They are responsive, but let me tell you how frustrating it is that I have to reach out to them to get status updates. They completely leave you in the dark. We are on week 13 of waiting for our plans. Unfortunately, I payed up front. So glad I contacted them again, after two weeks of waiting for our plans in review, just to be told that the designer who had been helping us was gone. Had I not reached out would anyone of told me? So now I have to wait ANOTHER 2 weeks for the plans to be reviewed. Were they even submitted to begin with? I’m over this company. I just want my freaking plans. Already have my lawyer on standby.

Appprox 19 weeks so far, 19 weeks of waiting..waiting to see if they will add another 4-6 weeks till we get our finalized plans. At this current time I have left two voicemails and one email - with no response. Definitely have voiced my opinion with others interested in building..dont waste their time with this company! Eagerly waiting to see if they will get back to me, hopefully in the next few months. This company definitely makes you feel like you arent important...of course, theyve already been paid so whats the hurry, right?

I would recommend this company to anyone! They did a fantastic job making all of our requested changes for our custom home. Every person we spoke to was very nice and knowledgeable.

Our experience so far has been fabulous. Very friendly, thorough, and professional. Vance was wonderful over the phone and would refer back to notes to acknowledge that we were both on the same page before proceeding to the next topic. I cant wait to see the finished product.

I have had and continue to have an absolutely terrible experience with these people. The quality of the drafter that I am working with is absolutely pitiful. I have been going back and forth with these people for over a year! Every simple change - changes that were needed due to their own incompetency require a two week turnaround time - I have to get it back onto my schedule. It seems common sense that if a change is needed on one elevation, that same change should carry forward to the next elevation. My drafting abilities in high school were better than this. If I could do it all over again, I would - by all means, go with someone else. Unfortunately I am too far into the process to quit now. But I certainly will not be giving them anymore of my money.

Lengthy wait times typically resulted in missed or half-done edits. They did give us 10% off for our troubles, but we were happy to give the final payment and be done with it.

Been planning for seven years for a custom home. Three egocentric architects all wanted to build a designer home. I wanted a custom home, for me, to live in. They couldnt see themselves in it so, one by one, no plans. Couldnt give up, I bought a generic plan from the internet and Unlimited Options Inc would customize it. In brief, it was an exciting and pleasant experience. I finally got my plan; exactly the way I wanted.Applause.

Very attentive and responsive until they got my final payment. Was told it would be 4 weeks after final payment when I would receive my official plans. Here we are 8 weeks later with no plan and nobody can tell me when I’ll get them when I ask for an update. Don’t expect their turn around time to be as quoted.

My experience has been excellent, so far. Prompt, courteous, and thorough follow up makes my life so much easier. Explanations are provided in a patient manner that is easy for a novice to understand and I feel very confident moving forward with my plan modification. I worked with Ana McKay with Unlimited Options to get my house plans modified to fit the needs of our family and I couldnt have asked for anyone better. She was accommodating and patient when changing things-even after miscommunications. I was never bullied to do something one way or another like I have been with other designers. It was an absolute pleasure! Plans were returned right on schedule!

Once the houseplans were sent to UO, I was promptly contacted via email with a link to set up my phone consultation. My consultant / designer, Caleb, was very personable and took as much time as needed to go through the modifications I desired. There was one change I wanted to make which was causing me some grief as there didnt seem to be a good way to handle it but, my consultant / designer from UO came up with a solution that, while not perfect (due to the plans limitations), solved the issue to my satisfaction and great relief.

Unlimited Options was absolutely fantastic. The amount of service and consultation I received for the price was more than worth it. They were very informative and offered sound advice and provided me solid recommendations on certain modifications. Ana was a joy to work with and very helpful in creating the perfect house plan for my wife and I.

A company based on integrity and respect is tough to find, unless you go to Unlimited Options for homes designs or home design adjustments.

Jeremy was a GREAT help. We had issues with getting permits through the city due to our roof being to tall. Jeremy is very creative and redesigned the roof so that it met code with the city. Amazingly enough, his creativity made the home look just as beautiful if not more than our original design. Even through the Nations Covid-19 pandemic, Jeremy worked hard to get our plans back to us in a timely manner that allowed us to keep our original timeline to start digging. Thus far, I have been very pleased doing business with Unlimited Options (UO) concerning modifications to a recently purchased house plan from The House Designers. Within 2 or 3 business days of the purchase I received an email from UO, where I was able to access a calendar and establish an appointment for a telephone consultation to discuss plan modifications, which the representative contacted me on the exact day and time scheduled. Two days after the consultation, through email, I received for review a prepared contract containing the modifications discussed. At this point in the process, the contract has been executed and the work scheduled to begin. A preliminary review of modified plans is expected within 3 weeks. Although the process has essentially just begun, thus far I have been very pleased with communications with UO and the customer service received.

WARNING: Our experience with this company was TERRIBLE! They were suppose to change the plans from a duplex to a triplex. However, our contractor was unable to build the triplex by the plans from the company due to the incorrectness of the scale. Also the dormers would not fit on the roof, because it was incorrectly drawn. No way could the triplex aesthetically look even close to the plans which they had drawn. We paid $2K to this company for plans that were inaccurate, and we had to pay another architect to fix their mess. The framers, contractor, and architect all said that the plans from Unlimited Options were inaccurate and not drawn by an architect. Beware of this company!!!
