This is where I go for s.n.a.p assistance.very helpful good women that work here
Speedy and professional. They handled my case with ease.
They helped me get my feet planted. They were all kind. This was three years ago. With their help? Three years later, I am up and roaring without themThank you
Not much goin on here right now. Better on line.
I have had to schedule several call backs because they don’t call you when they say they will. I have a job and I work all the hours they are open so I can’t go to the office. I have to do it over the phone. I pick times that work for me so I will be able to answer the phone. What is the point of calling me outside of the time I asked to be called? I asked to be called in this instance at 1 P.M. since my lunch break is always at 1 P.M., I even confirmed I would be able to take my lunch at 1 P.M. SPECIFICALLY to be able to answer this phone call so tell me WHY they called me at 10 A.M. when I was AT WORK. If I could give ‘zero stars’ I would. The amount of paperwork and proof I have to provide just for this only for you guys to not call me on the time I had to schedule with you? Absurd.
They were quick to fix a problem I had, and excellent customer service.
Schedule for phone interview is too far out.. I came from salt lake City Utah and the population is 2 million, yet they manage to do the interview right there and then. The wait time to talk is always within 30 minutes and is completed within another 30 minutes. The card is mailed the next day and received, ready to go, in 5 business days. Why cant you??
Hotter DONE,DOING it FINALY
Couldnt even get on the site
Timely service, made me feel important not needy or small thanks for your Kindness. In a stressful time. Blessings Dennis T
They always like to help you
Kept waiting on hold for THREE HOURS !!! The option 9 was not working first several times I selected option 9 it just resumed playing music ...then the next several times it did not recognize my number so I sat on hold for 3hours while they repeatedly played music interspersed with were sorry............Office of public assistance ???? Completely disgusting and no excuses for such treatment !!!!Pull your fingers out of your asses and actually be of public assistance firstly by improving your system seriously I have been in third world countries that are more organized and efficient than this !!!!
Friendly staff just wish they were open to the public atthe moment to help my mother inlaw
I like them. Very nice professional people answering phones
Not a place l, LIKE to go to, with that in mind. The people at the desk are quite helpful.Usually 1 visit to them or a case work gets whatever resolved.
I took my elderly friend down today to get a few things straightened out for him. We were fortunately blessed to get Mirian O., to help us out. She was not only helpful to the utmost degree, but she was also very pleasant,(personally & visually), in every sense of the word. I know its not the common experience for most, but Im extremely grateful to have met her and had her assistance with my friends dealings. Thank you, thank you.
It was nearly empty and it all went pretty fast. It was clean and the staff were all very polite.
I was shocked to be in and out of this place and treated so pleasantly. Best government building experience Ive ever had.
Getting assistance with some of the noceist people. The truely are very helpful and always answer all my qustions
The customer service is wonderful. And also the reps in great falls are also very kind and do their job wonderfully, at least this one lady that I just spoke to. Thanks again
Multiple efforts to apply and no one was available. Waited two hours with toddlers and infants in tow. Did the same thing later. Same thing happened. Had to end up just leaving. I don’t know how else to apply
Busy, busy, busy, but when you need assistance like social security disability and other needs these people are very helpful and they dont judge you. They look over worked but the place is nice and clean.
Its a bit slow and was unavailable to do what I needed to be done because of it being a Wednesday which makes it difficult for me. Otherwise, the staff is friendly and helpful
Kind, courteous and respectful case workers, that made me at ease.
Ill be glad when things open up again
Friendly staff and they handled my case relatively fast.
I have had a great experience with them so far. To me nothing is 5 star because nobody is perfect. With being an emancipated minor and having to go through so many things it has not been very hard to get help and to get things in a timely manner. I have always received my benefits and have been helped within ten minutes after my call was answered when calling the help line. Only thing that sucks is when there is a wait for the helpline, which is not their fault. Definitely call when they open if you dont want to wait awhile.
I get it, There are only a certain few handling thousands of cases a day. This can be very frustrating. Especially trying to explain to families that ARE in need that they must jump through many red hoops just to get aid. I also get it that everyone should be able to step away for lunch. (Does it have to be all at the same time?) I get that you have a job and you dont create policy but are supposed to enforce it. But here is what I dont get. Keep the understanding that there are people out there who are NOT trying to play the system but simply get help. They cant make ends meet even while trying to work. In order to work, some must pay anywhere from 875.00 to 1000.00 per child per month for childcare. So when you threaten to cut their grant because of something that can be fixed by those using the system for what it is supposed to be used for, It should not then take several days for the person to try to get a hold of a caseworker there. I am on my first day of another week trying to get a hold of someone. I have a job that I need every hour of in order to help raise the children, I cant afford to take the day off to wait in a room the entire day. I am here with Bronchitis and struggling to breathe because I need help. But what is sad is the children will be the ones punished because the office doesnt have enough staff to answer the phones to get resolutions to cases that for them are no problem closing. We are then accused of not contacting the office to provide a resolution. If I were to improve something it would be to hire a few (maybe 3 or 4) people who are there simply to handle the call-in line as this seems to be an issue. People who are handling the cattle chutes (that is what it feels like to have three walls lined with cubicles) and the two receptionists in the front doing their best to wade through all of the calls and people standing in front of them. By the way, as of the writing of this review, I am two hours into my hold time (and in an hour everyone will stand up and go to lunch) on the sixth day of trying to get a hold of someone. Good thing I brought my phone charger to work with me! .... Added.... I am still at hold. From 8:30AM this morning and it is now 2pm... where is my place in line that they keep saying I wont lose?! Even stayed on hold while everyone went to lunch so that I didnt lose it.
Fairly fast and friendly. Would have gave a 5 but they keeping loosing parts of my paper work.
Helpful, and the lady behind the front d so was really helpful
Place is always packed and they seem to not know proper info on cases.
Lack of....well most things that make a person not feel like theyre being humiliated and stripped of any remaining dignity... When you DO get to a real person, sure theyre mostly nice, but more seemingly detachedly amused(bemused perhaps, or both?) with whats sitting in front of them this time...
It is well run. Less wait time than earlier years. A worker took the time to entertain my grandchild while I was conducting business
I got thru quick only to end up losing my medicaid because of a SSDI 12$ raise. All in all, they were nice and I left without being angry
Remodel is lovely and the staff are polite but it doesnt make up for the ineptitude of this office. I applied and qualified for assistance late mid September of 2018. Then I was required to complete the simplified report in October 2018~ done. Then I was required to complete a recertification packet in November 2018~done. Pay verification: both faxed (October 10, 2018) and entered in person at the front desk in their office (December 6, 2018). You would think that complying with the requirements would mean your ok...nope. Later in December a letter of assistance termination appears stating I will no long receive snap or medical insurance. All of January is quite. Then February comes about and suddenly theyre saying I now owe them money for the snap benefits and health premiums for the two months after they dropped me! Wth?!
I applied 2 months ago for Medicaid and food stamps. I got a call a week later to call them back to do an over the phone interview. I have called 5 times these past 2 months. All of which I have never gotten to talk to someone and when I press the option for a call back, I’ve either not received one or it takes 3/4 days to get one back. When I have gotten a call from them I’ve been at work. I get that the phones are a bit crazy sometimes but I really wish I could talk to someone the FIRST time I call.
The lady who helped me was amazing! Explained everything thoroughly for me
You wait an extremely long time but, the employees are helpful and well trained, and surprisingly welcoming considering the job they are required to do.
Friendly and helpful!
The employees are helpful andFriendly.
I sure wish we had obama back. people were so much more Humane and caring.
Was treated with respect and were very helpful and none judgemental. Had very good experience.
I have not received my familys 1095 for prof of health insurance, called 5 times sat on hold for over an hour and a half, tried leaving a call back number and never got a call back. Thanks so now I either pay a penalty and file my taxes or wait on this form to show up which I dont see happening cause I normally have it by now.
Here at Public Assistance youre able to get help with Medicaid & Food Stamps.
Tried to call the office and no one answered. My mom called 2 weeks ago and requested a call back but never got one. Regarding to my food stamps. Havent had them for OVER 2 MONTHS. This is ridiculous
They are nice and understanding about people being down on their luck
Quick service, and surprisingly friendly workers.
I dont recall visiting but its always a nice place
Very helpful place
Very helpful in getting me into Medicaid and on snap
Some times there fast but most times slow, not all are friendly but some are. Sorry wish I could be more helpful
Some times the line is long. So bring a game or a book to read
The remodel is great and the staff are very friendly and helpful:)
Wont ever forget how badly I was treated by Robert
Long wait but good n friendly workers
I didnt have to wait.
Great service from many caring individuals !!
Quick turnaround and very helpful.
Finally updated their system. Alot faster now
Very helpful staff & very giving.
Omg if they would of kept the other offices open it wouldnt take a whole day to apply for food stamps. I am very bad computer s and never owned one and still dont.. why? Cause fundings all over state for many different things has been cut by our government. Over past few years Ive seen programs that have helped my kids and me all just get dropped.
Everyone treated me with such friendly attitude being from texas i was helped out very well
For what they do they do their best.
Very crabby workers and slow service. Will not be going back unless I have to.
They have been so busy
The guy at the front desk was super help full and worked my case right then thank you guy
Theyre very helpful for those in need
Not enough time to wait in line for someone. They go on breaks when there is a long line of people waiting....
Nice
People that work there are willing to help you
Far out man
Couldnt agree more with the other posted comment from TWO years ago! Things havent changed. I dont think Ive ever spoke to my case worker- Ive always been sent to voicemail! I dont get calls back until I make multiple calls and i dont get a call back for weeks at that! I am constantly frustrated with the office of public assistance.
Been on the phone for 3 hours just to talk to someone this is ridiculous.
Horrible! Stand in line forever! The worker was nice thou.
Ever since Ive moved away from that area it is no longer a pain to sit and wait on those people, anymore
Have tried to get information from the minute I received my letter only to be put to voice mail and be ignored. The people see rude and like you are wasting their time...Im sorry, but if you dont like helping people, WHY work in the office of PUBLIC ASSISTANCE??
Fast service and helpful
People complain about them, but even though I had to do some leg work getting to the right places i was happy with them.
Supper good
Wait time is insane. I cant occupy my 4 year old for 3hrs while I wait to be seen.
Great staff and want to help
Pretty helpful and courteous staff
Lady was great
Quick and very nice staff
Very fast!
Good place for resorces
Great friendly service
Some staff need training in social work or need to find new jobs if they dont like it instead of making the public feel like a burden
Wait time is very long but got the help I needed
Overworked, but everyone went to lunch at the very same time leaving no one to try to help the people in a full waiting room.
Very helpful people
Quick and efficient
Long wait but worth it
Long waits, they dont always make sure your paperwork is sent in correctly.Causing you to have to redo it and wait longer.
Thank you for your help
People were helpful
Very helpful and efficient
Loop Dee loop
Long wait
Needs more workers long wait
