Title: Highly Recommend Purchasing Through CostcoBottom Line: In March 2021, I purchased carpeting through Costco and despite a scheduling hiccup, was overall pleased with the experience and quality.From day 1, after contacting the flooring company through Costco, we were immediately scheduled and were met by a very helpful, knowledgeable, and kind employee named Mike G. Mike has been in the businesses for over 20 years and was able to guide us through picking the right carpet, style, color, and size. The quality of the carpet is very good and all through “Shaw,” which has a robust selection. The company that does the actual carpet installation is Mcswain Carpet Tile Flooring, which did a good job overall. The person who installed the carpet (Dave) was very helpful and skilled. The follow up was very nice and professional by an individual named Dean. Going through Costco also helped cut down costs and guaranteed quality product and service. Highly recommend.

Dean at McSwain Carpet in Blue Ash was fantastic. My wife and I went to Lowe’s, Home Depot, and a few other flooring places to look for flooring in our basement. Dean was the person who explained the different types of flooring to us. Will definitely do business with this place in future.

I am very disappointed with my experience. The installation process was quite painful and the people that came to my house to measure and install were unprofessional, unmasked and acted like they didn’t know the plan for my stair runner or the reason for their measuring visits. I was not confident the install would be correct after 3 different visits to measure. I was told I would always be phoned in the AM to get a time for measuring/install visits - never happened. My install was delayed on the day of and because I didn’t want to deal with this company and rescheduling after having waited weeks - they ultimately came & installed the scheduled evening at 5:30 pm during a planned dinner party. There was no customer service willing to work with me on adjusting cost or helping in any way. I would likely not go back to this company for fear of many, many inconveniences and poor customer service. I was pleased with the sales team I worked with and they did not contribute to my frustrations with the rest of my experience.

Dakota was great! Very knowledgable and made the process a breeze. Excellent selection in the showroom as well.

McSwain in Blue Ash did a wonderful job with the new Flooring of Kardeen Midnight Black Marble Tile and Silver Stripping and Shaw Carpet in both Bedrooms and Living Room along with replacement carpet on the enclosed Porch. A new replacement in our Condo before it was sold in November 2015. They were quick efficient and since so much was purchased even worked out a good deal and the result left sad to sell the Condo. I highly recommend McSwain Carpet and even recommend Dean and Rich at this location to assist you with your needsUpdate : After looking for a house we decided to build, and had McSwain help us with our needs there as well and the results have been wonderful. We will continue to use them whenever we have a need for Carpet and Flooring. Thank You so Much for everything!

Our salesman, Billy Miller, was very knowledgeable and was easy to work with. I would definitely recommend him to family and friends!Our installers were excellent. Extremely friendly, efficient, and were very hard workers. They were able to complete what I thought would be a 2 day job, in only one day!! Absolutely exceeded my expectations!

We had 3 bathrooms done in our new house. All the floors were great but 2 of 3 showers were unacceptable. They didnt use spacers supposedly on any of them but 1 of the showers looks great and the other 2... well lets just say their free form work was very noticeable. They fell back on - we installed it per the manufacturer specs. If it says dont use spacers and put tile on the wall then yes you didnt violate any specs. But come on, I have an example in my own house of what I want. Ive hired tile people before and Ive never seen them not use spacers so Im not sure why they didnt use them. So, if you want straight tile ask them to use spacers!

I just had McSwain replace my 25-year old wall-to-wall carpet with hardwood floors. I have been very happy throughout the process, and now that its done, Im thrilled with the results. My salesman, Mike, was responsive and helpful throughout. The installers were really good too - they showed up on time, worked hard, and made the floors look beautiful.

I just got new carpet installed in my house and it looks great! Billy Miller was very easy to work with. He was very knowledge and helped me through the entire process. Billy knew exactly the type of carpet that I would need for my new house. The carpet arrived quickly and the installers did a great job! I would definitely recommend Billy Miller and McSwains to any family/friends looking to get new carpet.

We worked with McSwain to redo our hardwood floors. The initial steps with our sales contact went very well but when the project started is when the frustration began. The installers do not communicate to you or your sales rep so if they are questioning anything about the project they will leave it undone. We came back from vacation to find our project incomplete. After ripping up the carpet on our steps, they left the staples, nails, padding and glue on the back of each step as well as the landing incomplete. No one called us or emailed us to communicate the status of our project or to warn us what we were coming home to. Our project started in May and was just finalized in late July. Each phase is handled by a different contractor so it took forever to complete the errors that they originally missed the first time around and costs us additional money due to their mistakes and oversight. The stain was applied in a sloppy manner to the steps. It was all over the white wood trim and the base of the stairs balusters. We had to pay a painter to come in and fix our steps and woodwork. The process was long, painful and frustrating.

10 weeks later and floors still aren’t finished. Not even close.These guys are are idiots. There is a total lack of communication between the sales guy, the install guy, the sand and stain guy, the trim guy. Now 12 weeks now and they still haven’t finished. They have discounted my job a little and realizing that they aren’t getting paid any additional $... they have totally shut down.Don’t Use this company.

I needed quick turn around on a project and McSwain came through. There was a small issue when the thought they had something in the warehouse that they really didnt. They were right on top of mistake, took measures to make it right, and were still able to finish the project on time. Not everything can go perfectly all time and I appreciated their efforts to make sure I got what I needed. Oh, the carpet looks great and the installation teams were super nice and cleaned up the work area.

Absolutely LOVE our carpet. Billy Miller was easy to work with and super knowledgeable and we couldn’t be happier with the feel and color. The installation guys were super fast and did a wonderful job! We will be back for the rest of our house!!!

I had McSwain flooring do work on hardwood floors 20 years ago and 3 weeks ago. Same result. Fantastic flooring and a fantastic job!!! No problems and I’m happy!!!!
