UPDATE: Contrary to what the owner claims below, they did NOT discount my bill after speaking with me. They INCREASED the bill for services already rendered, and took out the contract renewal fee for this coming term because i will no longer be using them in the future. To call that a discount is dishonest. I was a customer for almost three years. Sad to see what theyve turned into.They used to be a top notch company, with great customer service. Not sure if the pandemic changed them but the head dude in charge is rude and money hungry. They spent an hour on a service call and charged hundreds without getting a verbal OK on the repairs. When i asked about it the smugness was unbelievable. Like they were entitled to make any decisions they deemed fit.

The technician was prompt, professional, and the quote was as expected. The replacement service was very quick and it’s really great to have cold air conditioning again! Great company that I had heard about on the radio. Thanks so much!!

I called KS this morning explaining our need for A/C repairs. The customer service rep scheduled service for the same afternoon. That is hard to find with service groups today. Derek was the tech that came to our home. Not only was he professional, he also explained what was wrong with our unit. He did not try to up sell their services. I will use KS again when service is needed. Great service for a very fair price.

The work was unbelievable, my install of a new unit was difficult to access to say the least. the crew spent 14 hours straight to complete the task and did so without complaint. they were not leaving until we were satisfied. we are customers for life and recommend to everyone.

KS was referred to me by my contractor. I have experienced their techs to be competent and honest. They are always early (not just on time) and easy to talk to and deal with. I feel like they run a quality business and are interested in taking care of the customer honestly and just up-selling. Prices are more than fair, especially for the service and professionalism that comes with it.

Could not recommend more. The guys stayed until 8 pm installing ac unit (non emergent). Very knowledgeable. Didn’t try to up sell us. This is a good honest company with some excellent employees. My only complaint is that I hate that they stayed so late at my home doing a non emergent job when they should be home with their families.There were many guys on this job however the only names I got were Robert and Tyler.We will continue to use KS and recommend them.

I recently had KS come out and install a new AC and furnace for me. They did a wonderful job and were very professional! This is obviously a big investment and they took the time to explain the options and made me feel comfortable with my decision. I got several quotes and when considering the quality (higher seer, 2 stage, variable speed blower) they were the best priced.Furthermore, the install took place on a Friday. Saturday late afternoon I had an issue pop up (no fault to them). I was able to get in contact with the owner who came to my house at 7pm on a Saturday and stayed with me until he got the heat back on at 9pm. Cant beat that customer service!

KS came out in the morning and determined that I needed a new HVAC system. Once we agreed upon a new system and price, they immediately pulled an install crew together and had them back at the house that afternoon to swap out the systems. He set everything up on my new gas range and was able to help me get the old range outside. He did all of this without damaging the product or my hardwood floors. He was polite, friendly, and was able to call for help when he realized he didnt have a hand truck. Blake (his coworker) was able to be there within 20 minutes and was also helpful, respectful, and kind. The price was one of the best after I called around town 10-15 places. Highly recommend!

KS replaced my old, undersized, and unreliable heat pump system.The technicians were timely, professional, and skilled at their trade. My heat pump (AC) failed on a Thursday night. I contacted KS that night via their website to schedule an appointment for Friday. KS contacted me at 7am Friday morning to confirm my appointment and a service tech was at my house by 10am. He assessed my situation and I needed an entire new system. He reviewed all of the options and answered all of my questions. We agreed on a system and a price my wife and I were happy with. He was not pushy nor did he recommend the expensive unit. He scheduled the installation for Monday. On Monday, the installation tech called me when he was 30 minutes from my home. He and his partner arrive on time and got to work right away. They worked all day with no break to install my new system (outside unit, air handler, new lines, and thermostat). Once installed, the lead installation tech reviewed all aspects of the new system with me and again, answered all of my questions. The install was clean and professionally done. KS gained a new customer today. I will tell all of my friends and colleagues to call KS for their next service or system quote. Absolutely the best HVAC service I have ever received!

Just now we had them install new mini-split system with airhandler for the upstairs. Unit is outstanding and extremely quiet. Overall great company to use for AC needs.

No ill feelings toward KS, I just think they are not the best option for my area. I paid KS Services a lot of money to fix an issue that eventually was fixed by a competitor for a fraction of what I had already paid KS. This is all just one persons experience and you should research all options as much as you can if possible.

They came out and cleaned our AC ducts and did a great job. They were a little later than I expected (@30 mins) but had called and let me know. The techs were very friendly and professional. They even found an issue I had with my furnace where the exhaust wasnt sealed and was allowing it to leak back into the house.

From the time of my initial call, to the sales staff quoting my repair, and the install of my system-OUTSTANDING service. The 2 techs performing the install were quick and efficient. Did their job, cleaned up after the install, and answered all questions. Thanks again.

Andrew Harry came out today and was on time, knowledgeable, very helpful and resolved my issue quickly. When I need service again Ill definitely call KS Services. I use KS for all my heating and air needs and have never had a poor technician or poor service. If I could request Andrew specifically I would.

5-14-20 @ 8am Dylan was the first person from KS that came out to evaluate the problem. Dylan was knowledgeable and answered all of my many questions. Because when you’re told the price is over $900.00 you ask. I’m more than sure I asked about anything that could be done about that price. I was told part was under warranty this price was labor charges. So I schedule KS to come out and repair coil. On 5-15-20 @ 8:30am Installer Andrew was polite, and on time. Asking Andrew about a discount also. The reason for the 2 stars comes from a lack of getting a 15% discount on replacement of a evaporator coil on our HVAC.The discount is clearly indicated on their website. So I called and spoke with Chase he took my information because at this point I had not received a billing invoice or receipt of payment. Because they didn’t have my email inputted correctly. Chase did return my call stating after speaking with the owner there was no way to pay me the difference now. It would have to be paid forward. The amount of the 15% should have been $136.89 and now I’m only getting $100.00 paid forward. What happened to the $36.89? I’m hoping to get this resolved. Will update this review if it happens. Because during this pandemic with only one person working this hit us hard. On Thursday 5-21-20 around 8ish Marcus called and explained that he would have a check sent to us for full amount of discount. Yes, we received a check on 5-26-20 $137.00. I had Freedom Heating and Air come out for a Free cleaning and inspection - every thing on unit was working fine. Many potential problems pointed out in system. After service, next cold day (of course the coldest of the year to that point) the heater would not work. I had to purchase space heaters, turn on stove, use fireplace everything to keep from going to a hotel. I then called K and S who came and suggested that we replace the fan (it was pulling air into unit not out of unit). Son in law met tech and was informed that fan motor needed to be replaced. It was running only in reverse. (Cost - $800.00). Son in law suggested that it looked like the wires were reversed -tech said that was not issue. We paid $80.00 service fee plus the cost of space heaters, if you want to throw that in. So, after tech left, my son in law reversed the wires and it has worked fine. I would not recommend FREEDOM HEATING AND AIR (Tech reversed the wires during cleaning) nor K and S SERVICES ( improper diagnosis/knowledge/suggestion). Still looking for a knowledgeable and trustworthy company.

Several of these items were damaged in installation and had to be replaced. (not at my expense).The installing team and their manager werent discrete with their frustrations. My kids heard some things.My mailbox was run over by one of the KS vehicles but was also replaced w/ a new version of what was destroyed.Summary:The Fast/Cheap/Right (pick 2) adage is true, and my priorities are right and cheap.I spent time reading google reviews before I asked for a quote and I believe this situation is not the norm for KS.

These guys were awesome! We went with a new system and it was the best decision we could have possibly made! We love it! I heard about them listening to Leland Live on Talk 99.5 and decided to give them a call for an estimate after having called a few other companies.KS services had the best product and price by far. Thank you Zack for being a normal human being and not a used car salesman! He was not pushy or telling us what we needed to do. Once again, I am totally impressed with KS Services. I had a block in my home sewer system on Friday night and called KS services to get someone there on Saturday. Luke showed up at 9:30 AM and started trying to figure out where the blockage was. It was a strange case, and it took all day to determine that our sewer line was crushed just outside our house. Luke worked it one step at a time me and never got frustrated. Once he determined the problem (after digging a 4 foot deep pit behind our shrubs in the front yard) he got the necessary parts and made the repair, and got everything back to working order. He wrapped up at 7 PM with the same great attitude he arrived with. I am totally impressed with KC and will certainly contact them first for any plumbing or HVAC problems. Great job, Luke!! UPDATE: K S is still top-notch! We recently moved into a new home. We had to replace 2 water heaters after a deep freeze and a significant leak. After discussions late into the night by phone, Blake came as soon as the roads were safe to replace those. Then, we had to have an HVAC system replaced. Bryan and his team were really good. They got the work done, cleaned up after and were kind and professional. We couldn’t be more pleased.We have been with KS Services for years, yearly maintenance customers for at least 4 years. They are always prompt, professional, and do the job well. We recently had two separate leaks occur consecutively and they came out immediately. The room with the first leak had water soaked through the carpet. John helped us move all of the items, including heavy furniture, out right then, in order for the restoration company to come immediately to rip everything out. They charged us a more than fair price for both jobs. We are grateful to have them to call for basic service and emergency calls.

We had our unit start freezing up and they came out Saturday with out the weekend svc charge. Then onced he looked at out 22yr old unit he gave us all our options with no pressure on buying.Come to find out he was the owner, Blake and he took the time to sit with us. However we did by a new unit and they were here on Tuesday to put the new unit in. The guys that came out did a great job and cleaned up everything. Not only that but we had a tree fall in blocking the road and one of the guys took our chain saw to help cut it up so one of his guys could come by and give him some parts. They did not have to do that. They went above and beyond and that in my book is great customer service. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!

I was recommended to KS Services by my sister. All I can say is that this company and each person that I had contact with were unbelievable. Great service! I had a unit go out after only having it 5 or 6 years. One company came out and tried to convince me to buy a new unit for $8000 plus.....I had KS me a free secondary estimate. They provided me with a brand new and better unit of under $3000 installed. They took their time installing and testing to make sure everything was perfect. Not to mention that they were 1 hour early on install day which was great and John even called the next day to make sure that I was happy with everything.They even gave my friend a $100 credit for referring. Great company and they have my business for anything in the future.

I highly recommend KS! They came out to give me a tune up at 7pm and told me my compressor was bad in my A/C unit. I was quoted a great price on a new unit and they installed it the next morning! Very hassle free!
