My father sees Dr Danielle Beer at OSF Orthopedics. He has dementia and a slight learning disability which sometimes makes it hard to communicate effectively with him. Dr Beer and the staff at OSF Orthopedics were amazing with him. They were patient with him, listened to all of his stories, and the level of care he received was great. He cant stop talking about how nice Dr Beer is and how great all the staff was to him. Thank you so much for taking such great care of him.
Alicia L Meinert is the most disrespectful person I have ever met. DO NOT GO TO HER.
Absolutely GREAT COMPASSIONATE care. Dr. Galue, Dr Tharp have been my heroes in this time of turmoil.
I just want to take a minute to thank the osf medical group team. I was there today and I love love love all the team players. My dr is galue but I usually see nurse practitioners. I can not say enough about carey harris. she is the most caring, funny and takes her time to answer any and every question you may have but today I saw lynsey orteo or something like that and caries personality shines in her as well. They are the best group of people. I would recommend them if your looking for a dr cuz I promise you will love them as much as me.i dont know if they will see this but I hope they will. Thank you guys so much.
Got right in & David Freeman is awesome therapist. Love his honesty & thorough explanation.
Been waiting nearly a week for a prescription refill. When I called back to check on it, Dina in the office refuses to help and threatens to have a disabled person barred from the office if her unprofessionalism and lack of job performance are reported to superiors. OSF has gone so far downhill its disgusting.
Im giving 5 stars because I have had great experiences here for the last 5-6 years. Dr. Halperin, Dr. Kumar, and Dr. Duncan (no longer with them) are GREAT. The wound clinic, labs, radiology and orthopedics are also good here. That said there are some Doctors here I have had problems with, bad problems. That was before I switched to Dr. Duncan. So just keep on your toes with Doctors always. I think of it as buying a car. It is expensive and important.
In person, the staff is great! On the phone though, RUDE! Scheduling department & prescription refill nurses especially!
My daughter injured her foot. She needed to be seen by a podiatrist. We were referred to orthopedic and sports enhancement center originally. They told me that they would have to review x-rays then call me back to schedule an appointment. I called back the next day and they didnt answer so I left a message. Eventually I got tired of waiting and called around. OSF podiatry got us in the same day. The staff was friendly and took the time to explain things to us. The only minor problem I had was that they were supposed to fax the school my daughters medical information. I had to call them back to get them to do so but then it was done right away. Overall it was a good experience. (Orthopedic and sports enhancement center NEVER called me back, its been over a week also! Avoid wasting your time with them!)
Some of the nurses are rude and very little are decent. I cant believe that if they just want me to go to prompt care if they cant fit me in within two days. It took me almost three months to see an actual doctor, not a nurse practitioner who gave me medications that only worked for a couple of months and then stopped working! The MOAs go so fast on their vital sign checking that I am not sure that they are correct. This place is not reassuring at all or else, very little reassurance!
Care, personel, etc. are superb, but one thing disturbs me. When i recently requested a transfer of my medical records, from i believe college ave., the message states instructions and then she states she shall take care of it at HER EARLIEST CONVENIENCE! That message is unprofessional to say the least...and she never does leave her name.
Well glad to see I wasnt the only one. Dr. Osbourne is very rude, should not be working this profession along w some of the nurses. He calls everyone liars even if u have proof. Speaking of has anyone ever heard a bladder cancer tumor growing overnight?
They lied to me repeatedly. Told me a doc was taking new customers, but couldnt see me til December. Forced me into appointment with nurse practitioner, still wait 3 weeks. I fax in my ins info when I make appt. Show up 3 weeks later and lied to again, that they cant help me with my Blue Cross/Blue Shield Blue Precision HMO. The truth is I only have to request switching primary care, my insurance is GOOD at OSF !! Besides which, its their mistake for not checking my info when I faxed it. I still have to pay $655/mo insurance FOR WHAT ??! To make appointments and be turned away ? I walk into this multi-million dollar complex built off poor saps like me and our money and am made to stand and wait while they phone insurance company like a prisoner being checked out if I qualify for family visit or something. I see where a good chunk of my money goes, to pay for 4 people to be on the phone with insurance company all day and the people on the other end of the line to treat me poorly and deny me service I desperately need. Thanks for nothing OSF.
All of the medical staff I have met there really care about their patients.
I had a great experience here and the staff were quick and attentive
Everyone is sooo nice here. Very clean. And not long waiting time at all
I used to work there.
Many of the Drs provide excellent care at this location. Dr. Kumar has been wonderful in treating my sister-in-law for diabetes. My daughter has been treated by Dr. Soneyink concerning a podiatry issue. He was patient, kind and the treatment was a success! Dr. Tolentio treated my husband in an emergency, his staff and PA were kind, supportive and always available when we had concerns as we went thru treatment. I have been seen at the Prompt Care, it was quick and that was extremely helpful at the time.
Dr. Osborne was straight and to the point. He had wonderful bedside manners.
They constantly make follow up appointments then ask why you came in the day of the visit. Ive wasted alot of my time here waiting. Your doctor constantly moves and they tell you to go to another window. Very poor service and care.
Great
