I am a busy 911 dispatcher and foster mom in Minot. I reached out to Bismarck Motor Company after searching in Minot with no success. I was so glad that I did, I told the lady that answered the phone what I was looking for, what I wanted to spend and there was specifically a Pilot on the lot that I was interested in. There were no pictures of it and she said she would have a sales representative reach out to me to get me photos of it. Dayton called me not too much longer to tell me that it was sold but gave me some other options that were similar to what I had inquired about. I appreciated the fact that he did not try to sell me something past the price point I gave him and he actually listened to what I wanted, what would work for me and most importantly what I could afford. I wasnt able to make it down there right away but he was easy to communicate with as far as my trade and setting up a time to come and test drive. Wow...I reached out to inquire on a vehicle. LEE called me back, asked me specifically what I was looking for, answered all my questions, then followed up with prompt texts as well an email with suggestions. 4/5 of his suggestions matched the vehicles I had my eye on without directly telling him. This told me he was really listening. I then drive down to see some vehicles. Unfortunately I get cat sick in many vehicles so I asked him if he would drive 1st to know if I got sick. He was so understanding and showed empathy to my needs. As he drove he showed and explained every option and told me the background and comparison of every vehicle we drove. I think we drove at least 10 vehicles. I couldnt believe the product knowledge he had on matter what vehicle or brand I chose to try. Id ask him if he minded me stopping to switch drivers, look at something, drive something new and he always responded whatever you need I will do. I can not say enough about this experience Im still in shock. To top it off, after I made a purchase he offered to deliver it to Minot for me. Then when I got home I saw an email from him with videos to explain all of the features on my car. Best sales man Ive ever experienced.

I call to speak with someone about a car on the lot and was transferred to Lee. He told me someone else was looking at it but if I wanted to swing by and take a look I most definitely could. Greg Brown was very helpful. He explained everything about our new CRV in detail. He took the time to ensure that we understood every aspect of our new vehicle. He, also, encouraged us to call at, anytime, if we had any questions. He made the experience of purchasing a new vehicle very enjoyable.

The salespeople at BMC are top notch. Tony Helvig is amazing! The management - however (and especially on the used car side of things) needs to go to (or back to) business school. I purchase (on average) a car every 9 months. The last THREE times I have attempted to close a deal with BMC (not negotiating ONE cent of of the sales price of the car Im buying mind you), they have come in - literally - THOUSANDS less for my trade-in (and twice for cars I bought from THEM) than a competing local dealership. Oh... and they dont honor their own instant offer that they advertise online either for a used car. Real example... my daughter had her first car. Was trading to get her a new one. Despite the KBB instant offer range being about $4500.00, they offered $2000 (despite the fact that I was buying a vehicle from them on trade). I took it to Eide Ford and they gave me a check for $4200 without purchasing ANYTHING from them. Same car. Same day. $2200 difference. Thats BMC for you. In short, they dont care about you. They see what they can get away with and hope you fall for it. I didnt. Neither should you. Until they change their trade-in valuation process, Im not going back. Neither should you.

We have purchased two new vehicles from Bismarck Motor Company in the last year. Both experiences were awesome! We worked with sales associate Justin Brendel and he did a fantastic job for us. There was no high pressure sales tactics. He gave us freedom on the lot as we were looking, but offered help when we needed it. Justin is a very personable sales associate and he will do his best, to get you best deal possible. On both occasions, we also worked with Corey Jesser in the finance office and he did a fantastic job, going the extra distance to meet our financial needs. I cannot thank these two individuals enough. The service department has been awesome to work with as well. We owned a Nissan vehicle for 13.5 years prior and the service department met all our needs. Bismarck Motor company is a Veteran friendly business. Bismarck Motor Company gets 5 stars from us.

My daughter found me a vehicle to test drive (Buick enclave) and told me to look for a certain salesman that goes to her church, and I misunderstood her and thought she said he was at Bismarck Motor Company, When I walked in the guys there are so very friendly and helpful, they called a guy they thought I was looking for and his name is Dayton, very nice guy, had some laughs test drove a Buick and found out he wasnt the guy, and I wasnt even in the right place!!! but didnt matter I was very satisfied with BMC and will send all kinds of people there, they are so good to everyone and I got a great deal !!!!I will definitely do business there again!!!Thank you Dayton CombsJulie Larson

If you are trying to find the right car I highly recommend going through the Bismarck Motor Company and asking for Lee Braunagel. He had multiple options ready for me when I got there based on the type of vehicle I was looking for with the key features I wanted to have! He was ready to answer all my questions and even bring extra cars I wanted to look at! It was the best car buying experience I have ever had!

I just want to say Dustin is hands down the best to deal with. He made things go so smooth and never made us feel pressured into buying anything. In fact we took our time and it was over a week before we actually bought anything. Chad is also very friendly and my kiddos loved him. We may have even got fed on a Saturday 😀
