We recently stayed here for 5 days and loved it. The cabin was beautiful. Very spacious and cozy. The area is very quite and peaceful. We really enjoyed being able to step out back and see trees as far as we could see. We will definitely be back anytime we need a escape from life. 5 stars all the way.
Absolutely stunning place. The room was clean and ready to go upon arrival. We have already talked about going back for another trip to explore the area and enjoy the scenery.
Oh my goodness we are just speechless. The cabin was amazing! It was everything we had hoped for. During our stay we celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary. It was truly amazing to be able to get away from our busy lives, and just relax, and enjoy just each other.Thank you, Thank you for having us. We definitely will be doing this again!!!
I only visited the website but looks interesting
We stayed for a long weekend in early October of 2020. Not only was it close to Nashville, but we also felt like we were a million miles away from civilization. It was absolutely gorgeous and exactly as advertised. The owners were fantastic to deal with and couldnt have been more responsive. We cant thank Back to Nature Cabins enough for sharing your rentals with the Langdon family and we cant wait to return next year.
We came here to get away for our Honeymoon & could not have been happier. Though the pictures on the website were lovely, they could not possibly do justice to the idyllic beauty of this place. Backed right up to the woods (yet somehow free of pesky bugs), these well maintained grounds took my breath away, and our room was clean, fully accommodated and absolutely perfect. Our “Quiet” room was an absolute steal for the price of $75 a night. The hospitality of our hosts, Peter & his lovely girlfriend, was far above our expectations, or anything we experienced before. They were so sweet, and truly went out of their way to make sure we had absolutely anything we needed, even recommending romantic outings that made our trip that much more perfect. We would absolutely recommend The Back To Nature Cabins to anyone, and will stay here again any chance we get. Thank you to our hosts, and their beautiful fur babies for making this a trip we will always remember.
Wow! Talk about a getaway! This is truly home away from home. Living the life! Thank you so much!
Beautiful area, very responsive staff.
Absolutely the cutest cabins ever. We rented these 2 cabins out for a couples getaway weekend and we had the time of our lives. Plenty of space each room has its own bathroom. Hot tubs at each cabin. Kitchen s nicely stocked with cooking gear and dinner plates and all. Literally couldnt have asked for anything else. So wonderful!
Stayed in the Snuggled Inn for a Xmas retreat with some friends. It was crazy cozy and had tons of room for everyone. Very quiet in the cabin. The hot tub in the winter was awesome. The owner checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed - great folks. We will be back!
5 stars all the way. Ive stayed at the Lake House and Snuggled Inn and they are both amazing. They are both well-kept and spacious. Peter is a great guy and was very accommodating. Suzanne replied to my e-mails promptly and made the process very easy. Im only renting through them in the future.
This is our second time time and both experiences have been great! Very comfy and beautiful!
We stayed in the Snuggle Inn cabin this past weekend and absolutely LOVED it! The cabin has every amenity you could possibly need and then some! (When they say fully equipped kitchen they mean it!) The layout of the 3 floors, plus each bedroom having its own bathroom gave us 3 families plenty of privacy and space to move around. The patio furniture is large and plentiful and the rocking chairs a nice bonus. The Cabin was also very clean! The reservation process through Peter was fast and efficient, and Suzanne answered all my email questions which helped me to further plan our trip. And No having to drive out of the way to an office to pick up and delivery the keys - fabulous!!We will definitely be returning to Back to Nature Cabins!
Great people, great environment, clean, I would recommend!
Had an excellent couple of days at the Snuggle Inn cabin. If you need to get away where you just want to be alone or relax, but still be close to town this is the place. 5/5
Horrible! Dirty, dirty, dirty! Dishes in the dishwasher with caked on food and mold, surfaces, drawer handles, cabinet handles, chair undersides ALL STICKY. Thread-bare sheets and stains on the mattresses. Litter outside in the yard. Disgustingly dirty grill, complete with no grill brush and an overflowing ash can. Fireplace didnt work and owners wouldnt call back when I enquired about it. The husband finally called back the next day (after much prodding) and was argumentative and condescending to me, even calling me sweetie in a sarcastic tone. We rented two cabins that totaled over $1640 for two nights. The wife offered to give me $50 off the bill in an email. What an insult, especially after they knew that the fireplace didnt work BEFORE we rented it. Not only that, but we were away from the house during the day when the husband called (and said he was actually at our cabin). Mysteriously, that night, when we got into the hot tub, the temperature wouldnt go past 92 degrees (it was 40 outside). We froze! The thermostat was behind a screw-in box and when we finally got it open, we saw that the temperature had been tampered with. It had been a perfect 102 degrees the night before...DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE. Learn from my mistake!
Beautiful
Clean, quiet, great location. Process was very easy. Recommended!
Awesome
We are from the Washington DC area and booked the Lake House to stay inbecause our daughter got married at an orchard in Bloomington and none of the condos in downtown bloomington were available. I am a city girl. I am NOT a cabin in the woods girl. BUT....this cabin was amazing. The pictures really dont do it justice, in my opinion. It was clean, beautiful, and more than suited our needs. I catered the wedding and, though Id done most of the cooking in DC and transported it, the kitchen in the cabin was a Godsend to be able to do the finishing touches. I brought much of my own equipment, but could have packed much lighter. Theres plenty there for most cooks to be able to put a meal together. I wish we had planned to stay longer to be able to really relax and enjoy the place and the surroundings. It feels superbly secluded, but you are still within about 10 minutes of suburban civilization (grocery and other shopping and restaurants) and 20-25 minutes of [the very cute] downtown Bloomington (We strongly recommend the Irish Lion restaurant on Kirkwood Avenue). There are journals on the living room table in which previous guests have written about their stays in the cabin. We enjoyed reading those the first night. We did use the hot tub, which was incredibly welcome after an 11 hour drive. We didnt get to meet Peter and Suzanne, but I spoke to Peter on the phone a couple of times and he was incredibly nice. If it werent so far away, this is a place we would ABSOLUTELY frequent.
Great place to spend time with family
So peaceful and best of all my son loved it
Sucks
Worst service ever! Had to call 7 different times to book it. Once I got a hold of someone to book, they were very rude! Dont good to these cabins!!
Inviting, cozy, very friendly manager.
