First time going here but sorry the older lady (forgot her name) job was horrible I just wanted to take off my acrylic nails. After she said she was done taking them off…….. came back home with acrylic still on my nails plus a piece of my skin clipped off. I paid 10$ for it which is fine. Thanks for trying to take off the acrylics.

Moms nails turned out great! $60 for a full set of gel nails. Mom also said it didnt hurt when they removed her remaining previous gel nails and it usually does.

I’ve come here quite a few times and had a different person every time, and just WOW! They are all incredibly talented as well as professional and just plain nice!! You will not be disappointed if you come here. 10/10.

I went here as part of a bridal party getting their nails done for the wedding. I started with a pedicure where one of my toes was nicked and bled quite a bit, more than has ever happened. I also left with my big toe bright red and swollen/sore and now a few days later it appears infected. I dont remember the name of the lady doing my pedicure and I understand that things like this can happen but there was no mention of this, it was almost like she was trying to hide it from me. Three of my toes only have half of the nails actually painted as well. Straight up sloppy job, will never be going back here. Only giving one star because the young man who did my nails did a great job.

I love this nail salon. Their prices may seem steep, but go a head and try the Hawaiian pedicure... Its my favorite and the price ($50) is totally worth it to me.

This used to be my go to place, but over the last six months or so I just feel like I am an inconvenience and rushed out the door. Not to mention, with an appointment still had to wait 30 mins or so to get seen. Dont get me wrong, Tina was great, but think management is running employees ragged and it shows. Sadly, I have to find a new place for pedis.

Had a wonderful pedicure! Was very professional, friendly, took her time, thorough and clean. Loved it! Worth the money for sure. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about my manicure. I’ve had dip color regularly for two years and even the process of executing was different than I’ve had. I left with my fingers dyed, uneven nail color, uneven filing, just poor quality. Unfortunately won’t be back.*update*: 4 days later, my nails are cracking and the color is chipping off. I’ve never had this problem with a dip color, which is why I get dip color in the first place. Changed from 2 stars to 1.

This is my wifes favorite place to go get her nails done. They are always helpful and do a great job. They do get allot of business so calling to make an appointment or to check if they are busy would be a good idea.

I got a full set of gel nails, cost me $50.00 plus a $8.00 tip cause I know tipping is important!I left the nail salon with 8 out of 10 fingers bleeding because Vanessa was trying to be too fast, she put my pinky nail pointing up then tried telling me my nail is growing that way, instead of correcting the problem. Then she applied 2 nails pointing east and said once again it is my fault cause of the way my nails grow, couldn’t just fix the problem, just gave a bunch of excuses!Bad experience!However it all was corrected by Hana and she did a great job with what she had in front of her! Good job Hana!

I came in to have my nails done gel manicured, i asked for them to be shortened and she cut them just a bit too short -thats okay they will grow quickly. Then the color i had painted did not look as vibrant as the color on the swatch because of the white nail they used to show. My nails were filed so thin and the paint was so light that after 3 days i broke 3 nails . I knew this was going to happen with how bendy and flimsy my nails were walking out. Disappointed as i have paid a ridiculous amout for my nails to get wrecked. This is what happens when you are in a pinch and just pick a salon

They stay on schedule and do not overbook. The environment was clean and the staff are wonderful.

WOW! I have had a lot of pedicures over the years but this was, by far, the best. My technician took her time and made sure I felt pampered. The calf and foot massage was outstanding, lengthy and relaxed not rushed. I purchased the most expensive pedi they offered and it was still a bargain including everything from hot stone and regular massage, paraffin, buffing and of course polishing. They couldnt have been nicer. They created a memory for my daughters and me. Thank you.

Horrible experience for my friend and I. They added services they said they did on the bill at the last minute. They were rude. And, my nails started falling off after a few days!

Everyone is friendly and they have taken good health measures during COVID. Would definitely recommend going here for getting your nails done.

I went to this place for a pedicure. It had good reviews so I gave it a shot. I got a $50.00 pedicure for what was truly valued at maybe $10.00. This is the worst pedicure I have ever had. I was pulling dead skin off the bottom of my feet before I even left the salon.

I went to Athena a few days ago and had acrylics removed and a full set put on. Overall my experience with them was good. I do have a couple things that I am unsatisfied with the lady who did my nails didnt seem to listen when I told her the acrylic was on my skin (like the sides of my fingers) this is very annoying and becoming painful. She didnt smooth under the nail correct/all the way so I keep scratching myself or my daughter. My ring fingers have a glitter powder and they are soooooo thick that even at the top of the nail by the cuticle its not smooth so for example my hair gets stuck in it. Probably would be cautious who I see if I ever was to go to Athena again.

I was cut multiple times, my finger nails were burning. They are thick, SO thick. Not work 50$. Will never be returning.

Brought my friend to Athena’s for a birthday pedicure and they did not disappoint. Probably one of the best I’ve had. We did the Hawaiian pedicure, it was $47 each and my feet are still soft a week later. 10/10 would recommend.

Worst experience ever I should of read the signs of this place. Worst customer service they act stupid like they understand English and dont its difficult for this business. They upsell, upsell, charge, charge, charge, they shake down there customers for money like real thiefs but in a nice manner for more money. Scammers. Not to gag there quality is disgusting its so bad theyll charge you for a cup of water! This business should be closed Ill continue to stick to my nail shop in uptown.

This place use to be my go to place but the last time i got my nails done here they chipped 4 days after and they were dipped nails! Of course went back to get the nail fixed and all the girl did was file and redip it... she didnt even bother to soak off all the color and redo it, was a waste of time and they charge extra for the whole manicure unless you juat want the color without a manicure.

Me and my bridal party all got our nails done Athena Nail Bar the day before my wedding. We all got pedicures and manicures and the staff did absolutely amazing! All of our nails turned out beautiful. They also offered us margaritas which were delicious and much needed. The prices were reasonable and the salon was very cute. I plan on coming back any time I need my nails done.

Somewhat disappointing. I don’t know if the Coronavirus Warning signs are required but they are very off putting. Went for a pedicure, not my first time at Athena but it may be my last.... for sure it’s the last time I’ll give Holly any money for her services. She was lazy. When I asked her to go harder she just kind of grunted behind her mask. She pretended to do the callous removal I paid extra for. She made no effort to make we want to come back. If I ever go there again I definitely won’t let her touch me.

I wish all the nail techs at this salon took better care of the customers, It’s usually one or two who are good at that, but for me it wasn’t the case. I’ve been at this nail salon 3 times now, and I wish the techs had better training in using all the materials and satisfying the customer with what they want their fingers to look like.

They not only require masks, but dont even offer them, require purchase, the masks you pay for are incredibly uncomfortable. Go to Wisconsin, relaxing experience without a Government oppression on services paid. They also do their little contact tracing. Never wanted to leave a place so fast, probably did not receive the services paid for. They have signs posted Coronavirus, enter at own risk, which says to me an employee may be infected and not quarantining. Pedicures are supposed to be relaxing and I found the experience opposite, stressful. They push masks but let everyone touch the nail cards without ANY form a sanitizing them. 1st time, last time there! Hopefully they sanitize their foot baths against fungal infections.

My first time here! It was awesome! Francine did a great job on my nails for Vegas and making sure I had the right color for the Rose gold nails I had been envisioning. Quick but superb and detailed service! I will definitely be back!

Ive been loyal to another local salon for several years but a friend had talked me into trying out Athena Nail Bar. Wow, Im so glad I did. Not only were they incredibly thorough, they went above and beyond for my pedicure. Employees were kind and fun. Rates were comparable yet I feel like I got more bang for my buck; free margaritas were an added bonus!

Service quality was typical for a nail salon. Had to wait a few minutes even with an appointment. Pedicure was solid and polish turned out great. They offer drinks here with any paid service but you have to ask. They didn’t verbally or willingly offer it but I asked because it was listed in the menu. They have wine in the winter and margaritas in the summer. Salon is also very modern and clean!

Best nail salon out there!! All of the staff are super friendly and nice, it doesnt smell bad inside, its very clean and tidy, and the quality of the nails are amazing! I got short coffin shaped acrylic nails with some holographic and chrome glitter, and Ive been getting compliments all day. I highly recommend this nail salon!

I really enjoyed this place! I was there Sunday April 14th; not too busy, very clean. I got a gel manicure and my mom had a pedicure. Both nail techs were very nice, very knowledgeable and nice to talk to! Ive been to a few nail salons and they all left something to be desired. Im so glad my friend recommend this nail bar. I am now a loyal patron! Just amazing work.

Expensive, but worth it. They are efficient - and do a very nice job. I accidentally left my wallet, and they were able to get my info through a raffle I participated in there. They contacted me immediately after we had left to let me know. Everything was kept nicely, and safely til I returned.

My boyfriend wanted to treat me and get my nails done today. So we looked for locations in Blaine. So we called and asked how much it would be for a set of gel nails. We were told $48 can I make appointment for 1 sure come in. So I got there at 1 got my nails done. Walked up to the front desk and she told me $60 I told her they quoted me $48 on the phone. Then she told me I need to charge you $5 for shaping your nails. I couldnt believe what she was telling me. I have never been charged to shape my nails oval. Then she proceeded to tell me $53 dollars. And I looked at her once again and I said youre charging me an extra $5 just to shape my nails and she said yes. I ended up giving her $56 the thing that really disappoints me. You dont charge somebody for the shaping their nails that is included with the service. I will not recommend this place and I will never go back.

Over rated in my opinion. Should do more training and learn more about how to sanitize equipment after every customer.. And I got cut 3 times because she didnt know how to handle her drill on full speed! .. but customer service was good.

Things are very over priced and they have rude employees especially the older elderly lady who is very rough and doesnt do what you ask for correctly but instead does what she wants with an attitude.My 2 daughters went there today with friends to both get a regular basic set of Acrylic nails nothing extra and were charged $80 total.Under NO circumstances should a regular setNO gel NO extra anything for a student be $40 a piece!! I feel they were extremely taken advantage of because of their lack of knowledge and age. You all should be ashamed of yourselves and wont last much longer running an effective or good business in this manor.I will inform everyone I know not to do business here.

Thought it was pretty cool that they have the same name is me, but that was it. I thought the reviews says all but my nails were just average. There were even some small spots that weren’t even and i noticed it after i got home, which was 30 minutes away. If i lived closer i’d go back to fix it but it’s not worth the drive. I’ll go elsewhere.

Cute and sanitary. My pedicure could have been better. I felt like it was rushed. When you pay 50 bucks for a lavender pedicure spread that mask all over my feet and legs not just down the center. Clean from under my nails. Detail! I feel like what I got I could have done at home.

Went here for 3 years but I’m going to try a new place. Service has changed from great to bad. I use to be offered beverages but never do anymore. Last time Helen cut up my fingers real good and never even apologized when I jerked my hand away in pain. I’m sad that I have to find a new place but I’m sure I’ll find a place that can be more gentle and caring with my hands.

Paid $35 for just polish changed on my toes and was charged for removal because the first color and application was done wrong. So they made me pay for it. my nails from yesterday were messed up and they said they would only fix it if I paid them again.

The decor was great, but that is about all. I had a mani- pedi done. The pedicure was good, no complaints, but when the nail tech came to do the mani, she was impatient, worried about her cell phone, and messy. I had polish on skin around my nails. I have had several manicures done, too many to count. Never have I not been asked to wash my hands, use no soap. Well, she said it isnt necessary, and kept going. Now 3 days later it is peeling, gel polish. I would go back, but I will rather pay for a color change else wear than give you a chance to correct your technique. Technique is taught in school, I am not a teacher. Very dissatisfied.
