Imagine working all Week just to find out they haven’t processed your check. Had to call just for them to process now I got to wait few more days. For a check I was supposed to receive days ago

I applied for a position online and uploaded my resume. I received a call to go to the nearest branch. I went to the Birmingham location and they werent welcoming at all. I finish up things on the computer and took a urine & hair drug test. The lady doing the hair follicle test was so rude and impatient. I was told theyll contact to me with the next steps. They went ghost and I never heard from them again. I called for an update and the lady hung up the phone without responding. I believe they lied about the job being available. I see theyre still reposting the job. Dont waste your time people. This location is a joke with bitter unprofessional employees.

They were able to find me a job the same day I walked in!! Brian (though swamped with incoming employees) helped me with the application process every step of the way. He was able to answer all my questions. Also, Sandra was very helpful with giving me valuable information about the place where Id be working and additional information about the position. Everyone was very professional and willing to assist in any way. I appreciate them so much for all their help.

Despite the numerous people waiting, experience was good. Guy at the front (think his name was Brian) was helpful and patient. They had positions that suited my skills. I would recommend to anyone.

The first day I walked into the staffing agency I was greeted professionally and friendly by Brian at the front desk. I inquired about employment and he gave me more information than I expected. More than any staffing agency I had been to because for some reason, they act like giving employment info is a secret and you have to be initiated first to get any help. Brian made me feel like he was actually interested in helping me find employment. The Registration process was easy. I came back the next day to complete everything because I had an appointment. I meet with other staff members Shannon and Johnny. They too were friendly, kind, and professional. Just like Brian, with them, I also felt like they genuinely wanted to help me. I havent felt like that about a staffing agency in a VERY long time. While I was there, I also noticed the way Brian interacted and talked to other job seekers that came into the office. The same way he treated me, with respect, professionalism, care, and a positive attitude. That really won me over and stood out in my mind. I also followed up with Sandra over the phone and she displayed the same professionalism that I encountered with the other staff at Elwood. I was blown away! She was so helpful when I called. I truly recommend Elwood staffing to any job seeker that is looking for employment. They really make you feel like they care about helping you when you walk in the door. They have what other staffing agencies lack these days, GREAT customer service!

Elwood Staffing gave me a great experience. They were able to provide me with a great job opportunity within a couple months meeting with them. Also, they stuck with the job categories that my skill set has the ability to thrive. I would refer more people to them in the future based on my experience.

This is my first time using a temp Agency And everyone was super nice everyone could answer my questions Barbie was my helper she is amazing 😉 they helped me find a job quickly with no hassle I’m blesssd to know theses women there that stayed over just to help me finish the page I was on so I could pick it up later this place is amazing and super friendly

After speaking with Sara miller, I was scheduled a time to speak with someone in their Birmingham office about a book keeping/administrative position. I drove to the office to only be informed that the position I was interested was stale and that they havent heard from the company hiring in months.They also informed me that there were no other similar openings.It was a wasted effort.

This company is a scam, they look for any excuse they can to not pay you, the branch office staff is rude, and the on site supervisors never seem to know anything when asked. The health insurance is complete garbage not to mention expensive, they say they care about their employees but actions don’t add up.

I will not fill out another application until Robin Spear leaves. Last year, I called to see if the Birmingham Office had cleaned house since Dan Koch had purchased Alabama Splash Adventure in January, 2014. Robin Spear dodged the question, saying, we dont staff Alabama Splash Adventure. No staffing service staffs ASA, as it is a theme park open only during summer months. My guess is Ms. Spear does not get along with the Koch Family, who also own Holiday World.
