 35 minutes later.I was told to sit “by the windows”. I sat at a window seat where a seat was next to me (so my mom could sit with me). I was yelled at that I sat in the wrong seat. They then told my mom where to sit. At this point it had been 40 minutes and no one had started working on our nails. I told my mom we should just leave. We got up and immediately the employees ran at us telling us to sit down and they would be with us shortly. I’ll never be going back. You can’t lie and be rude to your clients!
