Sherwin Williams installed vinyl squares in the bathrooms of a home we were purchasing. The flooring was glued directly to the slab and continued coming up. They came out twice to glue back down and both times used the same vinyl squares that were originally down which now the rep Kyle says is the reason the flooring keeps coming up. Understandably we would like to have tile installed now instead of the vinyl tile since this is the third time the floor has come up. We asked for a discount and said we would purchase tile if they would provide labor. They sent me a quote and are trying to charge $1900 to have tile installed which we would NOT have to do had they installed the vinyl flooring correctly the first or at least second time. I would never recommend them to anyone!

Recently ( 2020) Sherwin Williams installed carpeting my new home. I was very dissatisfied because the seam in the carpet was visible in the middle of the room. I spoke with the builders Rauch Coleman )an agreement was met to pull up the carpet and replace with flooring that matched my kitchen. After installation I realized the flooring didn’t even match. Part was Matt finish and other was satin finish,in addition a board bubbled up and wasn’t even the same color.I called and spoke to John, Jim and Anna. The store manager assured me they would be out on Thursday.The following Friday week an employee showed up and spoke no English . He had 2 boards. My friend spoke Spanish and spoke to the employee. He explained he couldn’t fix the board because it also was the wrong color.Now I have flooring that isn’t the right color or matching finishings. Since September 10th 2020, No one will return my phone calls (5).Do not use Sherwin Williams in Birmingham.Totally non professionals.Next step is to call the cooperative office, my attorney and I will keep you posted .
