After doing laser hair removal for a year, with minimal results, I decided to start electrolysis. I am 3-1/2 months into it and my results are far better than I ever could have expected and hoped for. Dealing with excessive hair growth for the last 2 decades has been emotionally painful to deal with. For the first time in many years, I feel confident. I no longer feel the need to hide. I never felt the need to invest in caring for my skin, when I was always looking for ways to hide. Now, those days are behind me. I even went for my first facial with Liz’s daughter Mary! To say that Liz has changed my life would be an understatement!!

As of today, I’ve had about 23.5 hours worth of electrolysis on my face (with all but two of the sessions being two hours long a piece).I’ve had Liz work on me a few times and she also did the initial consultation. She is nice, informative and patient. However, most of my work has been done by Khizra. I’m a bit baffled by another reviewer’s negative experience with Khizra because I’ve had zero problems with her. In terms of bedside care, she’s been just as good as Liz. If it’s possible for me to speak (depending on where she is working on my face) her and I will chat, which makes the appointment go by faster and more smoothly. With how painful electrolysis can be, I cannot overstate how welcome that is.I cannot speak of their other services but if you’re looking for a safe, accepting and competent space for electrolysis then I’d recommend Face Reflections.

I highly recommend Face Reflections & Khizra for electrolysis treatment. I was able to easily set up my 45 min. consultation session online. I met with licensed electrologist, Khizra, who is extremely welcoming, professional and knowledgeable. I left my consultation feeling confident in and excited for my plan for treatment. She was able to answer all my questions and is very easy to talk to. The electrolysis room has a very spa-like feel, with comfortable furniture and music, which helps with relaxation during sessions. Khizra checks in with me throughout each treatment to make sure I am comfortable, and she keeps me updated on what to expect after each treatment. Thanks Khizra!

After reading the other electrolysis reviews, I booked an appointment and wish I had went to Liz and not the first available. The words used to describe Liz are the opposite of ones I’d use to describe Khizra Y. Khizra was difficult, lacked warmth and her tone was as if she were servicing me as a favor for someone else. In gist, I’d describe the encounter like contacting a business and your service rep is a person without emotion reciting a script without adjustment even though the script doesn’t apply or isn’t responsive.Why did I stay? I opted against leaving w/o service because of Liz’s reputation in the industry and Khizra is a protege in her salon. I wanted the handful hairs removed and convinced myself that if she’s in Liz’s salon, even if social skills are lacking, she must know her stuff.The positive aspects of the appointment were:1. Pricing - $40 for 15 min (learned during check out about the new customer discount so it’s less for newbies),2. The salon is clean, their equipment is up to date and3. Sunday appointments are available.4. Online booking is available. **Though I was told by Khizra after she finished that I had to complete a profile on the booking site to pay for service and she’d sent a link to my phone. After inquiring further, particularly about the credit card machine on the counter between the two of us, Khizra “reluctantly agreed” to allow me to pay in salon saying it required her to cancel it through the site.[What’s interesting is the website says pay onsite & doesn’t require this book an appointment.]

Liz is passionate and very knowledgeable about her work! When I went in for my consult I knew right away shes who I would do my electrolysis with! She walked me through the procedure and timeline. The office/salon is very clean and quiet. She does play mellow music when working so you as a customer feel at ease!!! (I love that) Ive been with her since August and have seen a huge decrease of the hairs I wanted to get rid off. I look forward to all my appointments because I am always a step closer to being hairless lol! Highly recommend Liz to anyone looking to get work done!!!!!

I am so delighted that I found Liz Stapleton and Face Reflections at the beginning of 2021. Finally, my struggle with facial hair is nearing its end. I have been tweezing and waxing for two decades. I spoke with my Dermatologist and decided it was time to make a commitment to the only treatment that promises lasting results, electrolysis. The salon is lovely. Liz is professional, friendly and an expert in her field. She works very hard at each of our 30-minute visits, moving me ever closer to my dream. This year of the COVID and masks has been the perfect time to address this problem. I can hide behind a mask in between visits. Soon, I will be proud to put the mask away and stand in the sunshine, confident that my face is hair-free. I am so glad I made this decision. You will be too!

Highly recommend for facial and electrolysis treatments! Im a 39 year old mom of three and skincare is important to me (but not always high on the priority list). Its a clean, quiet and quaint space. Perfect for a quiet escape. Ive received a few facials with Mary who transports me to a Zen place like pushing a reset button. When I come out, people compliment how my skin glows. Liz does my electrolysis. She does a great job of explaining the procedure and taught me that it is the only form of permanent hair removal.
