My book has been finished. We are currently in the advertising/promotion stage. I have a few issues, but I am waiting to see how the entire experience ends. However, to date, I can applaud the support of Reg Brown, Dan Thompson. Ill revisit the review section after all purchased services have been completed. I pray that I will not be disappointed. I published my second book with Author House and enjoyed working with them. In all stages of publication, they all acted so professionally, prompt and efficiently. I am glad I chose AH and I will do it again. After publication, the publishing consultant is very helpful to assist me and will respond to my question promptly.

Okay, the book took place and the job was done eventually. Yes, it was expensive; yes, it took some time to get right, but with continual effort it was made fine and I mean effort. I wanted to go with a new online publishing company for the fresh impulse of the internet nonetheless, but also for the independent growth and prosperity of a company weather good or not, because I believe my work is good and will move forward! I do not like dealing with people overseas about revenue with a book this personal and my sales report has not come back in true detail about the books sales that my family and friend bought and were anticipating in when released, but it has just been revised and I will be going onto advertisement joyfully next. The online bookstore was not very user friendly nor does it have many selections on a single page as amazon, the cost of multi-revising a books structure was a bit much, the sizing and structure of the books submission not being advised created errors in the text and the promotional material was not in great detail, but the correlations with staff and facility were adapt and prompt and efficient.

Charge my friends too much to publish their work. $1600 to be published? Really?!? Cost me $7.70 wholesale for just one 208 page that is 6 x 9

Author House has published four of my books and has done a good job with them.

I wish I could leave no stars. My experience with Author House has been the worst experience I have ever had with a business.GO WITH ANY OTHER PUBLISHER.I dont know if they really have a location in Indiana, but you will be dealing with about 10 different women in the Philippines if you choose to go with them. ----YES, the people editing your book speak English as a second language. AMAZING.---- Anything save a buck I guess. I will say the women in the Philippines were actually the only people I dealt with at this company that seemed like half way decent people. The rest gave me the impression of high pressure salesman/sleazeballs. I dont know if they are or not...but that is how I truly feel. It is just my personal opinion I felt the need to share.I really cant describe my disgust for this company. I am considering having my lawyer look into if they are in fact breaking international labor laws. It is that bad.RUN RUN RUN AWAY from this company. THEY ARE TERRIBLE. This is my honest review of the company. Just trying to save the next unsuspecting first time author from going through what I just went through. You would have to be a first time author...because once you try them once, you will never go back either!I really hate leaving bad reviews, but I felt this was absolutely necessary. I hope it saves at least one person from my pain.Oh yeah...my mom had already signed with them before all this happened. She would tell you the exact same thing as she is moving further along in the process with Author House trying to publish her first book.Verdict = 0 STARS and a F+ Rating from me.I tried to leave a review on Facebook before Google...but they have Facebook reviews disabled on their page. Go figure!

This company and all others behind it. Are here to scam you. These people dont care about you. Some of their own employees are in different countries working at home. Like Cebu city in the Philippines. Do not fall for the schemes even their own Youtube videos are lies with the American actors playing the part of trying to get you to buy the product by buttering you up. If you are an author, DO NOT publish through authorhouse!I’ve written four books on Mental Toughness and before I knew what I was doing, I went through Authorhouse. Thank God, I still keep all copyright information because I am publishing the same book again on my own.You’ll pay tons of money for services that you can do on your own with just a little bit of time & guidance.You’ll pay 4x as much for copies of your own book as you would doing it on your own through createspace, etc.Best,Rob
