Considering the fact that I payed for an superior wash AND tipped, you would think the cashier would lose her attitude. No complaints on behalf of the kids that towel dry, but the lady in the blue shirts attitude was not appreciated. I go to your car wash to get my car cleaned not to be the bigger person. No complaints on the quality of the wash, Lady just needs to loose the attitude.

Feeling disappointed that they will not provide full service car cleaning at this point. I look forward to them reopening to full service status very soon, I hope. Getting the outside of your car cleaned is pretty easy to do with a variety of places around the New River Valley but getting the inside of your car cleaned counts on great people to take the time and do it well, as Main Auto Spa has in the past...>>>>>>>>>>>>.Got a fast reply from the owner. As an empilyee I personally do the best job at the wash by far. One of My managers Corbin is a great guy and couldn’t ask for a better manager. But the owner pays us horrible. $5.30 an hour!? That’s ridiculous. It’s 2021 minimum wage is 9.50 about to get moved up as well. If you believe in voting with your dollar don’t come here. Workers are treated like 2nd class citizens.

Nice employees. Did a decent job except they didnt clean my windows. And for $27.95 PLUS a $10.00 tip you would think they would clean my windows!!They broke my antenna and the manager had the nerve to say it was broken already. I have proof it wasnt plus witnesses to back me up. Wont be back.

One of the best car wash in 3 towns I live! Got their ultimate wash. Pressure washed before entering their washing machine. When they towel dried my car, they also cleaned up some spots didn’t cleaned by machine. Definitely will come back when I’m in Blacksburg.

Friends of mine working here have said the employees aren’t getting paid minimum wage. $5-6 an hour, including tips, doesn’t bring their hourly pay to $9.50.

Really liked the soft cloth, instead of brushes. Plastic brushes are really hard on the finish. Im still trying to fix the scratches on my new paint job because of a car wash that doesnt keep its equipment maintained. So THANKS main auto spa. For a great car wash.

Only pays $5 an hour to their employees. As of May 1st 2021 the legal minimum wage in Virginia is 9.50 an hour. Only $5 is ridiculous, and I refuse to ever do business with this establishment until that is changed.

I had the full service wash done today which includes exterior and interior. The description says vacuum and wipe down. After I inspected my car I found many places missed on the inside (under my seats, cupholders etc. *See photos* I dont think they even vacuumed under my seat covers. I also found smudges of dried soap on the exterior of my car. I was very disappointed.

I paid for the executive exterior wash which includes a hand wax. One of the interior stations on the mechanical wash was not working (did not engage and wash the left side of the car). The manager said they would get it by hand. I observed the hand wax which took less than 4 minutes total. They did not wax the roof. When I asked, the manager (his demeanor was very disrespectful) they said it was too difficult to get the roof on a van. They did not even vacuum my car when they had vacuumed the car in front of me. They said it was a special deal for that customer but that they were not doing any more today. I paid for the service on July 6, 2020 at about 11:30 am. The employees are trying to do the least work possible there. Will never return.

Good place to stop and get a quick over of your vehicle. I have only done the drive through washes. The guys can be talking about some odd topics if you listen to them. They could be a bit more professional, but its an okay place.

Courteous & polite people, smoothly running operation, widely varied options for depth of service, high quality, efficiently delivered cleaning. My favorite is the simple Full Service wash which includes exterior wash, thorough vacuuming, cleaned windows, and a quick wipe down of interior door jams, etc - all for $15. All of that would take me at least a couple hours + supplies + quarters for industrial vacuum and wash in wash bay.

Fantastic service, this place is located outside of the local Blacksburg food Lion. The car wash clean your car very well a few employees will wipe down whats left and also clean your tires and rims. The price is affordable. They can also vacuum your interior as well.

I rarely write reviews about anything, but I felt that this business needed my praise. Car washes back home are just as effective, but the difference was in the attention to detail. The guy who dried my car took about ten extra minutes to dry my wheels just right- in the process cleaning off everything on this inside lip of the rim that a car wash just cant get. It couldve been the fact that I tipped heavily before he started, but I was extremely pleased with the result. Ill be back for the rest of my time at Virginia Tech, just because that one towel dry guy decided to put in some serious work. I know how strenuous cleaning those rims is- they can cut your hands, bruise your wrists, and make you sweat when its cold out. But these boys know how to work, and they show it. One star off for the entire staff basically sneering at me the whole time I was there- up until I tipped heavy. Minor setback, however, and I assume the staff was mostly college age guys like myself, so I cant hold it against them.TL;DR- take your car here, get the second to nicest wash they have, then tip heavy. Success ensues.

Came here to get my car washed and got the hokie wash. It was definitively subpar for the price and I find it ridiculous that you have to pay $2 extra for your trunk to be vacuumed. There was barely any tire shine on the tires and the vacuuming was done with half effort. I acknowledge the weather has been wonderful and everyone is getting their car washed but after waiting 45 minutes for it to be done I expected better results. I wouldve done a better job washing it myself.

Reasonable prices and excellent work. My car always comes out clean, inside and out. Highly recommend the punchcard if you clean your vehicle a lot.

Excellent Car Wash to use, after your vehicle has gone through the main wash the attendance will hand wipe your car get all the water spots off and depending on the package you purchased they add armor all, clean the inside, or even wax your car. Ive been using this car wash since the day they opened and Ive always been very pleased with their service

Bought a pack of deluxe washes at a great price. I go through the wash and then someone comes out to make sure all the soap is cleaned off and the tires are clean. But after each time (3 now) Ive noticed that the back bumper is still coated in salt. The package I pay for is supposed to clean and coat the under carriage with protectant. Obviously thats not the case. I still have two uses left so I intend to bring it up to an employee the next time to make sure its taken care of. Other than that, this is a decent car wash for the area.

My car always looks great when I come here! I love their Focus Feature, in which you can simply ask the guys to focus on a particular spot, such as the bugs on the front of the car or the cup-holders.

I paid $26 for a Hokie wash and an additional $3 for the body shield package. The tech finished my car really quickly. When I got into my car, the driver side floor mat was still filthy, and the console had not been cleaned at all. Most of the bug deposits had been removed from the windshield, but the door panels were still very dirty also. I am totally disappointed.

I think its a reasonable priced car wash shop if you are looking to get a quick wash for your car.

HORRIBLE! I GOT THE SECOND TO BEST BEST PACKAGE. I BOUGHT A CADILLAC A MONTH AGO. WHEN I GOT THE CAR BACK, THE SEATS WERE NOT VACCUMED, FINGER PRINTS ALL OVER THE DOORS AND WINDOWS, INSIDE WAS NOT ARMORALED, THERE SCRATCHES ON MY BUMPER THAT I KNOW WERE NOT THERE BEFORE BECAUSE LIKE I SAID, I JUST BOUGHT THE CAR. THERE WAS SOME KIND OF WHITE PAINT SUBSTANCE ON THE FRONT THAT LUCKILY I WAS ABLE TO WASH OFF. MY WINSHEILD WAS STILL DIRTY. THEY REFUSED TO GIVE MY MONEY BACK. THE MAN WAS RUDE AND INFORMED ME IF I WANTED EVERY NOOK AND CRANNY CLEANED I NEEDED RO PAY $120 LIKE REALLY??? YOU DIDNT EVEN VACUUM MY SEATS! I PAID FOR ALNOST THE BEST PACKAGE! THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO SPRAY FRAGRANCES THEY DIDNT DO THAT EITHER, I HAD TO ASK! WOULD NEVER REFER!!!

I got the Hokie Wash and got a great deal & my car was very clean. Only problem was one of my car magnets disappeared (Im sure completely accidental) but I didnt get much empathy nor compensation for the inconvenience. May try a different service next time.

Terrible! I dont know if the people here are a bunch of liars or just super lazy!I was told that detailing my car would cost $85 dollars, which was fine. They told me that they would wash, wax, and add tire shine to the outside of my car as well as wipe, vacuum, and shampoo the inside of my car.When I went to pick up my car, everything looked good. Its not like Im going to be an ass and look at every nook and cranny before I pay them.When I got home though and took a closer look. The inside wasnt wiped thoroughly and they definitely didnt shampoo a damn thing. The vacuuming was good though.Also, a couple days later when it rained, it was very obvious they didnt wax my car at all.Lastly but definitely not least. When I payed, I asked them about the tip situation and that Id like to add some tip to my credit card charge. Well, what I didnt know was that they already add a tip on there. The girl they had as cashier didnt say a darn thing.Just a really unprofessional experience. Id go back for the outer washes since they are done by machine, but definitely not going back for anything actually done by their employees.My car service shop recommended a car wash in Christiansburg. I will most likely be trying them before going back to Main Auto Spa.

Really disappointed in the service I received. Bought an upgraded interior cleaning and my cup holders werent even wiped out, nor were my doors or middle consol. Vacuum job wasnt even great. Will definitely take my truck elsewhere from now on.

Went to visit my daughter at Tech. Her car had been parked for 4 weeks under a tree and was really in poor condition. I took it to Main Auto Spa and Ive got to say I have never ever in 36 years of owning and taking care of cars been to a car wash that spent so much time making sure every last little nook and cranny was attended to and clean. It looked like showroom New by the end and I couldnt believe that all of that service was just 20 bucks! If there were 10 Stars I put 10 Stars

I will never go back to Main Auto Spa again. I have had bad service there before but todays experience was the worse. I got the Hokie special for $20 which is pricey but I thought Id get the works. When I got my keys back, I noticed that the trunk was not vacuumed. I went back to the attendant and was told that vacuuming the trunk was extra and would cost me another $2! After $20 plus a $4 tip, I refused to spend any more money at Main Auto Spa.

Poor cleaning service. I paid the $ 20 and the internal cleaning is very poorly done. I will never come back.

I usually take my car to Southern Classic in Christiansburg but I decided to test them out since I live in Blacksburg. Needless to say, I’m regretting that decision and would give it -5 stars if I could. Read on to see why.When I initially got there they informed me that their track wasn’t working and that it would take some time before it would be ready. That’s all good and gravy, things happen…machines malfunction and it’s expected. After patiently waiting for about 20 min, their machines started to operate and I had them perform a simple wash with undercarriage for $7.First of all, their line is a lot shorter than Southern Classic and their operators don’t put as much time during the prewash.However, the main reason I’m writing this review is because upon exiting the car wash I realized that a large piece of my hood paint was missing (about 3-4 inches in diameter). Shocked I went back and showed them what had happened. After making me wait for 15 mins, the manager on duty came out and insisted that their machines wouldn’t remove paint like this and that “It must have been there before the wash.” Essentially implying that I was lying about it not being there before I entered their car wash! After some time arguing, I made him ask the operator who prewashed my car before it entered the line as to whether or not he saw the missing paint. The manager went to the operator who was a decent country boy (honest and forthcoming) and asked, “There was paint missing on the hood of that vehicle was there not?” In other words, he asked question with a tone and language that would pressure his employee into answering “Yes there was.” Seeing this, I quickly intervened and asked question myself as to whether or not he saw any paint missing while he was prewashing. The operator firmly said “No, there wasn’t any paint missing just a lot of black spots from bird poop and some scratches on the bumper; but no paint missing from the hood.” To reinforce his statement, I asked that he come take a look and see exactly what we were talking about. On the way there, the manager looked at the operator and said “Our machines would never remove paint and it MUST have been there before hand.” This pressure caused the operator to change what he had said less than 30s before and assert that “I doesn’t remember if it was there or not; I only wash the car.” Mind you, because of the amount of paint missing, you’d have to be blind not to see it given it’s visible from 20 ft. away. Nevertheless, understandably, the operator maintained that he didn’t remember if it was there or not after the manager set the tone. In the end, I wasn’t as mad and dissatisfied about the paint being gone as I was with them, specifically the manager, BSing his way out of the situation, rolling his eyes at me and pressuring his employee.Drive 10 mins further to Southern Classic in Christiansburg and get a better, cleaner and SAFER wash from people who don’t put their employees under pressure. There’s also free vacuuming there. Avoid Main Auto Spa at all costs if you’re not comfortable risking your car’s paint. If you have no choice, make sure you take pictures of your vehicle before you enter the wash in case your paint comes off and the operator “doesn’t remember”.

Good washes and quick service. I just wish the price would stop going up $1 every single year.
