I can’t say enough good things. Aztec rented some formal items for my sister’s wedding a few years back. I wasn’t in desperate need of a trailer and the fellas got me checked out and hooked up in less than 10 minute so. The staff was courteous and very honest with me in regards to our of office hours drop off and my liability of the trailer until it was received by an employee. The guys really are top notch. I work construction and plan to use Aztec as my primary source of equipment and tools from here on out.Thanks to the guys there, you guys are solid. I appreciate it.Thanks, Dan.

Ive rented from Aztec on and off over the past decade or more. Generally, I have always had very good experiences. However, my most recent rental was not satisfactory and the response was even poorer. I rented a gas powered auger with an extension bit so that I could dig to about 48 deep. The auger they have does not have a neutral or reverse setting. Essentially, if you pull the pull-rope, the auger bit begins to spin. Additionally, the auger is hard to start and requires about 1/2 throttle to start, which results in the auger bit immediately starting to spin at a very fast pace. Now imagine the problem complicated by the fact that its a two-man auger with a 24 bit and a 36 extension and one hand is pulling the pull-rope and the other trying to hold the unit as the auger bit immediately starts to spin. If the auger stalls, which it did frequently, and the bit in stuck in soil, it will not restart unless the bit can spin freely, which requires the unit to lifted, started, and then back again. Its unsafe, barely usable, and perhaps the single worse piece of equipment Ive ever rented. When I explained this to the employee, his only real remark was that thats how the equipment was made, and yea, theres really nothing we can do for you now. I certainly suggest not renting this auger and based on the poor response will be checking other rental stores before I use them again.Update: I received a voicemail saying that further review of the equipment determined the augers internal clutch was stuck in the forward position (Im skeptical), but they applied a partial refund to my charge. Their performance increases from a F to D- but does not change the fundamental basis of my review: the equipment was barely usable and the service was poor.

Just had an amazing experience with the Blacksburg store. The guys there were courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. They had everything ready for me to pick up when I needed it, called 5 days before my wedding to make sure we had everything (we had to add linens at this point!), and knew how to safely load everything in my truck so I wouldnt have to make multiple, 2 hour round trips to the venue. I reccomended them to all my friends and family who were impressed with the setup.Great job guys! Thank you for everything and for being there for us!

As the manager of a shop that had to move to a larger space, renting exactly what we needed to move some huge pieces of retail furniture allowed us to completely transition in 24 hours. Great resource for us, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking.

I can say nothing but good things about Aztec Rental in Blacksburg. They are all very knowledgeable & helpful. I got married in early April & had scheduled the rental of tent,tables,linens & lights. Unfortunately I had to cancel my rental due to weather. Management was completely understanding given the unforseen weather conditions and partially reimbursed my refund. I would recommend them & hope to be able to use their services in the future.

UPDATE: I have a lot of respect for this company after my call with them today. They owned the error and made some internal updates. A company that makes things right deserves a lot of credit and another chance. I have left my review, but added an update after my call with Derek today to say they owned the error and they want to make it right.They miscommunicated the rental items, they were late dropping off the items, they did not set up the dance floor properly and promised to return. Two of my guests waited for them and missed my daughters wedding and they never came back. My family had to try and fix the dance floor in order to keep people from getting hurt. They were late picking up the items after I communicated many times when we needed to be out of the reception room.

These guys go out of there way to help you eith your projects and provide great service! Will rent from again!
