Had gaming computers worked on at the Bloomington location. They kept me updated through the process and handled everything I asked for to make sure the computers were all good to go. I understood that the process would take a little while with everything taking longer these days because of parts supplies, etc. But, they kept me informed and got the work done when promised even though they are short handed. Takes some effort getting an appointment set up to talk to one of the techs at the store, but once you do, it is worth it. Luke was extremely helpful specifically.
You have to call a million time to speak with someone just get put on hold again and then hung up on BOOOOOOOOO👎
I have been a customer of Geek Squad for many years and have had great service for cleaning up my computer. It saved me from having to take it to a store for work. However, after this last service (total of 7 calls) I am very disappointed in the service I received! Evidently, when they backed up my hard drive there was a major mishap. They did not reload Outlook that contained all my contacts or the notes that went with the contacts. They did get Outlook reinstalled after going through my Xfinity account. I realized then that the contacts were not there. Another call--they found the contacts but could only give them to me in an Excel spreadsheet meaning I have to reenter each one, and most horrific--none of the notes are available! Also, I was not sent an evaluation after any of the 7 callsI This was always a practice in all other previous service calls! I would not recommend them to anyone!
Both times I took my computer in “PS never buy a dell G3” they took it in with no problems even though I didn’t have an appointment.And to all those people that say they spent over $1,200 on repairs just spend the $100 to $200 on a warranty
I had a seemingly simple issue with my MacBook and these guys really went above and beyond. He didn’t shuffle me away when he couldn’t figure it out rite then, he took his time and fixed my issue. I then went to look at a new laptop and was greeted by an extremely friendly and helpful salesman. He wasn’t overbearing and he gave me quality information :) Great experience

After I had been scammed by an online distant tech company that spoke with a heavy Indian accent, I am delighted with Geek Squad services and prices. I still get annoying calls from that other tech outfit. I had paid over $1200 for their services and they tried to relieve me of $20,000 in my bank account while I watched online and listened to him taunt me. I have had nothing but courtesy and best of help from the Geek Squad people. The Geeks are human too, and this computer world is complicated. I can tolerate an error once in a while, especially after my other experience, provided I am treated with respect....nothing but two thumbs up for the Geek Squad from me!!!
Why do I have to make an appointment for pick up? Its my property, Id like to reserve the right to pick it up when I want even if it means standing in line. Please go back to your old ways of letting me do this.
Horrible experience. They give you a low ball estimate which will likely suck you in, then they will call you about a week later saying that the price was more than double what they told you. In addition to horrendous customer service, this place is an absolute joke.
I have given my Samsung Atmos sound bar for repair and the repair is still not complete since last 3 weeks, this experience is really frustrating because this was something that I bought just 5 months back. When the Best Buy agents sell this plan they talk a lot about the Geek Squad customer service but my overall experience has been pathetic.The customer service wait time is 26 minutes and that is also real frustrating. I am not finding any escalation for this and that’s the worst part about it. The Four Square plan that amazon or sams club sells is much better and they have good turn around time and customer service.Will never buy an expensive product from Best Buy again and will not recommend this to my friends either.
I totally believe in the level of knowledge of the staff of Geek Squad.
Terrible experience. The guy who I was dealing with blatantly told me that I dropped my laptop, he accused me of doing something I havent done. They try to make you feel terrible to discourage customers. I will never trust Geeksquad again.
In my experience, I know the Geek Squad has an agreement with the FBI to give them information that they find on your computer. Google it.
