Obviously a last resort place (no credit check), if I would have had a different option at the time (2019) I would have gone somewhere else. Overpriced vehicles which is no surprise with a buy here/pay here, make promises they dont follow through with, poor customer service, their goal is to get you into a car then to upgrade you to another car and make as much money off of people who really dont have many other options. I just cant wait to be done with this place.There are a few places that do second chance programs I would look into them before coming here.

Very inconsiderate people I was only two weeks behind they came and repossess my car I was in the hospital with Covid they didn’t give me a chance to pay them $500 reposition fee plus what I was behind didn’t have that kind of money only gave me three days to come up with the money had the car for going on two years now no help at all

Would give 5 because when I got the car in 2019 they were super helpful and everyone was nice and worked with you. I put down more than what was asked for my car and its a nice car. The only thing is that when youre in an industry to provide customer service I feel as though that should apply to all aspects of your company if that is what youre offering. Due to covid I have had to take off work to keep my daughter whose virtually schooled and my job has had to shut down several times due to an outbreak. They arent really helpful with this. Still having to pay insurance and you can let it fall or your car will be repoed and you if you fall a week behind on your payments your car will be repoed. In total i pay $613.00 a month for car and insurance payments. I can barely make rent and keep groceries and pay utilities with no government assistance. All have helped during covid or been lenient except for Holmes Motors. I feel they should be a little more understanding due to the circumstances. They havent been helpful AT ALL!!!

If I could give a zero rating I would!! What I have to say is not about this particular location but with a guy name Patrick who works for this company. This man was downright rude towards me when an issue happen that THEY WERE AT FAULT FOR!!! This man talked down to me from the start of the conversation to the end. Not once did he apologize for the inconvenience that was put on me for their mistake. Instead he made sure to threaten me about my car. I have never had customer service given to me in the rude manner that he gave me. When I tried to explain the situation, he talked over me and down to me like I was the size of an ant. The situation was fixed but I had to be talked to like I was nothing before I got there. A lot of us have been through hell and back with everything that is going on right now and the last thing anyone needs is to be talked to in the manner that he did. Horrible man and dont see why he is in that field!!! Hopefully he will get his soon!!

My transmission went out Sunday & with my car being under the 2 yr warranty, Holmes took care of everything, with only me paying $100 for a Repair fee. It only took 4 days, they are always nice & welcoming to their customers. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to lease a car.

Believe me when I say I have no problem complaining when the customer service isn’t up to par. I have been in customer service as a manager for several years. I have always been glad to get negative reviews because that’s how we grew and improved. Although positive reviews are far and few between. I like to write positive reviews when they are due. Holmes Motors deserves a good review. I bought a 2012 Ford Expedition on 11/19/2019. Beautiful vehicle, we got great customer service, the cleanliness was also top notch. On 11/25/2019, I was driving home from work and lost power while driving down the road. The engine light started flashing and totally shut down. I called Kym (sales Rep) immediately the next morning. I figured I would have to get it TOWED to Birmingham (108 miles) plus pay the $100 deductible. This dealership towed it for FREE, charged no deductible, and got us a nicer/newer vehicle the same day. All against what my contract said. This company turned what could’ve been a nightmare into a blessing. They definitely made it right and I really appreciate it. The contract clearly states buyer is responsible to get it to the dealership and pay $100 for any repairs in the first year. I am a dad to five kids and this made me a life time customer.AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE. I REALLY APPRECIATE EVERYTHING FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART.

I gave them 4 stars because you cant be over 7 days late on your vehicle under any circumstances or they will disable your vehicle and reposses it. Circumstances do happen in life and i feel like they should be more understanding to that to keep a customer. Other than that everything is good. I came in with the amount they wanted down for my vehicle and drove off the lot withTHAT vehicle. No games or bs. Be ready to pay though.

This car lot is nothing but con artist I look at a truck on Mississippi had the down payment and ready to do business at the Birmingham store but they change the price on the truck so they said we have the same truck on the car lot in Birmingham and we give it to u for the same price as the one in Mississippi brought the truck two days later had to take it back rearend making noise they keep it for 2 days put some gear oil that help it but didnt fix it then a week past and the truck started to make knocking sounds so at this 😡 point I know the engine is gone never again

My husband bought a vehicle from this dealership in February 2019 and there have been multiple issues with the vehicle. We were given a two week waiting period for the vehicle to be looked at because they only have one mechanic. Totally unacceptable if they don t do loaner vehicles. DO NOT buy from them. They are only concerned about receiving car notes on time. Wish he would have bought from City Auto or Anthony Underwood instead. They wont fool him/us again!! Follow your gut feeling..This place is a joke!!

Poor as customer service!! Want even bother seeing what the customer needs or atleast taking a look at the problem. Been calling and telling about a tire on my vehicle since the 4th day I purchased and already bought 4 tires within 4 months. Because your mechanics fail to do there jobs!!

Dont go to this dealership if youre a soldier. My husband and I are in a tight spot and we need a car for him. They said all you needed was an Alabama drivers license, which he does. We have his LES saying he makes more than enough to afford payments on a vehicle, and a little over 15% down for the price range we were looking for. It took them less than 5 minutes to tell us no because they wont sell to active duty soldiers. Feeling the support, guys. Thanks for nothing.

I bought a car from here May 30, radio was broke & engine light was on, and I just found out I already have to replace my auxiliary battery and they say they don’t help with that even though WARRANTY is free 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️ I’m just now here August 15 trying to still get my radio fixed as I have been since DAY 1 & this man say it’s gonna take 3 hours to fix like I don’t have a life or job I have to maintain to pay them EVERY pay PLUS you have to have FULL COVERAGE at all times which is high as HELL ! This is very poor customer service 😞 when I first came to complain about my radio, one of the salesman’s stated I could just go purchase a $7 speaker from Walmart if I want to listen to music that bad . As long as the car running 🙄 WTH?? I paid 1400 down here and I’ve been paying my car notes faithfully since I drove off the lot. I want EVERYTHING working 🙄🙄🙄 I work everyday because I am a manager myself and if I do say so myself there is a lot of misunderstandings and miscommunication at this place of business . The mechanic is VERY unprofessional it’s sickening ! I have been very patient with them, I wouldn’t recommend ANYONE to come here and invest in one of their vehicles. It’s ghetto and bogus ❗️
