I asked for ombré nails, got this! The guy who did my nails was training with limited supervision and had to get touched up twice during the process as he asked questions throughout the whole process. I didn’t want to make a scene in front of other customers and when I called, the owner was not apologetic, rather he told me I should’ve said something right then and there. Although I should’ve said something, he should’ve been more apologetic about me leaving with WET nails that look like this. It was also $78, this was not mentioned or listed on their site.

This place was slightly more pricey than I expected, but the results and experience was worth it! Small, but clean. The techs (or maybe the were the owners) were so sweet and friendly, took the picture of what I wanted and gave me options based on what they had available. The quality of my nails is some of the best I have ever had. The gentleman who did mine was gentle, we chatted and laughed and it was a wonderful experience! No feeling of being rushed, just welcomed and taken care of. 10/10 would recommend, and will be coming back !

Been trying to find a nail place in Btown that will treat my nails as if they are their own, and this is the one. I booked an apt with An because a lot of the reviews suggested her. I’m so glad I did! She is so attentive and makes sure you like what she’s doing every step of the way. I actually really appreciate the fact that I had to make an appointment and I was the only person in the salon being taken care of. Other places I’ve been have felt like they were in a rush to get to the next customer and I don’t like that. Anyway, the pic with the butterflies is the inspiration I showed An, but since they didn’t have butterflies, we did it without, so the results are in the picture without the butterflies. I absolutely love them and I will definitely be coming back to see An!

Clean, safe, sanitary. Friendly and relaxed environment. Great color selection, and sterile pedicure technique. Nguyen and Amy are great! Price list is comparable to other nail salons in town. You have to scroll down on their web page to see it. ;)

We were there for for a bridal party. They were efficient very nice.We were all happy with our nails. The shop was clean. It was a good experience.

After trying many Nail Salons in Bloomington, Nex Gen is by far the best nail experience I have ever had. It’s the people that make it the difference! They are so personable, and do a wonderful job communicating with you throughout your manicure to make sure you are getting exactly what you had envisioned. I do pay more here than I have at other salons, but the quality and customer service here is so far superior to others that I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else.Thank you, Nex Gen!!

Posting under a fake name because clearly the owner is crazy and looks up the names of his customers to berate them for not liking his business.So very unprofessional. Went there multiple times because I heard good thing and wanted to give it a chance. It seems they’ve had a lot of turn over. However every time I went the owner was always very rude. I finally got tired of poor quality nails and being treated poorly. It was to no surprise when i heard from a friend that the owner was on google review responding to customers with hateful and disgusting comments.I hope you learn to be a nicer individual and grow a business people go to because they enjoy the technician and the work.

They may be small, but dont let that deter you! They did an absolute gem of a job on my nails, Im completely in love! Very nice people, they really care about their customers.

I get my nails done every two weeks but not this time. I chose this establishment because I wanted to get in quickly, which I did. I was the only one in the salon and got really good care by the nail tech and who I believe to be the owner. We were chatting and it was nice. I was done and walked up to the register and was hit with a $60 charge for a fill, they charged me $21 for gel alone. Like I said I get my nails done frequently and have NEVER been charged $21 for gel & it wasnt even high end it was the same brands they have at any other salon. I was so blindsided as I assumed like anywhere else it would have been roughly $35-40 for a fill with gel. The price is not the biggest issue, it is the condition of the nails. It has been three days since I got them done and almost every nail is peeling and look terrible. I am so upset that I paid that much for something that is getting caught in everything and peeling up more and more every day. I will be sticking with my usual nail techs.

Came in for the first time for pedis and they were wonderful! Very accommodating when there was a wait and we ended up getting manicures too. Cant wait to come back

My daughter, who is an IU student had an appt yesterday for a fill. She was told that it would be a 15 min wait, but it was actually 30 min. She didn’t see a price list, but she’s had acrylic nails for a while and I’ve had them for 10 years, so she knows the general cost, understanding that the price can fluctuate a few dollars. When she went to pay, she was told that her bill was $70.00!! We’re from the Chicago area and have never paid close to that amount for a no chip fill! It’s truly shameful that they’re charging college students that amount of money for a fill! She sent me a picture of her nails and they look terrible!! For that amount of money they should be spectacular...instead of looking like the work of an inexperienced nail tech. In the future, she will be looking for a student friendly salon who doesn’t rip off students and does good work!

So i ask for special nail tweezer for cut my grandfather nails and saffron nail polish to paint his nail but the nyugen one say yes to me and make give good reason to me. Pretty little shop, nice and clean, the owners are very sweet. I had a FLAWLESS dip, which included a mini manicure of sorts. Just be ready for it be a little pricier. But well worth it!

I loved my first visit here. They got me in super quick without an appointment, and the woman who worked on my nails was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, end politely conversational. I loved getting to know her and learn about her business!The salon itself is bright, clean, and relaxing. The best part is that there is absolutely no chemical smell that’s typical with nail salons. I will definitely be back!

This was by far the worst full set of acrylic nails Ive ever gotten. The pictures on here are deceiving. My nails are uneven and the paint job was awful and sloppy. The acrylic is all over my skin and my nails hurt because of how sloppy they are. I had to go home and file them to make them look somewhat decent. When they checked to see if my nails were dry they smudged the paint and didn’t even fix it. Worst experience ever!!!! DON’T GO HERE!

I’ve only had them for a week and a half and there’s already lifting. The line work and filling on them is also not great. You can see where the acrylic was laid. Definitely not worth the $60+I paid for them.

Fast, friendly service. Open on Sunday! Prices run about normal with most salons. Acrylics, artificial, SNS, gel and OPI are offered. I had my dip polish removed, a regular Mani with OPI polish to replace it, dried and out in an hour or so. Salon was clean, bright and welcoming.

Never been but I saw the reddit post, some of the reviews are just idiotic people unable to read a price list, company doesnt deserve a lower rating due to people being thick.

I got an acrylic fill here, was charged $75 for an average at best set of nails. any other place I would’ve gone would have only charged me around 40 or $50 and I have been getting my nails done long enough to know the value of a full set. Very upset with lack of communication of pricing. Had to pay for shapes, gel polish, fill, gel removal, and design all separately; I have never had to do this before. Average set, but extremely overpriced.

This was by far the worst nail salon I have ever been to. The woman who done my nails did not do them correctly. The acrylic didnt even go down to the end of my nail, she didnt cut my cuticles & its been a week & already 2 have fallen off. She charged me 100$ for these trash nails!!! Would absolutely NEVER reccomend. Save your money. & your time.

The service was great and very friendly, but I was absolutely overcharged. I paid $53 for a gel fill. Since when is coffin a “special shape” that costs $7?

The new salon is so clean, comfy, and well lit inside; I love it! The free parking was a nice perk too. An has been doing my pedicures and gel manicures for the past four years and I have never been disappointed by her attention to detail; she does great work! I highly recommend Nails by An!

I’ve been to a lot of nail salons here in Bton and elsewhere. AN does the best manicure i’ve ever had. she does not rush or skip steps. I’ve finally found my nails‘ forever home!

I haven’t had a pedicure or manicure in a while, so I wasn’t sure what I was getting into when I decided to stop by the salon. An and her husband were fabulous and very accommodating, and I will be going back whenever I have spare time.

Pleasant, quiet atmosphere. Dipping powder application was perfecr. Pedicure cleanliness impressed me. They utilize plastic liner, autoclave tools .
