Hinderliter Hearing repaired my hearing aids after my old company went out of business. Recently, I had my hearing tested and my hearing aids adjusted. I was very comfortable there and my hearing aids are as good as new. The staff is friendly and very competent.

The audiologist that I was going to closed down, so I moved over to Hinderliter. The office is nice and clean, the waiting is typically minimal till you get called back. The rooms are nice, with all the technology to run your hearing checks or the small tools for ear cleaning etc.The Dr, doesnt rush you, but listens to what your thinking, and if you feel things have stayed the same or gotten worse. The DR also makes you comfortable and explains everything she is going to do.

Everyone at this office was wonderful! No pressure. I wasnt sure if I needed hearing aides. I seem to always have a slight hearing issue. As it turned out my hearing is not that bad. Kristin suggested checking again in about one year. She also said that if I wanted 100% hearing - a hearing aide could do that too. So I had the choice. I will revisit in one year. I loved Kristins honesty!

I am so happy that I switched to Hinderliter Hearing Services. Both Kristin and Laurie are fantastic Audiologists. I previously used BAA in Bloomfield, but recently I called them because the tip of my hearing aid came off in my ear canal. I called in the morning, told them what happened and they said they couldn’t take me that day (suggested I go to a CVS minute clinic), I was shocked! It would take 5 min MAX to remove the tip from my canal, which had happened in the past and previous staff took me right away. With Laurie, the audiologist I use to go to at BAA gone and this utter lack of patient care, I called Hinderliter. Told them about the tip in my ear and that I wold like to transfer to them. They asked if I can come in 5 min before they started back up for lunch. When I walked in, there was Laurie Long my previous Audiologist and others I recognized from BAA. I am now a patient here and feel welcome and important when I walk in the door. Just to be fair, but still not defensible, BAA said they couldn’t take me because their audiologist just had surgery and could not twist her wrist to remove tip. However, that was same reason a few weeks back when I asked for hearing aid to be cleaned was told they couldn’t do it. How can you run a hearing aid service and not have a staff member who can take care of small patient care items? Use Hindeliter and have qualified and personalized attention!

Kristin Hinderliter has been my Audiologist for over ten years and in my opinion she is the best! She is a consummate professional. Her approach is to service your hearing aid needs in acomfortabe non rushed manner.She is very patient and takes time to explain your hearing problems in a clear and understanding way. She will spend as much time as necessary with you to solve any problem you have with your hearing aids initially or that might develop. There are two other members of my family that are satisfied clients.An example of her above and beyond dedication is when she personally came to my home to resolve a connection problem I was having with my hearing aid/TV Streamer.

My 96 year-old client goes there for her hearing aids and they are amazing! They pinpoint the deficits and then address them directly and her hearing is almost normal with their assistance. I would recommend them for anybody that is looking for hearing aids! They are the best.

I transferred here after my audiologist retired. I have been treated especially well. I was given a complimentary visit, assessment and cleaning. The entre staff was friendly and helpful. But wait -- theres more.After a few months, my right hearing aid became muted and I could not correct it. They not only cleared that up but looked at my other aid and found it was broken where the stem met the hearing aid. She looked at my warranty and found it had expired a few days earlier. Nonetheless she repaired it complimentary. She also consulted with me about my grandsons recently discovered hearing deficit and agreed to review the charts and advise us on our next steps. Whats not to like!

I can not express enough what a great experience I had with Hinderliter Hearing Services. The care, compassion and kindness of Kristen and her staff was outstanding and I highly recommend them. They were very patient during a very trying time for me. I had sudden and acute hearing loss. They loaned me hearing aids while I dealt with an ENT with the hopes of getting my hearing restored.

When I first went to the Hinderliter Services, I was almost completely deaf. I didnt think Kristen could help me. I already had 2 surgeries, and nothing worked.I was turned away from Michigan Institute, as not being able to help at that time. I couldnt hear a simple conversation across the table, my life was just silence. My son encouraged me to try one more time. Kristen found the right heating aids for me, and I will forever be thankful! Hearing the car motor as we drove away, the birds and my grandchildren, what a blessing. This is a noisy world. I would recommend her services to everyone with hearing troubles.

After receiving minimal service from my original hearing aid provider I was fortunate enough to find HHS. In one session they fixed a broken aid, adjusted both to match the results of the hearing test completed during the same appointment and was able to get me back to almost normal hearing. My wife is super happy that we can both watch TV at a normal sound level.
