We have used Fertilawn for 11 years. They do our organic fertilizing, spot weeding, and organic aeration/soil building. Our lawn is old--like 50+ years old and yet it is the nicest in our neighborhood, always a lush green. Organic is important to us and we also like that Fertilawn always makes sure that the tiny organic fertilizer pellets get blown from our sidewalks and driveway back onto the lawn when they are finished with an application. They also give us a call to let us know when they will be coming to do an application. Their new organic aeration, which does not involve pulling plugs from the lawn, is really effective. We formerly used Trugreen but much prefer Fertilawn and we highly recommend them.

If you like to support a smaller business with very professional and responsive staff to handle any questions or concerns that you have regarding your lawn, this is a company you will want to employ. Prices are fair, service is excellent and I think they do a better job than some of the bigger companies. I love the fact that I am texted the day before I am to receive service so that if I will not be home to share any questions or concerns with Ryan, our technician, I can reach out by email or phone. Today on December 18th, my lawn is incredibly green . I love their new aeration program it made my lawn look incredibly nice this year. I will continue to use them while needing lawn service.

Fertilawn has always done a great job for us! I was home when the technician was here and I watched from our living room window. He didnt know I was watching. I have had this lawn service for 2 years. I had them fertilize and aerate my 1/2 acre lawn. They have always been very accommodating with special requests, etc. I also had their landscaping service do some grading, hauling in black dirt and seeding in areas where I had some trees removed and they did a good job with that also.

Last summer was my first season using Fertilawn. I had multiple people comment on how good my lawn looked. I was very satisfied with the service I received. I will be using them again for sure.

Not a customer facing organization.If I could put 0 I would - terrible service, incompetent, buyer be warn - they will do something incorrect, wont own and and will not fix it.They will not come out and work with you face to face even when they were in the wrong. They would rather sit at their computer and send you multiple emails.I feel sorry for them when so many small business do the right thing for there customer and they would rather write a rant. Sad.

In recent years my previous lawn service just wasnt getting the job of controlling dandelions in our yard. Each year they got worse and worse and we finally had to part ways. After a recommendation by my neighbor and the appearance of her well kept lawn we decided to go with Fertilawn. After one year of service this is the first year that we have not spotted one dandelion in our yard. Thank you Fertilawn for such great service and attention to details.

I am very satisfied with the communication, James in the office has always been great to answer all my questions and take the time to return my calls promptly and never tries to rush me off of the phone. I used Trugreen previously and their service and communication was terrible, they couldnt do anything right! Fertillawn blows the big companies out of the water with their services and one on one communications. I am all about QUALITY and with Fertilawn I never have to check their work they always do a great job when they come out to do their services. I know when Fertilawn comes out the job is done right! This company, though it’s small family owned, is just what my family needed. They truly make you feel like part of the family. Customer service is a huge plus! We’ve had them maintain our lawn for the last couple years and have had no issues. Also very honest about their service. If my lawn during the hottest part of the summer doesn’t need cutting, due to lack of growth, a crew member will either call me or knock on my door to let me know. So many other company’s I’ve had will just mow any way causing my lawn to dry up and get crispy. In some worst cases, other companies have not mowed my lawn and just charge me any way. This company is definitely 5 out of 5 stars for honesty and making my lawn look great each year.

Fertilawn built us a great retaining wall, paver patio, and gave our landscaping a much needed update. Our lawn looks great too.

Careful, if you sign up this is a forever contract not just for one year. They will show up the following spring and you will have to pay for it.They burnt my grass in multiple locations with the spring application and did not even address this problem when I called. Now I get to re-seed my bare spots and pay for it.

I prepaid for service in February and I have not seen or heard from them. I’m getting a refund! They should have been out weeks ago.

We had some landscaping done this past summer. They put in a paver patio in our backyard along with some plants/shrubs and it looks great. The price was on the higher side but fair. Now we use them for plowing our driveway. I think they switch their routes because sometimes we are done right away and sometimes it takes a few hours but they do a good job for a small business.

I am a tenant - these guys showed up without MY permission or notice from a landlord and sprayed pesticide all over three bags worth of new grass seed we put down the night before, killing the seed before it had a chance to germinate. So much for their claims of customized lawn analysis. Apparently, their analysis missed huge bare patches of dirt covered in new grass seed visible with a naked eye. Didnt even stop and think about whether spraying pesticide on new grass seed is a good idea; didnt even knock on the door and ask if it is ok to come onto the property. Will not return phone calls. Just awful.
