I visited the service department for to utilize a summer special coupon that was out dated. The nice thing was that the supervisor person I was working with, Jeffrey, was willing to honor it.The unfortunate part of this review may have come from 1) a lack of knowledge 2) unwillingness to help/be open to influence or 3) a bad day.Firstly, the feature differences between the coupon and a 45k mile maintenance service could NOT be explained to me even after I asked for clarification 3 times.Secondly, I felt pressured to make immediate decisions when it came to choosing new tires to potentially upgrade too. I asked for up to 10 minutes to make a decision and that appeared to be annoying for the person helping me.Upon reaching a decision within 10 minutes, I went to the person helping me and said I will not be upgrading tires here because I set up an appointment to upgrade tires at Discount Tires. Jeffrey respectfully challenged and questioned my decision to choose to get tires elsewhere but stopped after 3 questions.45 minutes later, all service was done on my car and I left to go to Discount Tire.I am giving two stars for my review because after reflecting on my 3+ visits here. I generally do not feel seen, valued, or heard when I come in for services. The exception is for Adrian which is the person I remember helping me in previous service appointments and I hold in high regard for how he treated me.My hope is that the service team has some better days, become customer obsessed, better explain why services are needed, and better guide customers to make the best decision for themselves on any services.At the time of writing, I firmly believe that if you bring your business here, you can expect to get service but not helped.
I really liked getting my oil changed on my three Kias but for the past two attempted oil changes I wasnt able get through to the service department. There is a person who answers the phone but she isnt able to schedule service; just direct the call. Ive stayed on hold for 10 minutes more than once. They have a call back option but it only worked once and it was 45 minutes later and I couldnt answer the phone.I dont want to schedule online because there are no prices. Ive moved to an oil change place now. At least I can call and find out a current price and coupons.Ill still go there for my scheduled maintenance but I might just drive to the shop to schedule. It takes less time to drive and wait in line than it does to call and hope there is a call back.
I got my car towed to this location because I usually go there, I called the next day and the guy that answered the phone his name is Spencer I believe was rude towards me. First, he said they won’t be able to get my car looked at because they are backed up and when they do diagnose my car it’ll cost me $180 . I was trying to explain it to him, but he was so rude and said you can get it towed then! Minding you, I was already stressed out about my car breaking down on me. I will never purchase KIA’s ever again!! nor go to this location. I ended up getting my car towed to another location,after it has been sitting at Kia’s parking lot for three days.Such a bad experience!!! And honestly I wouldn’t recommend kias their horrible
My visit didnt go without a hiccup, but it was clear, through multiple people that they wanted to do everything possible to make sure I was happy.
Chris Stelljes provided excellent customer service! Would recommend using Chris and the dealership if you’re looking for a KIA.
They care. Straight up panic over an old enough Kia still under the power train warranty with little faith the warranty claim would work out- Jeff from Luther straight up talked me off a ledge. The team kept me posted and attended to other service needs on the vehicle too. In the end, our warranty claim was successfully processed too. This team is faithful to the brand and to their trust placed in their dealership. This vehicle wasn’t even bought from them and they were indifferent to this. Luther has my business.
