Richard House at Innovative Building & Design went above and beyond to be supportive through the process of storm damage repair. Never filing an insurance claim before, Richard was there to guide us at each step. He supplied us with an excellent 3D design tool to apply different color options to our home before making a selection. Richard was present while the insurance adjuster evaluated the damage and communicated with the desk adjuster to know exactly how our claim was being processed. The crew completed the job in one day and the quality control was great, making sure there were no trash or nails left behind. I couldn’t recommend Richard or Innovative Building & Design enough!

We reached out to Innovative in fall of 2020 for a new pool. Justin came out with Troy to take a look at the best option for our yard. Justin was fantastic to work with. He was consistently available to answer questions and was very knowledgeable. Our pool was installed early spring 2021 by Joe and his team. They were great to work with, especially because we were out of town on vacation when they broke ground. Justin remained involved from start to finish and we were able to reach out with any small question.This was our first major home project..We were very pleased with our final product and the quality of service we received. We used Innovative after a flood in our basement several years ago when our sump pump failed. They helped us immediately after it happened to get the area free of water damaged materials including drywall, flooring and cabinets. They remodeled the entire basement including the bathroom, walls, flooring, installed closet and other interior doors and updated the electrical. It was a big job and they were professional and highly skilled. They answered questions and handled the various teams that came in and kept the project on budget and on schedule. Years later, we had them replace our roof and siding and deck. They also updated our columns and replaced our front door. We have a home built in 1978. It looks great now with the new exterior. I worked with Richard mostly on the hail damage that was done to my house siding and roof back in 2019. He and Innovative held my hand through the process and worked directly with the insurance companies to make sure everything was judged fairly. Had a great experience with Innovative Building & Design. We started our project of siding with a request for a price quote. Richard House came out to take measurements to accurately give an estimate. In that process, they do a whole house inspection. He inspected the roof and found that there was hail damage on our roof and gutter. We filed a claim with the insurance and he walked us through the whole process. Richard was great when it came to working with the adjusters and the insurance claim team. We started the siding project without knowing if/when the roof project would happen. He was always willing to come to our house when we had questions about the project. He was easy to reach by phone or text at any reasonable time. When we had issues with the crew, Richard came out to fix the issue himself. Siding project completed. Roof project to start. Same thing, he was there for any issues/questions. Jeff was quick to finish the little tasks such as putting up the light fixtures, doorbell, weatherstripping on the garage door, etc. Even after the projects are completed they are there to fix issues. We had a piece of siding that came down and they immediately sent Jeff out to fix it. I would recommend Innovative for any home improvement need that you have.

When our house was hit by a major hailstorm in 2017, we hoped to find a good, local contractor to do the repairs. Since the storm caused a lot of damage to a lot of properties, there were immediately vultures from all over the country knocking on doors and cold calling home owners. I found Innovative on Nextdoor. We talked to Innovative and 2 other contractors and finally settled on Innovative. Our service from Innovative went from good (hence 1 less star) to excellent when Tony Hardy started working with us. Justin Kahmann was also super helpful. They were really great at navigating the insurance back-and-forth (the insurance company wouldnt accept that the new siding they said matched didnt actually match till Innovative went the extra mile to get samples, which were in short supply, and took pictures against our current siding, plus we fussed at our agent). The crews who did our siding and roof were excellent (we only had 1 issue with siding). Whoever did the trim around the garage doors did a particularly amazing job. The gutter crew was ok (also part of the 1 star less--had to have them come out a few times to deal with details). All of the crews were quick and clean. In addition, Tony had good contractor suggestions for a couple of projects we wanted done inside that were unrelated to the storm damage. All-in-all, Im glad we used them. I keep hearing of people who got scammed and people who still have issues more than a year later. Its really nice to (almost literally) know where your contractor lives. Not only is it easier to trust them, but also the team from Innovative could stop by at times that worked for us. The attached pictures show the before (grey house) and after (brown and blue house).

Theres obviously a ton of options out there for roofing and siding but Innovative was great to work with. I watched neighbors that their roofs and siding took as much as 2 weeks to get done. Innovative came with a crew of over 10 people to get the job done quickly. 1 long day for the roof, and only 2 days for the siding. I would highly recommend.

We first contracted Innovative back in the fall of 2017 to repair our roof and siding after we had extensive hail damage. The owner Justin Kahmann took our first call directly and was out the next day to perform an inspection. He provided clear recommendations on required repairs and best quality materials to use, and also helped us navigate the insurance claim process. As part of the project we also worked with Joe Hansmann and his team to replace our brick veneer exterior with new stone. Both Justin and Joe were very responsive and professional throughout the whole process especially considering the large amount of jobs they had on their plates after the massive 2017 hail storm. We only had one minor issue with our AC unit not turning on after the siding was installed, but the team was quick to come out and fix it. Weve now had our new exterior for 3+ years and have not had any issues. The attached picture shows a side by side of the before (red roof) and after (gray). We trust Innovatives work that we have referred them to our family and also contracted them to renovate our kitchen. I will leave a separate review with pictures on the kitchen renovation, but so far weve been extremely impressed with the turnaround time of the demo and installation of our new cabinets/flooring (only 3 days total!) We plan to continue using Innovative for our repair and renovation needs, and will also recommend to friends and family.

What a relief it was to find a company like Innovative. I had contacted two other companies, each of whom had agreed and confirmed a start date to re-roof my house -- and neither one showed up! We had an inground pool installed by Innovated Building & Design and we could not be happier with the service we received, not to mention the beautiful finished product. From the start, Justin and his team were in constant contact with us, letting us know of the steps ahead and the selections we needed to make. I had many questions along the way and Justin was always welcoming of those and happy to answer. We have had so many compliments on our new pool and the stunning concrete surround. From start to finish it has been a pleasant experience. After having my roof inspected it was obvious that it needed to be replaced. They are experts at dealing with insurance and are very knowledgeable when it comes tobuilding code. So not only do they fix your house, but they fix it right. They stand behind their work and use the best product with the best warranties. My house looks amazing after the new roof was put on.I would reccomend them to family and friends.

Excellent work. The craftsmanship was topnotch. Building materials were of the best quality. Just a small complaint: sometimes there were gaps in the work process when one phase was done and the next phase was not started because of scheduling conflicts.

I can’t say enough good things about this company! The salesman worked with our insurance company to make sure we would get exactly what we needed done on our roof. We had a very short window of time to get a new roof installed before closing on our old house and these guys made the whole process so easy! It was an extremely hot day but the guys stuck it out and got it all done in one day! Everyone was very professional and the roofers were very careful not to leave any nails or sharp pieces behind because I have two small children who refuse to wear shoes in the summer! I would use them again and recommend them to everyone I know.

After having water damage from an ice dam, Tony promptly came out and assessed the damage. Within 2 days he had a roofer from his team repair the problem. Amazing service and repair was done right. Couldnt be happier.

Great experience. Tony and his crew were on time every day, completed the project within the projected timeframe, and did a wonderful job. Pricing was the lowest of the three estimates we got and they gave us the most bang for our buck. The finished job looks great! Will use them again.

Over budget. Over schedule. Staff bad-mouth each other and clients. Sub-contractors swear and lie to your face. The designer is the owner/operator (Joe) and the crabby sales guy (Dave). Problems with drywall, trim, electrical, tile, paint - You name it, they messed it up. There is a guarantee for their work, but we dont want them anywhere close to our house after the horrific experience. And they werent the cheapest bid. AVOID. (And yes, this is the correct company)

I had the pleasure of working with Justin and his team at Innovative Building & Design. Justin and his team helped me with a leaky roof caused by hail damage we sustained earlier in the year. I called them in the fall last year. Despite being in the middle of their busy season and my last minute planning, they were able to accommodate me and replace my roof along with downspouts. From handling the insurance side to the work itself, I could not have asked for a smoother process. They will definitely be my go-to company in the future. Thank you Justin!
