We had a shed delivered and were told wed have to take out half our tree. Paul from Yellowstone Valley Tree came out and trimmed, then guarded it like it was his own while shed got placed, trimming minimal to save our tree.

We called Yellowstone Valley Tree Surgeons back in December 2020 to look at our trees because they were browning on the tops. We got a call saying they were coming out the first week of May and we asked if they could come out the week after instead as we were to be gone on vacation. We wanted to be there to walk around with them but they said they had to come out while we were gone. They said the price would be at most $275. When we returned home we had a bill for $560 for spraying 8 trees for pine bark beetle and a recommendation for another $350 to spray another chemical for the brown tops (tip blight) which is what we asked for initially. We didnt even ask them to spray for the pine beetles and now they expect us to pay $560 for a service we didnt ask for and they didnt even treat the real issue we called about. When we told them we didnt think we should pay for their mistake, they said they were going to come out and spray something else on our already stressed trees and scrub them down to take off the pine beetle chemicals....really!?!In addition, my neighbor told me that they called YVTS out to look at and treat a tree of theirs that was not looking well. YVTS gave an estimate of $600 to come out and look at it and all they did was take 10 minutes to chop the top out of the tree. No chemicals...nothing else! What a bunch of unprofessional scammers!! Unless you enjoy just giving money away, DO NOT USE these guys!!

Awesome turn around time. Our tree really needed attention and they were quick to spray it for us. Plus, Tom really knows his stuff! Great knowledge of trees, could talk with him all day about it!

I basically chopped the whole tree down by myself but they still charged 800 dollars for removing it? Very expensive but they get the job done I guess

Was quoted on the phone $225/hr to chip brush. Job took 2.5 hours. When we received the invoice they charged a total of $900. Charged us for travel time and dumping time which was never discussed on phone. Get a written estimate before working with them.
