I had my eyebrows waxed for the first time ever and the technician I had was Nicole at the Bloomingdale location. She was super friendly. I really enjoyed my experience and the outcome! First time eyebrow wax was complimentary (left a tip of course).

My 5 star review is for Shelby! I came here for a Brazilian wax last year and my experience wasn’t the best, so I was hesitant to come back but I wanted to give it another shot. Shelby completely changed my outlook on getting waxed! She made me feel so comfortable by talking me through the process and chatting with me the entire time. She made it as painless as possible and was super quick, I was in and out in 15 minutes. The results are so amazing that I already made my next appointment! I would definitely recommend booking with her at this location!

Getting a wax can be a very nerve wrecking especially if it’s your first time! That was me when I came here. I was lucky enough to be given an appointment with Katie, who was phenomenal. She was patient yet fast. I now ONLY go to Katie. However I have worked with others here as well, and everyone is very kind. This place is CLEAN, no double dipping, and they are Professionals. So happy I made the decision to try them out.

My friend gave me the “refer a friend” deal. I came in earlier today at the Naperville- East location, expecting to get a free bikini wax. I had let the front desk individual know during check-in and during payment that I was a first-time customer with the free wax deal and she still charged me at full price. I did not have a positive first-time admin experience. However, my waxer was amazing and me feel comfortable.

Katy was my wax specialist for a bikini wax and she did an incredible job! Not only was she kind and easy to talk to, but she was very professional, efficient, and knowledgeable! I would recommend her services to anyone and will only be booking with her for future appointments! This is obviously a very vulnerable procedure and I appreciate how relaxed she made me feel and helped to answer any questions I had or to inform me about things I didnt even consider in regards to the service. My roommate and I came for our first Brazilian waxes and we booked online and chose Rachel because she had other good reviews here. She made the process so easy and fun. It felt like we had been friends for years and although I was nervous beforehand, I was relaxed during the wax. She did a great job and talked me through the process the entire time. It felt like a normal thing that I had done my entire life. I will definitely be coming back to her!

I’m disappointed in this location. Monday I had an appointment which was cancelled on their end because the specialist I normally go to was unavailable. Which was understandable because I know things happen and come up. So I rescheduled for Tuesday which did not go with my work schedule at all but I made it work because I decided l was going to leave work for about 15 mins to make my appt really quick because it normally doesn’t take her that long to wax me. I get there and I’m literally 5 mins late and I’m pulling into the parking lot and received a cancellation text from EWC (so I still went inside because I thought it was in error because I thought we automatically get a 15 mins grace period after your scheduled appt) so I go inside and and the receptionist asked if someone else can do my wax because my specialist was running late with her last client (which is not fault) so I’m frustrated at this point because I actually like and want the person who normally does my waxes and your gonna put me with someone else. Like I left work early for her. But me being patient and understanding I said okay. So I’m waiting about 10 mins and the receptionist says oh unfortunately no one can take you right now because you’ve already received the cancellation text from us. But we can reschedule you. This is not the 3 time I’ve had to reschedule. I was so close to canceling my entire membership because like their so inconsiderate and didn’t know what I had to go through with my job to make this appt. Wax services are only 15 mins and i literally was FIVE mins late and no one bothered to sympathize or apologize. So I’m just going to try another location which is kinda further from me but for good customer service I don’t mind.

I got a full Brazilian Wax by Rachel and the experience was amazing. It was my first time getting a wax and coming to this location and I was impressed with the service. I didn’t feel uncomfortable or in unbearable pain and the results are gorgeous. Highly recommend it and definitely coming back! The lady at the front desk also gave me insight on waxing and answered a lot of my questions which was very helpful.

I was almost scared away from this location because of the experience I had with my last girl who pulled on my skin over and over and missed so many hairs! Because of this being the closest location for me, I started reading through reviews to scope out who actually knows how to do their job, and I came across Amanda’s name. Wow, not only was she very friendly, but somehow it was the most non-painful Brazilian I’ve ever had, and with beautiful results! I signed up for a pass right after only to have her be my go to from here on out. Thank you Amanda and congrats to the front desk lady who received an award at the time of my checkout! I recently got a Brazilian wax with Adriana after shaving in between waxes which is bad I know but she cleaned the top decently with some hairs behind which is completely understandable since i had shaved but as far as the “inner lips” and by the bottom area she missed SOOO many hairs that were definitely long enough to get waxed and too many to pluck. I don’t really understand how she could “miss” those hairs they are very visible and many of them definitely going back to rachel next time.

My first ever time i got meg and it was an amazing experience. She was very quick and professional. some hairs were left but totally understandable since it was my first time, i just went home and plucked the ones that i could. However i went my second time a couple days ago and jackie waxed me and least to say very bad experience. She didn’t trim since it was kind of needed, the wax kept breaking when she was pulling it which was never the problem my first ever time. She smothered the smooth me syrum at the top of my bikini area and that was it. I got a brazilian which includes the back area as well. and she barley got those off. very disappointed. my next appointment is booked with meg!

I’m super happy with this center! They are all awesome people and really care about your skin. I understood everything completely! I get my back waxed, my eyebrows, and nose. I used this location very first time. I came home with my eyebrows same as I went in EWC Also, was used some treatment serum on my eyebrows. The smell of the serum gave me reaction and made me sick. I called to discuss my issue. The staff on a phone told me that a manager will call me regards the problem. I never received a call from a manager. That was poor and careless service. I do not recommend to use this location of EWC

Worst place ever!!

This is an update to my original review. I was very busy at work today with no time to check messages. Around 7:00 this evening i finally had a moment to check. They said my normal girl wasn’t going to be there on the message and they had someone else at the same time. I called back and they had nothing at the same time. So now I have to go in 2 hours prior due to other things I have going on tomorrow and scheduling conflicts. Why was I offered an appointment for the same time a few hours before? I live 25 miles away and i drive out that was every 4-6 weeks for a wax and a hair cut. And i visit family in the area. My trips are planned down to the minute due to the distance i drive. Extremely annoyed I have to rearrange my entire day because they didn’t keep their word and hold the slot i was offered.Original review.Amanda was very nice and all business. Which I appreciate. This place has great prices and uses hard wax. Their products they sell are good but he only negative is that they are over priced. So probably won’t buy them as much as they recommend. Other than the high price of product I like this place. Waxing fees are acceptable. I bought 12 waxes for $450.00. Best price I have seen for the quality of service.

Bridget who works at the front desk was rude and was not listening attentively to the service that I wanted.Despite the miscommunication and almost booking the wrong reservation (bc she wasn’t listening) I still ended the conversation with “thank you” which was followed by her hanging up on me and no response. I’m a loyal customer to European wax. Have had a couple of waxers but tried out Iris and was really disappointed.She didn’t wait until wax hardened. Rushed me when I was trying to recuperate from the pain and when I asked for a little time to breath, she said “if you come every month, this wouldn’t be a problem” in a very insensitive tone.All of my previous waxers would press down on skin after a painful strip being pulled, she was ruthless and I could sense her being absolutely barbaric. I will consider switching my location or will definitely make sure she doesn’t work on me ever again.

Got Brazilian & eyebrow wax from Amanda on my first visit. She was very nice but wasn’t my best wax. I’ve gone back a few times since, and I’ve seen Gemma everytime. She’s the best. Quick, thorough, and no nonsense.

I had the worst experience getting waxed ever here.I am a devoted European Wax Center goer and just switched to this location. Irsis did my wax and it was the most painful and uncomfortable experience ever.She was so rushed she just quickly disinfected my area, missing many spots. She would go so fast she wouldn’t even wait for the wax to harden before ripping it away. The wax was so hot and my skin felt so raw from not getting the chance to solidify that my skin felt like it was getting burnt.I normally never have an issue with the pain from a wax but she made me physically scream with pain. She went so quickly she missed hairs and didn’t even finish all of the parts with the ingrown hair serum.I normally take about 25-30 minutes for a Brazilian wax and she rushed me out with an incomplete job in 15 minutes.So disappointed.

The girl who did my brazillian did it very quickly which I liked. She did miss some hairs here and there so it didnt seem like she was super thorough. Otherwise it was one of the least painful experiences Ive had and it maybe because of the wax they use without the paper. My service was half off with it being my first time, but they charged whole services extra for going anywhere near outside the brazillian area ie upper thighs or butt.

Stopped in without an appointment and was pleased that they accommodated me very quickly and without hassle. On the other hand though, I felt like the girl who waxed me was in haste and I had to touch up her work

On Friday, I went in for a brazillian and an underarm wax. I saw Gemma. It was a pretty bad experience. I believe she went over my underarms 5 times and said at the end she would tweeze the rest of the hairs. My underarms were on fire. She then very quickly did the brazillian and told me some hairs would not come out. I have NEVER had this issue and I was way past due for a wax. I came home and tweeze the really large hairs and quickly noticed pretty much none of the hairs came out. Its like I had just did a really bad shave job. I then tried to tweeze my underarms which she never got to because her next guest was in. They only book 15 minutes per wax service which is insane! Every salon I have worked at books at least 45 minutes for brazillian and 30 minutes for underarms. I can see if I had been going there for a while and we established only 15 minutes was enough, but I was a first time guest! I called the manager and the resolution was for me to come back in just so Gemma can see the horrible job she did (which she already saw and knows about from Friday) and for me to get half off my next wax service. So here I paid for my services and did not even get what I came for. They told me it would be a good learning experience for Gemma if I came back in for her to see. Im a customer, not a teacher and I came here because my friend referred me and I expected professional results. If you go to the store and buy something only to realize it doesnt work, you return it and get your money back. I would have expected the same result for receiving a service that ended in nothing I came for.
