4/16 UPDATE: The store manager did in fact work with me and reimbursed all. He (Dustin) was also extremely professional in dealing with a tough situation. I have changed my rating, and I will return because of their follow through.Josh was very polite and professional. The battery replacement caused an issue requiring me to go to the dealer for repair. I have called and spoke to Josh asking for response from the manager for how to handle the charges. Ive received apologies from Josh many times, but I have not once heard from a manager. I expected better professional responses from the management.

Employees were nice. Went in to get a battery replaced in an iPhone Xs. I wasn’t told until after I was done that the New battery wouldn’t have the same functionality as the original Apple battery. So the Battery Health > Maximum Capacity function no longer works, and i have a constant Important Battery Message Notification in my Settings app. This was not the case with my previous iPhone when I brought it in to get the battery replaced. Had I realize this I would’ve gone to an Apple store to get a new battery.

I dont know the name of the woman who helped me, but she was super nice and friendly! Changed out my car battery in super cold weather, and she did it quickly too. She also made sure that my car started up correctly as well. Great friendly service, will recommend friends here and come back myself whenever I need. :)

Bad customer service. The guy walked away in the middle of helping me to answer the phone. There were 3 other guys working in the store (including the manager) who could have answered it. At the time there were no other customers in the store. I stood there waiting as I saw another customer come in and get helped. I waited until eventually I told the manager and he just said, “Thanks for letting me know” instead of getting someone else to help me or helping me himself.

Had my cell phone battery replaced here with same day service. I also saw marine boat batteries, regular batteries, and more. Clean and well staffed. Would recommend.

Very shady business. Brought 2 I pads in to get fixed and they quoted me 382 to get them fixed. One had an issue other than the screen apparently but I wasn’t called to confirm if I still wanted to fix it. They just went ahead and did it and charged me the price of a brand new I pad. All together it was 600 dollars and far. This is the 2nd time they have been lower than one star in my opinion. A year ago they took an iPad to fix the screen and lost a part of it during tear down and had the I pad 2 months before returning it to me more broken for a refund. Update: Although the services rendered weren’t amazing they did work with me with my problems I was having on one of the tablets which greatly effected my experience with them.

Called ahead to see if they had a battery for my camera. They had exactly what I needed and it was priced similar to what I found online. Very satisfied with their service.

It seems like even though Batteries Plus is a national franchise, each store operates by whatever rules they want. I originally wanted to buy 3 truck batteries from Eden Prairie store. I was told by the sales person that these are not in stock and it will take 1-2 weeks to ship them here from TX. I have a commercial truck. Does this salesperson realize that the truck will have to sit and not work for 1-2 weeks? I then called Blaine store. THey had the batteries in stock. Why couldnt Eden Prairie get the batteries from Blaine? Much closer than TX. When I bought the batteries from Blaine, I asked if I could return the cores to a store in IA. They said yes, any Batteries Plus store. When I tried to return the cores in Cedar Rapids, IA, I was told that they are not a corporate store, so they cant accept the cores. I would have to call Blaine store and have them issue a check to Cedar Rapids store, then they would accept the cores. Why is it my problem to call the Blain store? Shouldnt this be handled internally? Why should I care if the store is corporate or privately owned? If its under the same name, it should follow the same rules.

Had good service in the past so took my iPad in for service. Wasn’t sure if it needed a new battery or a new charging port. Intake person said he would write up order for technician to check both and call me prior to service. No phone call so I called. Was informed battery was replaced. I asked if the charging port was ok. Told it was not checked but now that he was looking at it, it doesn’t seem to be charging well so prob needs a new port. Asked how long that would take. 2 hours but they would call. No call. Went in to store. iPad sitting on counter. Nothing done since I called. Asked when tech would be available to begin the service. Told it would likely be done in a couple of hours, providing they had the part. Asked him to check for part. Result, did not have part, would take 1 to 2 weeks. “So, you would never have been able to take care of this today?” Hesitation...no. I asked if he expected me to pay for the unwarranted battery change. He said, if they could find the old one, they would put it back in, would take several hours, if they still had it around. I gave up, paid the $100 for no service rendered and left, took it to Best Buy for proper servicing. I am extremely disappointed in the entire situation. I feel I presented the opportunity to do the best right thing to the employee, but he declined.

If I could give this place a negative I would. Very rude and disrespectful female staff member lacking customer service skills to complete her job. This women even had the balls to complain to my roommate about me. To start, I was not properly greeted while staff members were talking about personal and medical issues in front of costumers... And it tumbled downhill from there with the pretentious attitude of this female. There are plenty of places to buy batteries and bulbs from and this was my first time here. I took my $200 elsewhere and guess what? I didn’t have any issues what so ever. Won’t go back and will never recommend this place to anyone.

Excellent customer service, my son thought the charging port was broken but it just had something stuck in it, no charge for that. Also, same day service.

Have had good service in the past when purchasing batteries but brought my cell phone in and they had nothing but problems fixing it and their customer service was horrible! They gave me the wrong price on the repairs and then when I got the phone back the Microphone wasnt working. They finally got that fixed but now my phone screen just flashes. The best part is they are acting like it is my fault. Would take your phone repairs elsewhere.

I needed a new battery for my vehicle and shopped around and ended up going with Batteries Plus Bulbs.It was easy to order online and pickup in store. I received an email within ten minutes stating the order was ready for pickup and they guy working was friendly and installed the battery promptly on a very hot day.Thanks!

I went in to get a spare key fob for a used vehicle we got. We ordered it no problem, and said to expect a call in two weeks. We didnt get a call so we went in about 2 1/2 weeks after. They said it was there but they couldnt find it. They ended up shipping one over from a different store, but didnt give us a time frame. We called to see if it was in about 1 1/2-2 weeks after and they said itd be there Thursday. When we went in to get it programmed they couldnt do it, and tried for 30 minutes. We ended up getting refunded. When we went to start the car the battery was drained from them turning it on and off without starting it.The communication was extremely week between the employees and us. After waiting a month we ended up having no key fob. We wont be returning to this location.

Out of 3 employees working there, only one had a mask on. The one that was working the cash register had her mask below her chin and the manager didnt appear to have a mask any where near. Even if you dont think the masks work, it is the law in Minnesota and to not care for the safety of your customers is sad. First place Ive been in 6 months where all the employees were not wearing masks.Not only does this place not care about the safety of their customers but they are crazy expensive. I needed GPA 6 batteries, their price was $12.99 for four off-brand batteries. Amazon price for four Duracell is $4.99. If you dont want to waste your money or risk your health avoid this place like the plague (pun intended)...

Never been so disgusted with customer service in my life!!! The employee was extremely condescending to my son trying to explain to him why we were there. Commanded us to open the door so he could get a dolly of stuff out the door for another customer, my son opened and held it twice for him and not once did he say thank you or please. We will never go back there. Zach thanks for ruining our night and our first and only experience with Batteries Plus.

They are not competent! That and if you walk in and start to communicate your needs, they will answer the phone in the middle of your sentence and spend 25min of your time. Plan to spend a least a half hour here and thats if no one is in front of you!!!

Ordered new battery online in the morning and scheduled a noon install. Went to store at noon, battery was installed and I was on my way in less then 15 minutes.

Great service. Great people. I had to bring my car to the shop because it was doing weird things, one of which was a battery replacement. They wanted $300 to replace the battery. I went to batteries plus website, I was able to get the high-end Duracell platinum battery for around $250. If I ordered online and picked up at the store I got 15% off. There was a $10 mail-in-rebate. $18 refund for the old battery and they changed it there for me. All in all, under $200 for the top-of-line battery vs $300 for whatever the shop would’ve put in. Very happy

Needed a battery for my car and since the service here has always been good to me in the past this was my first choice. I did some price shopping beforehand and found them to be extremely competitive, plus free install. Called ahead to verify the battery was in stock, drove in, new battery purchased and installed within minutes. For giggles the friendly employee tested the old battery confirming its demise. I will keep coming back to this store!

Although workers were very nice we brought my sisters phone to have the screen replaced and we live almost an hour away and as we got home we got a call saying he forgot to put the screws in that held the screen to the phone... how?? Then we got home and she realized the top speaker is not working in her phone so she can’t talk to people on the phone. Do not recommend for getting you’re phone fixed they did a very very poor job so now after going there twice already we have to go there for a THIRD TIME. Not happy at all, very disappointed. I would not recommend to anybody.

Great place with great staff. I went here to get the battery on my phone replaced since my old one was not lasting long anymore. Made an online appointment and it only took them 15 minuets to replace. The battery has been lasting so much longer now. I was so happy with the results that when my phone charge port started acting up, I brought my phone back to them. I was prepared to pay about $90 to have it fixed and the repair Tech said he found some pocket lint in the charge port. He pulled it out and the phone works like a champ. They did not charge me for their time. I will definitely be back to this location if I have any more issues. Thank you!

If you need a battery rebuilt, do not come here.10 years ago, I had a battery rebuilt and I was happy with it. So imagine my surprise when they mangle the next one I bring to be rebuilt. I had to wait 5 weeks for the cells to be ordered, they had to be custom-made so I understand. Then, I get a call that the battery cant be rebuilt cause the terminals are too short. No biggie, I will go and get it and solder some wire to the ends. When I go to pick it up, the battery connections are mangled and one of the leads is broken off entirely. Did they take responsibility for it? Of course not. I understand that the battery might have been difficult to work on, but if you make a mistake, dont lie about it.

The help I needed wasnt extremely difficult and it was pretty straight forward but the staff was very professional and helpful during the whole process.Ive used this service in another city and looked for a store close to where I was at and they helped me just like the last time at the other store.

It was Very Price Competitive and Excellent Warranty(60 months). I need a High-End AGM battery to use for running Camping stuff, as a Deep Cycle. Its overkill for most Starting applications.

Batteries plus must make too much money. Wanted a atv battery and the kid helping me looked up the battery on line and found the same one at Lowes for a lot cheaper and wouldnt price match it. He said he couldnt sell it for $15.00 over there cost so I ended up getting the exact same battery from Lowes. Its not the first bad experience Ive had with batteries plus, but its definitely the last!

Order a battery online, got the email that it was ready, got there, found it was not. But the worker was able to locate the battery on the shelf. He went to take it out the old battery and started to remove the air filter cover to get it out. But he said it was to hard and cold. He couldn’t get the air filter back on, so now I have a gap in my air filter compartment. And he never got the battery changed out. Me and my son went home googled how to remove the battery, we never had to touch the air filter cover and were able to change the battery with in 20 minutes. But the air filter cover is still not on, it’s cold and we don’t want to break the plastic so we’ll wait until it warms up. My biggest ding is the work should not have removed the screws for the air filter and then tell me couldn’t/wouldn’t do it.
