They are cool with me was open till 3pm on Saturday and had the part I need to fix my truck. I was very happy.

Fantastic parts department, and they accommodate drivers VERY well! But, went to get into my truck, the person who test drove it, got grease and oil all over my seat, steering wheel, arm rests and shifter.

Parts wont answer phone. Keep picking it up and hanging up.

Very Poor customer service no one seems to care unless youre a big company.

C&Y Trucking Inc out of Cullman, Alabama. About 40 miles north of Birmingham Kenworth.I have run California for 25 year and have never had the experience with any Kenworth service department that I have had in Birmingham Alabama. The worst service in 25 year. Not just 1 time, but everything i take a truck into the service department. I have had 3 truck in the service department at the same time, and for weeks at a time. I went to pickup a truck tonight and leave the one that I picked up 2 weeks ago, and didnt make it 40 miles up the road before it tore up again. When I started to leave with the one that was there for 2 weeks, tore up before I could get out of the parking lot. This happens everything I take one to this Kenworth Servive Department

I edited my review from 2 stars to 5. Preface: I was really POed that the service guy didnt show up and so i waited over an hour before I was brought into a bay. A case of where the right hand didnt know what the left hand was doing which is much like my shop at the yard sometimes. They also dont seal windshields with silicone here and have to call a guy. First time Ive ever run into that problem at a mechanic shop, so I still have a leaky windshield.Once I was brought into a bay the service was stellar. It took them nearly all day to check on an electrical problem, but it was found and fixed. The drivers lounge is nice and i like the set up for getting food. I only wish I couldve had a salad instead of a sandwich for lunch, but they had no silverware to be found anywhere. The lady running the payment counter was really nice and helpful during the snafu this morning. Shes a gem.

Got a check light on, called this guys before dropping the truck there and was told next day truck will be in the shop, its been 10 days truck never got into the shop and they keep saying everyday will get it in tomorrow. I wouldnt bring my truck here if i knew from the beginning that i will have to wait weeks till the truck gets in the shop.

Parts Clerk on North end of desk is good to work with. The dark hair dark eyes girl at cashier desk is worth 3 trips a day for me to see.

Worst experience with warranty items... bought truck batteries ...one goes bad less then a year old ...they say Ive got to buy a new one while they figure out if the item will be refunded..and this takes 6-8 weeks..Total BS.....this guys are crooks and rude AF.....

WOW this is by far not the first time ive bought trucks by far the worst time I have ever encountered buying 2 trucks from Truckworx Birmingham Alabama this started August 8 2020 and continued till September 18 2020.The experience and mishandling of finance and paperwork leaves me dumbfounded as to who actually handles finance and who sells trucks along with the paperwork screwups and continually delaying from the salesperson not to mention the trucks were not ready and dirty when it came time to see them.What an arduous time it has been just for 2 trucksBy the way I am still in Birmingham AL due to mishandled title issues and screwed up FedEx delivery package marked for end of day delivery of the titles and registration paperwork on a Friday evening no less...Amateurs at bestIm not scared to post my name either.

Work was done in a timely manner but everything after that was extremely slow. My truck was done for 3 hours before I knew it. No one called or came to get me. I finally got tired of waiting, had to chase someone down to find out what was going on and was told my final bill would be complete soon. 20 minutes later I went to my truck, got everything ready, hooked to my trailer and went back in, still no bill. I finally asked for a manager and was then treated as if I had committed some crime. The manager(I guess), Tim, was very helpful and got my ticket to me so I could pay and leave.

Jason gets 5 Stars Plus! Extremely nice and caring for the drivers. Comfortable recliners in the Drivers Lounge, Free Shower, Laundry, Coffee and Fountain Drinks. The shop and parking lot are full of trucks.

The company I work for has 4 Kenworth trucks and 1Peterbilt all have been in their shop we have never had a bad experience

Seen it from the freeway. Needed a new mudflap bracket and oil pressure sensor. They had both in stock for my 2007 T-800... Not a bad price... Easy in and out, limited parking though.. not a lot of people in parts area so it was quick... Would I stop and shop again? Yes.

Took a dpf filter in to be cleaned. I went to pay for the service and there was a bit of confusion about the invoice. Justin in the parts department fixed the mix up and made it right. Excellent service!

Horrible experience. Watched trucks come and go since I have been here. I have been waiting since Monday for work to be done, it is now Thursday. now they tell me that I must wait until at least Saturday because they finally ordered a part they would need and it wont be here until late Friday.I have been given 4 different estimates, one for $6499 which was approved and later one for $6700 that they wanted to wait for approval. I was there for a whole work week. They can give me a $200 discount or at least order the parts needed.I was told that my truck would be looked at Monday. Did not happen. I told them that I could not afford a hotel and they said no prob, we can pull your truck out of shop so you can sleep there. Did not happen.They have locked their doors today because of the virus. I have been more exposed to the virus because of my wait. I had very little interaction with the public before my break down. If I exposed them, it is too late for them because I was waiting in their lobby for 4 days. However, If I am exposed due to my wait or them kicking me out of the facility to protect themselves, I truly intend to sue. They have a greater risk of death by using their cars than catching this virus.I can usually run 600 to 700 miles a day at rates close to $2 dollars a mile. They have cost me a minimum of 6 days of work. I am paying for their incompetents. A driver told them she had a sensor problem. $4000 and two days later, after replacing a harness, they said she had water in a sensor. At least they apologized.Avoid this place at all cost. They will sweet talk you and Give you promises. In the end, they only care for your money and will throw you in the streets to save themselves.It is now Saturday and they are hoping to have the work done by Sunday.It is now Monday and they are saying Tuesday.I did get out Tuesday. The second shift on Monday tried very hard to get me out that night but coolant line broke. Kenworth put a tent out and more comfortable chairs. Provided us with water and electricity. Everyone was friendly. The second shift was outstanding. Because of this and the comfort they tried to provide, I am upgrading the stars.

Only truck shop Ive been to with showers, a nice lounge, free fountain drinks, AND rooms to stay (only 3 so first come first serve). Clean - some great staff Cristy (super wonderful) McKenzie, Angie, Tim, Jacob, Brittany, Hannah (amongst others) and my man Jason. Jason was nice enough to drive 2 of us to local eateries so we could get out a lil. He was even serenading us with that country twang 🙄😅 and going old school with Hall & Oates.🎶Thanks for the hospitality 😊

Hannah and Britany are the best in the business when it comes to helping drivers out.they are knowledgeable and will let you know the status on your truck. And they are always smiling

The office staff and mechanics are fast, professional, and friendly. I was able to relax in the customer lounge area on one of several recliners.

What a bunch of crooks! Went in due to a line the size of a ball point pen and 5 long that connects my sleeper air bag. Took 5-7 min to install and they charged for a whole hour of labor $136.00!! They would not adjust it even after talking to the service manager! They charge less for a DOT inspect! Would not recommend! Hard to find a parking spot also! Dont waste your time there! Better to go somewhere else! This location is in Birmingham Alabama! Unfriendly folks!

I have never had an issue at this location. The workers are very helpful and friendly. It make take a little time to get your paperwork wrote up but its all worth it.

Called to talk to a salesman receptionist ask what county I lived in, I said it wasnt important I just needed to talk with a new truck salesman. She said thank you and hung up on me. Called back to talk with manager the same lady said hes not available. Guess who I wont be ordering my new truck from. Truckworx. MCH isnt that complicated. As for the rest of the facility I have no idea and wont Ill not step foot in that place. Hire someone with some social skills it might help business

We were picking up our new truck here, and they told us our truck was not in their yard. Once they found it, the truck was locked and they couldnt find the keys to the truck. We had to spend the night in a hotel until the person in charge of the keys got to work in the morning. They had a key made which didnt/doesnt work correctly, and when we got in the truck, the keys were in the glove box. We wasted 16 hours just going to pick up a truck.

Slow slow slow

I work for a small business that has bought 6-7 new trucks from this place and we have purchased many more used trucks that we have to get parts for. Seems everything is at least 7-10 days out. Service is slow sometimes but thats probably from ordering parts. I can give them a good job from our last repair. Another shop made it take 7 months for the repair that they towed to truckworx because they couldnt figure it out. After truckworx had parts I got the truck back in 2 days. Have had several issues in the past though.

AVOID THIS PLACE. These parts guys are the worst. So ignorant, they give the wrong parts #s on purpose. Go in there to pick up parts and they give you the wrong ones. Either way, terrible service.

Our truck was in the shop for 3 weeks at KW and all they managed to do was clear codes. We made it 20 miles from the shop and all warning lights was back on. We called the shop back and was told it would be 3 more weeks before they could get it back in. We will never use this shop again.

This place is a complete joke!!!! I got here when the doors open up until they closed.I explain the problem and said what needed replaced all for the KNOW IT ALL GUYS in the shop to tell me that wasnt the problem. Long story short 12hrs later the KNOW IT ALL GUY confirm that my suggestion was indeed the actual problem!!!!!! Close my ticket out with a $469 with the entire day blown with parts for my truck I didnt need....Then tried to tax a ridiculous labor rate to fix the ORIGINAL PROBLEM I TOLD THEM ABOUT FROM THE JUMP!!!!!!! NO WAY IN HELL WOULD I EVER RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT TO ANY OF MY TRUCKER BUDDIES AND IF YOU ARE READING THIS....YOUVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!! CROOKS AND A TOTAL WASTE OF VALUABLE TIME!!!!!!!!!!!NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!

Bought brand new KW’s from Ben Gann. Asked for 500,000 5 year warranty but instead he gave me 300,000 3 year. For Engine and after treatment for $2000 which actually costs roughly around $1600. So I asked him to cancel the warranty and refund the $2000.00. He cancelled the warranty and never refunded the money. Always making excuses or telling me that he will call back never calls back and avoids answering my calls. It’s been almost 2 months and I still struggling with this dealership to get my refund back. I am leaving voicemails to accounting and new truck sales manager Steve and no one calling me back.Regards

Picked up my truck from here after supposedly getting new batteries. The 2 times I shut the engine off in 400 miles the truck was almost impossible to start. The second time required a jump. Turns out that the tech at this facility didn’t tighten the cables to the terminals, even forgot to replace the holder. If this place can’t even do something this simple, I can only imagine how terrible they are on the difficult things. Lost 4 days of work due to this, as I am a company driver and wasn’t allowed to take the fixing into my own hands.And the tech also got his greasy hands all over my interior, after the truck had been detailed. So I waited another few hours for them to clean up their mess before I left.Only reason for 2 stars is because they have laundry and sleeping facilities here.

The guys in the parts department are real bunch of A$$ holes. Every time you walk in there they treat you like your a complete idiot. They sit behind their desks acting all busy and will not great you or speak to you until youve been standing there for 5 minutes. Then you try and explain to them whats going and what your looking for and they treat you like your the dumbest man alive. If you say something wrong they all start snickering amongst themselves about how wrong/dumb you are. The only nice person in there is the lady that prints off your receipt/ticket. I will drive 20 miles out of my way to buy from someone more expensive before Ill consider using them!!!#Horriblepeople

The only reason I gave this place 2 stars is because they had free laundry, and showers and three rooms for stranded drivers. Also I would like to say the security guards were exceptionally friendly and professional. Now, for the bad part. I was towed in on the 22nd of August and my truck wasnt pulled into a bay for two and a half days. Then it took them another 3 and a half days to clean a dpf filter and get me on my way. The two jerk-offs at service counter ignored me Everytime I would check on the status of my truck. On day three I made an excuse to grab some clothing from my truck and it was in a bay way in the back untouched. I checked the following two days, ( the weekend) and it had not been touched. I got up early Monday morning to check again and the same two jerks acted surprised to see me. The truck had been pulled out and parked on the ready line. No one had said a word to me about it being ready and they just opened. I grabbed my stuff and vowed never to return. If your broke down any where near Birmingham Alabama and need a Kenworth dealer, I would suggest finding a different one then this place. I am a company driver so I am at the mercy of my company, however 6 SIX days for a dpf filter cleaning is absolutely criminal. I have notified my company maintenance and hopefully they find an alternative because this place will Rob you straight up. Also cannot find a few of my things in my truck I left inside after getting towed in ie. Sunglasses, a few tools, my Gerber and my leather work gloves. Just warning the next driver be weary.
