I brought my two sons in age 11 and age 4 Yoryi did an amazing job! We will be returning in the future. His attention to detail and technique is flawless. They have a barber that is awful and people complained numerous times. Im talking BALD SPOTS, shaving too high, etc. And yet they only reply to the good reviews 🤔 Seems they dont care about their customers in hopes the good reviews of other barbers drown the bad barbers instead of actually retraining these barbers or replacing them

Usually a great experience, but this time I prepaid and included a tip. I also gave another$5 dollar tip at the time of service. I received a receipt for my prepayment. When I checked my account I was charged $10 dollars more than I prepaid. Called them 2 times. The first time they said that a manager would contact me. The second time they said they would refund the $10. No response. No refund.

Im 53 years old (with some street cred left,, I think) The best haircut I can remember. Kenny shows great attention to detail. Great vibe at this jam. Diverse, nice. In my opinion, completely reasonable price for this level of cut. And everyone there wears masks!

I visited the Binghamton studio yesterday for the first time and was impressed with the professionalism and quality. I got seated about 30 mins after my scheduled appointment but I wasnt in a rush and expected them to be busy after reopening this week. Ian was my barber and did a great job and Im very happy overall with the experience. I will definitely be a returning customer and may check out the Vestal location next just for a comparison. Price is a little higher than other local shops but I felt the extra time and effort was there so it was worthwhile.

Just left this place and I am FURIOUS. They were trusted to cut my fiancés hair before our big engagement party and it looks LIKE A HACK JOB !!! I wanted to love this place. I really did. TWICE my fiancé paid for what is supposed to be a premium haircut and instead he walked out with a sloppy fade. I even showed the barbar a picture of what he should look like and it still came out wrong. Thanks for ruining my fiancés hair a week before our event ! NEVER AGAIN.

Im in the midst of traveling and needed a haircut during my stay in Binghamton this weekend.Kenny hooked me up fat! Trim, fade, beard trim and lineup, plus a straight razor shave; all for $30! Kenny has incredible skills and precision. The barber shop is mellow, with good personalities to add to the feel.I highly recommend scheduling with Kenny. He goes the extra mile and has a great personality. A TON of skill with the clippers and straight razor.

I absolutely love coming here for haircuts, believe it or not I use this as an excuse to make the 3 hour drive to come here for Sara to cut my hair. My fade is always perfect when I leave and she some how manages to tame the awful cowlicks I have. There is also sometimes a puppy which is just an added bonus while you wait. Great atmosphere between the artwork, diffusers, and music choices. I cannot sing their praises enough.

Nice space with a relaxed atmosphere. The barber who cut my hair was late taking me but said it was due to an earlier customers tardiness so that may be a factor for your appointment. Appointments appeared to only be available online and I was charged a service fee for the only method of booking an appointment. Kenny was very skilled and seemed to care not only with how my haircut turned out, but also how my experience went. He kept me updated while I was waiting and offered to have the other barber there cut my hair if the wait got too long. Fair price. Quality cut.

In these times of COVID-19, I didnt want to sit there waiting for a chance to get my haircut in case building capacity was full, and to make anyone their comfortable with less people around. But instead, this consideration ended up being a negative - instead of waiting there and paying after receiving a haircut, I was charged $25, not a small amount for a college student.Even after bringing up these reasons, the manager didnt budge. Honestly, I was paying much more here to get a haircut than anywhere else. Best place I’ve been in, in Binghamton. I was nervous at first because I’m not from the area. Been in a few other chairs in different locations but this here is the place to be if you want your cut done right. I’m from the Brooklyn/queens area. They know what they are doing at dappers. UPDATE: After going here 5-6 times I still love the fades that Ive received and have not got a better one in this area. Only (and big) issue has been the punctuality. Ive waited 45 minutes to an hour past my scheduled appointment time at least 3 times here. In my opinion, if you make an appointment days in advance the barber should stick by it. Walk ins waiting an hour is expected but appointments? Honestly how can they get this far behind schedule to begin with? Isnt being on time like a BIG THING for barbers? 🤔 Thing is they werent even hustling to catch up. I left work an hour early for the last one of these appointments and the barber was so far behind that entire hour was spent waiting for them to start my appointment. I could have left work on time by time I finally got in the chair! Not only did I leave work early for nothing but I ended up being late to my sons birthday party by time it was finished. I went back for this final time even though they had been behind a few times because I figured they were a new business and still trying to figure their schedule out. But this last time they were running behind was the final straw. Still left a decent tip but havent been back since. Its now been about a year.$15 on a terrible-looking 5 minute mall/salon/Lemon Tree haircut or $25 on the best fade Ive ever got at Dapper Rascal. Ill pay the $25 every time. Will be back!

Newer shop in downtown Binghamton that did not disappoint. On my first trip I went with the Royal Rascal treatment which includes a cut, hot towels and a facial mask. Sara did a terrific job cutting my hair and was super friendly. Ill be going back.

Had decided to try this place for my husband as he has talked about having his beard professionally trimmed in the past. I had called and they said that depending on what he wanted his beard to look like it would be about 10-15$. So my husband went and he really liked the precision beard trim and shaping he got and was only charged the 10$ by the owner who did the service.Being very pleased with the services he then decided to book another appointment for the next month and brought his brother with him too. Only this time around he waited 1hr past his appointment time which was not a huge deal as it was very busy that day. Once he got back in the chair the owner was on her phone the whole time and did no where near the same caliber of work that she had done the month prior. To boot my husband was then charged 15$ with the only explanation being the prices are posted on the board. He then attempts to contact the establishment via email to voice his concerns which he did get a response to; but, still no explanation for the price discrepancy, they said they will talk to the stylist about being on the phone when that stylist was the owner, and then thanks for your feedback.

This is my first time going to an American Barber shop. I booked an appointment choosing any available barber. I was wondering which barber would cut my hair regarding the barbers put online. I finally get seated by a guy named Nick who seemed nervous because I had a lot of hair and I told him sorry I have alot of hair. He asked how I want my haircut and I said a fade haircut. I was unsure of the number of inches cut on the side and top and I assumed he would start cutting little by little to make sure if this is ok. I was mistaken by the number I told him and he was confused. Usually a Barber would cut my hair little by little and ask if this is ok or do you want it shorter. But NO this Barber just SHAVED the top of hair off only remaining a few inches. I like to keep my hair long on top but the Barber just assumed I didnt and SHAVED IT OFF. I immediately told him I did not want the top of my hair shaved off. I have never seen a Barber use an electric clipper to start on the top of the head. I only seen and experienced a barber starting on the sides of the hair with an electric clipper then scissors on the top of the hair and cutting little by little but this was not the case. The Barber said I was supposed to tell him to use scissors in the beginning of the haircut. I would have told him to use scissors before he shaved most of it OFF. Once the hair is gone, it is gone and there is nothing I could do about it. This Barber should have started cutting little by little before taking it all off. He knew I did not like it and other customers and employees were staring at my hair too knowing that I was extremely upset. I was not looking or feeling the best but rather looking and feeling the worst.
