I have been in a fair amount of Plante fitness locations, and to be honest. This particular one is by far the cleanest, and the best layout.

I don’t normally write bad reviews but I wanted to let others know about this experience I’ve had here this summer. Guy who was at front desk which I will mention a name ALEX was so rude!! There was a guy who came in before me who trying to start a membership there and he was giving the guy such a hard time for absolutely no reason. So unfriendly and SO BOTHERED by any simple question asked by the guy. I got so aggravated watching I wanted to walk right out but instead waited to ask a question as well to see the answer I would get. I as a white man was treated much more respect .. how disgusting. Who would want to be surrounded by disrespectful workers just to workout? So uncomfortable, especially for the black community. I left and cancelled my membership right away.

This facility does not socially distance. A lot of students from the college come in without masks. They crowd near other peoples machines and workout spaces chatting. I am high risk and my doctor told me exercising my heart would be good for me. I do not feel safe with the younger people that come here, and the crowds they form around machines hanging out.

They promote 24/7 fitness but they randomly close and don’t even post on the door when they’ll reopen. I go early mournings before work I was there today 7-12-21 at 4am no lights no signs. Maybe they should post on their fb if they are not opening before people get out of bed and waste there time and gas to run there for nothing. Very unprofessional!

Very friendly place the staff is just so welcoming and knowledgeable cant wait to start my membership.

Compared to other gyms, it has a wider variety of machines/equipment at a lower cost. Clean, well maintained. Mostly employed by young college aged staff. The place is tailored for the average person who would like to workout without the feeling of inadequacy. It isnt the best place for people who wish to be competitive or very serious in their workouts, but those people arent left many other choices. Would be 4 stars if they offered the Core Power Elite protein shakes.

Super arrogant worker kid, Alex. Bf and I witnessed him treating multiple people with disrespect,.. very uncomfortable do not want to go here anymore!

Affordable and lots of equipment. Worst part is a lot of younger people who arent considerate of others. Theyll use 2 pieces of equipment at the same time instead of finishing on one machine and moving to the next. So when its busy youll be waiting an hour to use something due to rude inconsiderate people.

Very nice gym, basically brand new and never crowded. The staff are all very friendly and helpful as well :). I do wish they had an actual bench press instead of just the smith machines, but itll do.

Gets busy and fills up quick when it does.Some of the treadmills are old and squeal.I usually run into one or two empty towel or hand sanitizer dispensers per visit.. and the mens room gets a bit nasty.I see half or more of the members without masks (apparently the staff arent allowed to correct this).A few times Ive seen masked elderly people trying to mindfully get around groups of heavy mouth-breathers occupying common spaces.Mask usage seems to be optional. The gym seems to be more interested in keeping business. I would think a Fitness club would be more interested in focusing on prevention, Health, and Wellness. It really doesnt seem courteous to some of the more vulnerable members.

Great place to get a workout in any time around my work schedule. Nice atmosphere, nobody is pressuring you or judging you. Plenty of equipment...lots of machines and free weights. I do wish they had another squat rack or three as those can get tied up for a while during peak hours. But overall an awesome gym...very convenient location too right outside of town.

Been to a few now. None have been the same. Minus the ppl dont talk willingly. More of a force. No critics. Not no talking geez.. Ppl seem really in their feelings here. Women are beautifully stronger than me. So.. Boom. Got some muscle geeks. Nice n clean . master the walk..

Been a member for almost 2 years now, Ive been to a fair amount of Planet Fitness establishments over the years and this one by far has one of the biggest collections of equipment and amount of space to workout in, not to mention the massage chairs and lounge for Black Card members, highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a new location to workout at.

Ive been going to this location since it opened. Great place to workout. Nice equipment. They have gone through many employees since they opened a couple years ago and most of them are (in my opinion) not the friendliest. The recent ones seem pretty nice though.

Nice place. Theyve got just about everything you need. 10 dollars a month.. not busy after midnight. Its nice. Worth the 10 bucks if you want to work out often.

Solid local gym to go grab a workout. Plenty of free weights and machines. Wish they had a free standing squat rack though

Very clean and not crowded. Need a mask to walk in but not to work out. Showers are open too. Only open until 1 today, the 4th of July. And no nighttime hours due to Covid-19 😕

They are so welcoming and inviting. Love this place.

I hate being away from this home club when traveling! Well kept gym with an amazing staff that equates to a great environment/experience. Well worth the hr round trip commute to get my gym on! Thanks PF Team!

Upset !!! Be careful when trying to cancel membership. Letter was sent 6 months ago to cancel, but noticed in my last bank statement monthly fee was taken out. When I called PF, the rep said it was never cancelled because I did not send by certified mail, claims they do not receive mail if not certified.. Ridiculous !!! An excuse to keep billing people

Great invigorating workout!

Great place. Pricing is high just to work out tho.

Stopped in from out of town and of course left my key tag in another state. The staff was helpful and called my home club and got me set up for the week. The place is very clean and the staff was cleaning deeply each time i was in.(3x) The total body enhancement could use a chair and more hooks. otherwise no complaints.

This could be the best Planet Fitness of the 20+ Ive been to in the greater mid Atlantic area. Its big, well lit and equipment is properly spaced. The place is kept so clean, I thought they might have just opened. I wish my home PF was half as nice as this one.

I’m finally back to working out after a 6/7 year time away to get my education and job. This Planet Fitness so far is the best, it’s super clean in ALL aspects from the main work out room, Black Card area and equipment, and the Men’s locker.I hope this continues as long as I’m here. The staff was friendly and helpful getting me aclimiated, love working out here thus far. As far as the cry babies regarding cost, if you read things before singing and agreeing it’s clearly outlined the expectations, and you catch more flies with honey, be nice and respectful to the staff and people there and I guarantee you’ll get it back! Keep up the good work Planet Fitness and don’t get lax in keeping a tight ship running and more 5 star reviews will follow suit! 👍🏻

Very clean facility, first one where I saw workers clean the mirrors. Awesome PF 360 area and the machines elsewhere are well spaced and maintained. Also, tiled showers and curtains are cloth which is nice. Literally the only thing they can change is adding trash cans to the women’s changing room. Good job guys.

Apparently at planet fitness no money down means they charge you the $40 two months later and no commitment means a 12 month contract. Staff at desk seems ill-equipped to correctly convey details of the contract prior to signing. Dont believe the coupon.Update: Finally cancelled this contract. Thank God I can stop paying $10 a month when I was really using my Beachbody on demand at home for the past year. And to think, all I wanted initially was to take a couple classes with my friends.

Jus went in to sign my high school aged son up for the teen summer program thats free. Staff very attentive and knowledgeable. Very friendly. Place seemed nice and clean from what I could see.

Great equipment, nice facility, most unfriendly staff I have ever dealt with in my 30 plus years of working out in a fitness facility. Could not be bothered to be asked a question, say hello. Also, they leave the desk as you walk in to give them your key car for check in. Again, could not be bothered to look up and acknowledge you.

Awesome everytime

I love working out there. Its clean and well taken care of. The unfortunate thing is that the employees dont tell people about talking on their phones while on the equipment, dropping weights or not wiping the equipment down (i.e. theyre not enforcing the rules).

I absolutely love it here. Its always Clean. The people are always nice. This is a no pressure atmosphere and zero intimidation. There is something for everyone

As far as planet is concerned! This one takes the win! They have a lot of equipment that I havent seen in other planet fitnes gym! They have TRX, Kettles and some free weights! Was impressed.

Works out great when i actually go, but it has been a while. hard to find time. but the equipment is great, staff are very useful.

Absolutely horrible experience!!!! Was there Tuesday 25 September and went to shower at 815am. 2 females changing shower curtains in male locker room at this time. REALLY???? Not only did they have male staff present but why would you change them at a peak time??? When I voiced my opinion and told the male staff at the front desk he said....I dont see what the problem is..I told him I wanted to speak with the manager and he said....shes over on the elliptical working out... I wouldnt bother her if I was you....REALLY????? Am currently trying to get owners phone number so I can make him aware of situation..... update on horrible experience... The manager called to tell me my membership was canceled... She emailed me the cancellation form calling me a lunk... The signature that I was supposed to sign on the cancellation form... She signed... And she put... Lunk. This is the professionalism that you would expect from a manager? She needs to be fired. Have a meeting on Monday with a reporter from a local newspaper who wants to do a story on this...
