Ben was a pleasure to work with. He thoroughly explained the HVAC products and the installation to maintenance process. The install occurred the next day and due to bad weather the installation could not be completed. Thankfully the team was able to have the AC portion working. The team returned a couple days later to complete the install. The company follows up in 30 days to address any problems and to inspect the system. It was great to deal with a company who employs staff that care about their product and delivery.

My AC went out unexpectedly at the start of the summer and I requested an appointment with AireServ for after-hours service. Jason and Jennifer preformed a thorough inspection and cleaning of our unit along with an explanation of what they were doing and the results backed up with photos.

We have used this company for 6 years for regular maintenance using their annual maintenance plan for on a 6 year old Trane 14 Seer system. Generally, I have been pleased with the routine maintenance service as far as them being on-time and professional. The technicians typically always recommend a preventative maintenance replacement that we do as well to maintain the system. We had a technician come about a month ago for the annual cleaning and maintenance and replaced a part at their recommendation for an additional $270.00. Our A/C went out unexpectedly this week. I called and was pleased to get a same day appointment with a window of 2-4 pm. I was told they would call 30 minutes prior to arrival. At 12:48pm two gentlemen arrived at my door. I was preparing for an important work call at 1pm and explained this. I told them what was going on and that I would show them where the unit was, but would have to take this call. A few minutes before my call I did not see them by the outside unit and found them in the van outside. The technician had already prepared a quote starting at $1800 stating we had no Freon, with a fee of around $460+ just to detect the leak. I am aware that no Freon typically indicates a leak, but was surprised to see them preparing this after not inspecting the inside unit and only after a few minutes. I told him he needed to call my husband and gave the number for him to call since I needed to be on a work call. 30 minutes later, he’s at my door collecting $80 for the trip charge (which I believe we get one free with our annual contract) but I was still on my call and wrote the check. At some point while he was there I mentioned I was surprised that this was happening because I just had the annual maintenance done. He advised me that “those guys aren’t really techs”. Coincidentally I had another company come today who immediately detected the leak from the inside unit as it was very obvious and did not require such a large charge to find the leak. I attempted to call Aireserve to explain my disappointment in this situation. I was told I would receive a call back from someone. Did not hear from anyone. Sadly, I do not trust this company and would recommend before committing to $$ service to get a second opinion before proceeding, especially if you have a fairly new and well maintained system.Update as of 9/2/21. We ended up using another company to repair a small leak outside of the coil for a fraction of the price that was originally quoted by air serve. Although the response from my original review stated they attempted to reach me, I did not receive any calls or emails from them. Last week, our AC went out again and I originally thought it was due to the leak not being repaired properly. However, when the technician from another company came out, we discovered that was not the issue. The outside unit was found to be in need of cleaning. This was very disappointing considering someone came in May from Aire Serve to “clean” the outside unit as part of the annual service contract. When the technician asked me to come out and look at it, we discovered it was very dirty and obviously this much would not occur if cleaning was done. The area around the outside of the unit is very clean and free of debris. It was evident that it was not cleaned during the routine maintenance that was allegedly performed back in May. It took the technician about an hour to clean it and we were back up and running. I truly hate to write bad reviews and I understand that there are occasions when some thing just doesn’t go right, but I feel compelled to let people know to be ware.
