THIS COMPANY IS UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT!! It is NOT the old yellow cab that had all of the negative reviews. Mike is the owner now, and he has made this my favorite taxi company in Binghamton. Always right on time (I recommend calling ahead for a scheduled pickup. A courtesy that makes it easy on everyone) Always cool and cordial. If youve used them in the past with had results, I recommend giving them another try.
Mikes Taxi took over Yellow Taxis phone and auspices. Their major issue is that wait time could be as good as or better than their competitors who have a larger fleet. Definitely worth checking with them for your next trip.
Excuse me, Yellow cab has a new owner & the 2 stars are OLD REVIEWS. I needed a cab to the airport & UBER said no can do. Forget Safe Cab, unprofessional & wanted $40! Wldnt even offer less, hung up on me. The other cab companies were busy, do I called Yellow.They showed up in 10 mins., & Gary was v cool. So, give them a chance, yeah?? You wont regret it.
I called Yellow cab for a ride on Thursday and was picked up at greater golf in Endicott New York.After arriving at my destination I got out of the vehicle and noticed that some money had fallen out of my pocket.As I walked back to the taxi to retrieve it I noticed the driver reaching down the behind him and tskihg the money I left. Now Owned by Mikes Taxi was a fantastic first experience for me. I dont usually use taxis but needed one in a pinch and they were fast courteous and extremely friendly from Start to Finish. Dispatcher was very professional and honest about the wait time which was not bad and the driver helped pass the time. before I knew it I was where I needed to be. Awesome experience and will tell anyone who asks to use Mikes Taxi.

Cab drivers are nice, Friendly and courteous, Dispatch is another story.States cab will be their in less then 20; 40 minutes later still nothing. Then call them to cancel due to another ride then becomes disrespectful.Never deal with again!!!5 Stars for the cab drivers 0 stars for dispatch!!
RIP Yellow Cab. You may have taken forever to pick me up sometimes but your drivers were very good people and for the most part it was a pleasure riding with you. To anyone at yellow cab that sees this: good luck with your next venture and thank you for your community service.
I trusted this cab company. Spent a lot of money going places I needed to go including work on a daily basis. We even tipped the drivers decently. Then they decided to charge me $50 for a ride that I was normally charged $25 for. Even called the cab company to see the break down of it and he yelled and was very rude . Not ever again. Called Courtesy cab and they will charge $22 for the same ride. Done with yellow cab. Very rude on the phone, they dont listen, and make up rates as they go along.
Yellow Cab of Binghamton is:1. Unreliable: They didnt show up to a schedule pick up and I waited over 1 hour.2. Poor Customer Service: I called to inquire about the late cab and I was abruptly told They will be there and then hung up on. When I called several hours later to simply voice my complaint regarding their no show scheduled cab service, the rep was very rude and nasty and hung up on me.If you enjoy drama, this is the cab company for you.If you prefer to prevent/avoid drama, you should stay away from Yellow Cab of Binghamton.
Can I rate 0 stars? This is the first time I ever decide to spend the time to write a bad review. I called them at 7:47 am. The guy told me to wait about 20 minutes. I call him at 8:15 am to ask him how much longer I have to wait. Without even taking the time look anything up, he tells me he will be there in 15 minutes. Unhappy with his answer, I call again to make sure he has the right address. When I ask him, he asks ME my address. I tell him to look it up through my name, and he gives me a completely different address than the one I told him the first time I called. I corrected him and was once again told the taxi will be there shortly. Still waiting, 15 minutes later.
Called to arrange a ride to the airport. Phone rang around 10 times before anyone picked up. The dispatcher that took the call was rude. When the ride arrived the van sounded like it was about ready to die. Rough sounding engine needing major maintenance help. The inside of the van was filthy. The driver was nice and apologized for the dispatcher and the condition of the vehicle. Would not recommend.
My girlfriend just got back from work and told me her cab driver reeked of booze, had booze on him and relentlessly made comments like she must look good naked and he would like to take her behind the store and f*** her. She had to sit threw this disgusting behavior to get to work and couldnt believe the guy wouldnt stop. I will be reporting this to not just better business bureau but authorities.

I ordered a cab for work, the cab took more than scheduled timing of 20m by going to the wrong address and stating she was outside, then when I called back to the dispatch and tried to explain that the car was not at my address, the dispatch was rude and cursing at me and hung up on me. I then called back to speak to the supervisor and he was also rude denied what his dispatch stated, like he was there and if he was he still lied and said she didnt curse, but hopefully they record so he can correct his own action then was rude and also hung up the phone while not taking me the customer into consideration. Lucky thing for me conversation was recorded. Also when taking Medicaid cabs through this company there is a significant fare increase, for example a normal 7 dollar fare is changed to double the amount if its a Medicaid cab. Maybe this should be investigated by Medicaid fraud!!! If the supervisor has no Manners or any skill to defuse a situation with a customer who is upset at the provider of service for doing wrong, then how will the rest of the company provide excellent customer service? To each is own, use this company at your own risk!!!
Worst taxi service on the planet don’t call these people. They just don’t care about anything. They are the most unprofessional people I’ve ever had service from. And to be perfectly honest I’ve never written any type of review before. But this cab service is really just flat out horrible. I don’t want you to suffer like I did. Plus the drivers sexually harassed my sisters. And when my sister tried to tell him to leave her alone he locked the doors and kept driving. She then told him to stop so she could just get out the car and he just kept going. That’s how cab drivers get killed.

Absolutely the worse can company around. Alot of the drivers are nice people. 20$ for a 3.6 mile drop off. I used a taxi once 2 years ago to go from bcc to the mall and that cost 8$. This company will be getting closed down very shortly. Little more professional this time around but the fairs are def pumped up.
The stars are for the drivers, the dispatcher on the other hand is the most unprofessional, and disrespectful young lady Ive ever encountered. I get it, its 4 in the morning, its not easy but if you cant deal then find something else to do.But really its not your fault.. its mine, I shouldve fired you after the first call.But dont worry I wont call again.
Sometimes you have to wait because they really are busy.Most reliable. Fair fares! Most rides are $10-$15. They only charge when you get in, not to come get you. Forget those other little cab companies that want $20 to go from Endicott to JC.
DONT EVER USE THIS TAXI COMPANY!!! WORST EVER!!!! Use one of the other companies! My daughter called an hour before she needed to get to the bus station from Binghamton campus, they were 30 minutes late which left her 7 minutes to get from campus to the bus station. She ended up missing her bus. I called the dispatcher to complain and he hung up on me!!!!!! The Better Business Bureau is my next stop!

There are the worst ever called for a cab guy showed up an drive away. Watched it on my cameras. Called them back an got hung up 3 different times.. deff. Will be making a compliant.. all 3 people that I spoke with were very rude and unprofessional. Dont use yellow cab very disrespectful
My entire house was just woken up by some idiot driving one of these cabs after he sat next door repeatedly honking for over 20 minutes. I finally went outside and screamed at him in a half asleep/ half awoken daze and he said sorry... then a few minutes later he drove away while honking some more just for good measure. Its F-ing midnight. We have kids. Thanks a lot @$$hat.Edit* No one ever got out of the cab, or ever came outside from the house he was parked at. He just sat there honking for 20 minutes for no reason.
Called them at 10am for a 3pm pickup to head to the airport. At 2:50pm I called to confirm they would be there at 3pm, I was told yes. I called again at 3:10pm asking for an ETA, was told the driver is 5 minutes away. At 3:20pm I gave up and had someone else take off work early to take me to the airport so I would not miss my flight. No call from Yellow Cab saying they are running late, plus no call apologizing for not showing up. Customer no service at it best. Ill never call this company again!

Driver showed up hours early to an appointment, slammed on the horn, and drove off. Had earlier complained to dispatch about a different appointment. Feel unsafe with this company having access to my address at all.

I left one star because they dont give the option of zero stars. The dispatcher literally verbally abused me. I waited 1 hour 20 minutes to be picked up, in pain from recent knee surgery. The dispatcher actually threatened to cancel my pickup altogether. I didnt know if I was stranded or what. The vans are filthy and rattletrap, feel like they are going to fall apart at any second. Not a good company, and would never use them again. Although, I will be honest and say the drivers were nice people, and the supervisor seemed apologetic when I complained. But overall, not a good experience.
I would give them less if I could have. Waited over 40 minutes when they stated 15 minutes. Never showed up. You suck yellow cab. You suck!
The customer service over the phone was not the greatest however the gentleman that came was very nice and respectul and got me to my destination in good timing.

Unsafe driver - nearly got side swiped coming into work this morning. A little tip for the belligerent person who answered the phone - dont put hows my driving bumper stickers on your vehicles if you honestly dont care about other drivers safety.

As well as being utterly ridiculous with prices, (for example $30 for a 7/8 mile trip), this taxi service includes possibly the dumbest F-ing Broad Ive ever heard on a phone. The things I would say about this womans stupidity if Google reviews wouldnt ban me. Not only did she continuously ask what town I was in and get it wrong multiple times after I had already said it, she started to do some sort of logic in her head that made her believe that I would want a taxi to the end of my road, which is next to my house. The service was terrible on the phone and I can only imagine how terrible they would be on the road.

Dont bother. They never have any cabs available and getting a hold of the dispatcher is a chore.
