I took my car here to have some rust repaired on my lift gate. After driving it home I noticed that there were scratch marks that weren’t smoothed out before painting, along with some sort of sand/dirt all over my trunk.When I went back to show the manager, Ryon Brody, he acknowledged the flaws in their work, but then proceeded to try and down play it by saying…- “only 1 out of a million people would notice that”- “why do you care about the scratches?”- “it’s a body shop, what do you expect?”I took my car to a body shop to fix a flaw, not to fix one flaw while causing a different one. Personally I work at a body shop myself, (only took it here because of warranty) so I know it’s not hard to smooth out scratch marks before painting. In the event that we did not sand out the scratches, and the car was delivered to the customer, we definitely would not argue or hassle over fixing our mistake.After a couple visits and phone calls later, the general manager, Mark Wall, finally agreed to fix the flaws in their work.After picking my car back up, the repaired spot was done right, no scratches under the base coat and overall looked great. I was however disappointed to notice lots of scuff marks all over the rear of my car along with a nice scratch on my rear glass. And lastly the sand/dirt aftermath of the repair, that they agreed was unprofessional to leave in the car, was very poorly vacuumed. I took video of the whole car before I dropped it off for the second time, I can easily see that the rear glass was not scratched prior to dropping off, the scuffs are too slight for the camera to pick up, but easily noticed in person.I have access to a vacuum along with the capability to buff out the scuffs on the rear of my vehicle, so I’m not mad, just surprised and dissatisfied with the lack of care that was used with my vehicle. As for the scratch in my rear glass, the managers at this Luther location have made it clear that customer service is far from a priority, and I’m done spending my time arguing with them. The only pleasant encounters during this whole process were with the receptionist, Taylor I believe, and with a service advisor from Luthers dealership, who called to ask how my repair went.In the unfortunate event that my car requires work again, and I’m not able to have my shop fix it, I will be taking my business to another shop, one with a higher standard for initial quality of work and customer service.

The people at Luther were open, honest and extremely helpful. They also did a stellar job on fixing my truck. They stayed in constant contact, answered any questions I had, and kept me up to date continuously communicating with me. It was a refreshing experience, in which they treated me like a real person. Brian and Ryon were so great to work with! Hopefully I won’t need to return to a body shop, but if I do, I know where I’m going to send my truck. Thank you to the staff of Luther Bloomington, you did a FANTASTIC job!!!

Mike and team at Luther collision get an A+ from me! I was involved in a minor accident by fault of another driver and what a hassle having to deal with insurance and reimbursement, it felt like it was never going to end. But from the second I handed my keys over to Mike and team to fix the damage- they were quick, efficient and had open communication with me from start to finish. They also coordinated everything with my rental vehicle to make it a quick and easy pick up/ drop off process. The staff I encountered were very friendly and professional wether it was talking on the phone, text, email or in person. My vehicle looks as good as new and the best part? They vacuumed the inside of my car and gave me a car wash- just as a courtesy! You can tell they take pride in their work and go the extra mile to make customers happy. Hopefully I will not find myself in this same pickle, but if I do, I know who to trust with the collision repairs.

I brought my SUV in for a ding repair - they did it in the promised amount of time and it looks like new! The added perk here was that they basically detailed my entire car, inside and out, and it is so shiny and like new again, too - that was a real treat. Great job, kind people.

Took my daughter to pick up her vehicle after they repaired it after an accident. They replaced with some new parts, after market & used parts to the tune of over $9000.00. Wasnt too impressed when one headlight was suppose to be new yet had cobwebs you can see when the headlights are on. The other headlight was used...that had scratches on the lens & a glaze on the lens. I wasnt happy with that at all. Neither was my daughter.. Some other issues with some of the other parts & their painting of some parts. It was suppose to be done in 2 weeks but it took a little over 3 weeks because they said they were waiting for some parts. It could have been worse but it also could have been better.

Hi everyone, my vehicle suffered two gunshots three moths after I purchased the brand new VW certified Jetta 2019 R-line. It took the body shop six weeks to fix the driver door, driver seat, airbag, tail light, fuel tank with $8300 cost.I only rode the vehicle for 20 miles after the work is done, but superficially, the mechanicians did a fine job on the technical work, which is where my three stars originate.They missed two stars due to1. the dreadful post-service attitude from the manager2. the grubby interior finish (painting smell, heavy dust on the back seat, but they wiped it off after I requested)3. missing car key in the key fob. (I had to deal with it myself with the help from my dealership)Suggestions for the owner if I may:1. Improve the customer service training for the managers and representatives. I believe an appropriate mentality to face customer issues is the willingness to listen and try to sort our some potential solutions instead of denial at the first place, because for a decent amount of people, problem solving and safety overweigh their money.2. Invest on the post-repair cleaning. I believe the owners of those brand new vehicles would feel unpleasant if they have to wipe off interior dust and remove strong chemical scent everytime they come back from a body shop.3. Improve the transition when the direct rep is on vacation and ensure a smooth delivery to customers. It is likely other reps have few incentives to deal with indirect cases but I believe customers do not want to wait either until the direct rep is back from vacation.

Our brand new company owned pick up truck got damaged during a snow storm and the results were not pretty. Tom did a wonderful job making it new again. When we picked it up and brought it back to work, the other employees could not believe how good the results were and that you would never guess it was damaged at all. Blown away. I got rear ended on an icy road and got estimates from a few local companies. Luther’s estimate was so quick and easy, they got me into the schedule within a couple days, and they coordinated with insurance and a rental car company. I got regular updates from Brian and always dealt with a real person, no computer estimates or automated messages. My car was done way earlier than expected and it was amazingly clean inside and out which I did not expect. 😅 I will recommend this place to anyone. I don’t know if I’ve ever written a review before but this was worth it, seriously.

The whole process was seamless and painless. Estimate was quickly executed and repair scheduled at the same time, including arranging for a rental car. The estimate was within $50 of a second shop, but Luthers location was more convenient for me, and the adjuster said, Go with what works best for you. They both do great work. Ryon kept me updated on progress at every step, which was very much appreciated. Best of all, the repair was good as new and the car came back better than prior to the damage by a hit-and-runner. Car cleaned inside and out (even husky dog fur removed!) tires Armor-Alld, spotless and ready to roll. Would gladly go back should the need ever arise (and hopefully it wont). Nice work everyone!!

They made the process very easy. The estimate given was the exact amount paid. They scheduled my rental car and the car was there when I was ready to drop off my car. I dropped the rental off with them and they took care of the rest. My back bumper looks great now! I can see why it is a month out when you book an appointment.

I had brought my vehicle in to the next door dealership for what originally was thought to be a service issue. After borrowing a vehicle for two days only to learn my vehicle had actually been involved in a hit and run, you can imagine my disappointment to learn I probably should have signed up for car rental on my policy. This happened on a Friday.Ryon was very helpful in addressing my concerns and made sure I received text messages as requested with as much detail as he could provide. He did text me the phone number for a car rental place and followed up with me on Monday to ask if I had pursued the rental option. Once he learned that I hadn’t he let me know they could get my work completed same day so I wouldn’t need to go another day without transportation. He even offered to come pick me up when I informed him I would walk over to pick it up by closing. These things all seem like standard treatment to most but the delivery of the messaging after the week I’d had went a long way. I had decided right away I would be using Luther Collision & Glass due to proximity but now I can say I have experienced the added benefit of superior customer service.

Mike at Luther Collision was very helpful with producing an estimate for a minor bumper repair. Upon forwarding Luthers repair estimate, the insurance company decided to reduce the estimated labor hours (but not the cost of original parts) that Luther Collision had forecast for the repair, but Mike accepted the insurance companys projection and worked it out to all parties satisfaction. Luther also arranged a rental car for me that I picked up onsite, and in addition to excellent work on painting and replacing a brand new bumper on my SUV, the whole job was seamless. Car accidents, even very minor scrapes like I had are not fun to deal with, but Luther made the whole experience as smooth as possible. Would absolutely highly recommend them.

I would highly recommend this shop, they are extremely thorough and professional. They did a great job fixing my Kia and restoring it back to it’s original condition as well as letting me know what was going on throughout the process. The nice thing about going through a dealer is their attention to detail. In particular the customer service manager Bryan helped us navigate easily and stress free through the whole process and I got my car back sooner than expected. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone!

I had a great experience here when I got in a fender bender last year. Repairs were done quicker than anticipated and they worked seamlessly with my insurance company to get everything completed. I would recommend body work to be done here. They have also come out to my work to replace my windshield on a different vehicle for me which was very convenient.

I went to Luther Collision and Glass after someone broke into my car. They provided a fast service and even cleaned up the broken glass and provided a temporary plastic cover for my window. While my car was getting fixed, they were great about calling me with updates, they were detail-oriented (finding additional hidden damage from the break in), and completed the job in a timely manner.

They do good work. Have been getting my 2013 Elantra serviced there since I bought it. Had a problem once with someone forgetting to tighten an oil cap. I lost all my oil on the highway on a trip. However, when I returned to Minnesota the service manager compensated me and made things right.

I was a little hesitant when my car dealer for my leased car recommended a repair shop with such low reviews -- but I was pleasantly surprised! I recently took my car in to have the rear bumper repaired. Everyone I talked to was welcoming and helpful from who answered the phone, who repaired the car, the rental provider, and the person who gave me a quote. I arrived Wednesday morning as scheduled and the rental car was there waiting for me, they said it would be ready Friday @ 6 -- despite them having to do more work than expected it was actually ready a few hours early and my car looked perfect and ready for the weekend. I will definitely be returning if I need any more repairs.

I brought my car in to repair the rear bumper after another driver hit my car in a parking garage. The person who did the estimate was knowledgeable and friendly. I took the car in on a Wednesday to get repaired and no one told me when it would be ready. I asked the receptionist when it would be ready as I was leaving. She then turned to another person who said probably Friday. Friday comes along with no word from Luther so I call and ask if my car is ready. The receptionist tells me it wont be ready until the following Tuesday. I told her that wouldnt work because I was leaving Tuesday and would be out of town the rest of the week. She then told me they could have it ready by Monday. I call the following Monday and they tell me to pick it up around 4:00 which I did. Everything looked great. Fast forward a month later and I notice a $50 charge on my credit card for the rental company even though this was supposed to be covered by insurance. Turns out Luther told the insurance company that the car was ready on Friday so I was charged extra days for the rental car even though it actually wasnt ready until Monday. The shop did nice work (although it was a pretty simple repair) but clearly they are extremely unorganized and do not value customer service. Im still trying to work out the issue with the insurance company which has obviously turned into a major hassle. I wont be bringing my business to any Luther location ever again.

If I could give a negative star, I would. I had a minor fender bender and it has taken almost 3 weeks to get my car back. I still dont have it back. I keep hearing next day, next day, later today, oops sorry in two weeks. This is absolutely ridiculous because people need vehicles for more then pleasure. I need it for my job in order to do it successfully. They didnt even do ANY work on the car for three days and NO ONE called to tell me what the status was. I HAD to call. As a customer who purchased their vehicle through Luther, I dont feel appreciated at all. I am NEVER taking my car here or ever recommending this place.

This was the best experience I have ever had with a body repair. I had thought that I had only minor damage, but Luther pointed out it was much more serious. They took care of all the arrangements with the insurance company, ordering additional parts, and it only took three days. They also took care of my rental return.

I have never given a review before but I am so satisfied with the work done I had to rave. I got into a serious front end on my 2 month old car. Although the initial time estimate was 2 weeks but ran to over a month it was more than acceptable for the quality of work. The car is absolutely flawless and looks like it was driven off the show room floor. I had an extra delay to my car being new and a part having to be manufactured. I was given weekly updates on the vehicle as well as timely responses to all emails. When receiving the car I noticed a mishap that had left a small tear in some leather. A quick photo and an email and they took care of everything without a fuss. The bodywork on my VW was beyond expectation and the customer service was fantastic.

My experience was very similar to others. Getting a quote was professional and easy and the bodywork done was satisfactory but I will not return. The time frame for completion was delayed three days and I never got an update. When I did call in I was always greeted by a discourteous and short receptionist who had no clue what was going on and seemed burdened by my call. When I picked up the car the inside was a mess. Screws and miscellaneous pieces were left without being thrown out along with car mats out of place which I found in the trunk. Luther - clean your mess, update clients on completion timelines, and fire the receptionist.

Instead of telling me there was rust under my windshield, where the windshield is seated on the frame, the technician installed the windshield anyway leading to leaks because it wasnt set properly. When I asked what can be done to correct the problem. The response I got was, not too much can be done. after getting estimates from other body shops, they all told me luther collision shouldve been liable for not addressing the rust because it has to do with air bad deployment and safety.

I just had my windshield repaired by Luther because my vehicle is leased and the windshield needed to be replaced. KIA requires all replacements be handled by a certified KIA dealer. They replaced the windshield alright, but it was the aftermath of glass shards left scattered all over the interior of the car – on the seats, dashboard, center console, floor mats and in the CD drive receptacle. The job doesnt end just because the windshield is technically installed. They needed to clean up their mess they wouldve got my 5 stars. To top it off, when I made their shop aware of the problem, they didnt even offer to make amends in any way. Free detailing at one of their participating dealers, partial refund, something. Just make the effort to make a bad situation better and I might not of even bothered with this review. The More You Know ...

This place doesnt even deserve one star! The quality of work they did was absolutely terrible! Everything they worked on is misaligned! Nothing lines up! Looks like a bunch of high school drop outs put my car together! For some credentials here, Ive been an automotive technician for 22 years. Been a master technician for last 18 years and have been running my own import repair shop specializing on European vehicles for the last year and half. Ive worked in the mechanical department of the finest top quality auto body shop/company in the cities for one year in my past. And I have seen true quality auto body work done. The technicians who worked on my car would have been fired for this poor quality workmanship. Ok, first thing is they gave my car back to me with the middle rear seatbelt locked up tight and unusable. I had to remove the rear seat and unbolt the seat belt from the floor so it would release and unlock. All seat belts were functional when I dropped it off. They never even commented about it. So they dont care about your childrens safety what so ever. Next I noticed the front grill was sticking out and loose. Found it only secured by half the screws. Half! These idiots must think half is a passing grade! So I had to finish securing the grill to the front of my car. They put two new front fenders on this car and neither side aligns with the hood, front clip, or the doors. They put a new trunk lid on this car and it does not line up what so ever with anything! To make all this crappy work even worse....if that was even possible...I found empty cigar wrappers under the hood near the fuel filter housing. My wife bought this 2006 vw Jetta tdi brand new. Ive done every bit of work and maintenance on this vehicle since new. And I do not smoke anything. And in all my 22 years of professionally repairing vehicles I have NEVER littered inside or under the hood of a customers vehicle!!!! This kind of work is something I would expect from a one tooth illiterate hillbilly in the sticks....not a Luther shop in Bloomington! The ONLY thing I am happy about is, is that Volkswagen stood behind their 12 year rust warranty. And put 3252.51$ worth of body work into a 3000$ vehicle. I will be taking my other vw Jetta to eau Claire and taking my chances with whatever body shop they use. Literally couldnt be any worse!

Having been directed here from Burnsville Hyundai, Ryon Brody examined our vehicle to make sure the car was capable of being driven. He also got underneath the car to inspect. Ryon zip tied the part hanging to make the car (2019 Kona) look better and not drag on broken part. Accepted only a Thank You for his efforts. Being from out of town, great impression and service for someone that will probably not be a return customer, but he took his job to heart and helped.
