The man filing and building my nails did amazing and he was polite and he did a wonderful job but the lady who had painted them acted a little cranky and had quite a bit of attitude . But the service is okay but before you go there you should probably prep your nails because they dont really .

I went with my beastie to get out nails done!!! We showed up late, and THEY STILL DID OUR BAILS!! Went waaaay past closing just to accommodate us!!! They did an amazing job!! Will return as soon as I need a fill!!!

Very good quality and nail work with a fair price. Only thing I didn’t like is how commanding and borderline rude they were to us, not sure if it’s because how busy it was or how much the phone was ringing, leaving them overwhelmed?? In my opinion they could’ve been more polite.

I have a picture on my phone of how I wanted my nails done exactly and tri did them how she thought it would look better instead so I am only giving three stars. I think I will go elsewhere in the future if I get acrylic nails again

I left before getting polish because of how short she trimmed my toenails. I will have ingrown toenails for at least a month now. After explaining why I was leaving without polish she still charged me $36....Edit: after reading through the other reviews I noticed they often answer bad reviews with a response like “you must have the wrong salon we didn’t see you in here”. This absolutely was Golden Nails located at 2101 Grand Avenue in Billings Montana.

I have been going to golden nails for months, they have never “forgotten” to do a top coat or have “bugs” in their bathroom! Some people are so nasty! This place is amazing, hands down! They have always treated me like family, very friendly and always have smiles! 😉

Menu says shellac is $30. When I checked out I was charged $80 for two shellac manicures. I asked about this discrepancy and they told me that a manicure is $20 and the shellac is $20 more. The menu clearly says regular manicure $20 and shellac manicure $30. Deceptive pricing and a deceptive business model. Doesn’t help when my nail tech rushed through my manicure, didn’t trim my cuticles, and didn’t shape my nails. The total for me and my sister (both did basic shellac) was $80. The most they would do is refund me $10 when I was overcharged $20 and didn’t receive the services I (over) paid for. Won’t be returning!

My spa pedicure was fantastic. Nice clean area. Good conversation with the nail tech. Fabulous hot stone massage. I was very pampered.

Quality of the pedicure and manicure were great. I was charged way more than I expected. When I looked at my receipt they charged me for the most expensive pedicure when I scheduled for a basic one. We will not be back. I did receive an apology but no offer of refund.

I was a walk-in and Molly got me right in, did exactly what I asked and did a wonderful job with the design and coffin shape! All the product they use is cheap, they left me and my friend leaving with wet nails, my friend had to do her own clear coat because they forgot, and the lady was rude, also while I was in the bathroom there was no mirror and the floors were gross, while I was using the bathroom a cockroach jumped out from behind the toilet. I was disgusted, I also had an argument with the lady because she wanted to overcharge me for a simple set.

Golden Nails is the best place in Billings to have your nails done or pedicures. The entire staff is friendly and accommodating. I am ALWAYS able to get in quickly for an appointment. Thuy does the most beautiful nails and best quality that I have found in Billings. I am tough on my nails and her nails hold up well...I can go four weeks without a fill and they dont break or lift. Plus, she is super fast!! Golden Nails can do any kind of nail art or designs that youd like. Ive never been disappointed! I wont go anywhere else to have my nails done.

I have been going to Golden Nails for my nails and Tweet is fantastic! You may have to wait a bit for your appointment, but it’s worth it. I am always pleased with her work. She lets me decide the color and even started over when I decided I didn’t like it after it was applied. Her pricing is also very affordable. I highly recommend her.

I have been going to Golden Nails for 5 years now! Thuy does my nails and she is always precise and the quality is professional. I have never been disappointed by my nails. I always love them.

My nails look nice but not what I asked for. I asked for short white nails with a hint of pink on the top cuticle line.. and I got almost all pink nails. Won’t be going back there. Plus on top of it.. they told me it would be 45 and charged me 60!!! For the pink that they didn’t tell me about!!! Urrgggg. And before getting there my appointment was at 1:30 and they squeezed a walk in before my appointment that I made that wanted her nails painted... so I was late for my second appointment.

I have been going here for over 3 years. Thuy is amazing and does the best nails in town! If I have ever had an issue ( which is very very rare) she has always gone the extra mile to make it right! I highly recommend them!!

My 86 year old mother and I came here on a recommendation from a friend. They fit us in with a last minute appointment at the end of their day. They did a decent job on our nails. My favorite part of this experience is that the young man that was doing my mother’s nails was so very kind to her. He made her laugh and did a great job on her nails. I think his name was Johnny.

Amazing talent and the best in Billings, hands down! Thuyh and Kristen are fabulous at what they do and are so kindhearted and courteous to my daughters and I when we stop by.

Went in and asked how long it would be and they told me to come back in an hour so I did. I came back and they were helping other people before me and i simply asked how long it would be before it was my turn and the lady was extremely rude and kept telling me to sit down and just be patient. I was trying To explain that I had other things planned later In the day so I needed to know when my turn would be and she continued to give me rude responses about how I needed to stop bothering her and be patient. I left and will not go back. I do not recommend going here.

Lady who did my nails did not get it through her head what I actually wanted and did her own thing. Plus, she drilled on each nail so bad that they were sooooo sensitive for the longest time...they are still not growing the same after 3 years now...paid $50. I was so disappointed. I do admit she was very fast and tried to make you feel welcomed.Wont be going back again.

Was able to get a last minute appointment with my sisters but was not overly impressed with their service, or the quality of their work. They had a very difficult time understanding what colors we chose and seemed to just give us what they liked, not what we wanted.

Terrible experience. My nails were thinner than my patience trying to tell them that that wasn’t the color I wanted. Prices were higher than my phone bill and the quality was terrible. I’ll never go back. When I asked for at least a refund when 4 or my nails broke off the DAY after I was told it was my fault when they literally fell off while I was petting my cat. Unacceptable

I had microblading done and the person who did I was not happy with. I was in so much in pain and had felt like I was in a torch chamber and to make things worse she did not do my eyebrows the way I want them. I was going to have her resolve them but I decided it was not worth going through all that pain again. Then I found Golden Nails Salon. I called them and explained what happened. This nice lady told me to come and she would make sure that I would not feel any pain while she is micro blading. I was a little sceptical at first but Twee was right and she did my eyebrow the way I wanted them. I am so happy I went to see Twee and her pieces are reasonable!Thank you Twee for an incredible job. I usually come here for all my nail services. My friend is in town so I decided to bring her with me to get pedicures together, first off we had appointments and were early. By the time we got our colors picked out and sat down it was about 5 minutes after the appointment time, they didnt have two people to do us both so Thuy started to do mine, while we were waiting for the other nail tech to get done with another customer and come do my friends pedicure, my friend needed to get up and use the bathroom, Thuy rudely told my friend to put her wet feet back into her shoes witch were ugg boots and why would you put wet feet into those? Instead my friend put on the salon flip flops and Thuy had another smart remark that she wouldnt be able to walk to and from the bathroom without breaking the flip flops, obviously my friend came back and the flip flops were in one piece. It was just unnecessary rudeness. Then we go ahead and get our pedicures done witch I must add were the worst pedicures we have ever had and the most expensive, there was still a lot of dry skin on both of our feet. Then we asked if they could clip our finger nails and put some clear polish on them. They said that would be fine. Thuy told me it would be $5 for the fingernails, then went ahead to be rude and tell my friend hers would be $7 cos her nails were different keep in mind that we both had natural nails, no polish, and they were the same length so how in the world is that different? Just an all together bad experience, and waste of time and money. Never coming here again, Ill take my time and money else where thanks !

So after a very long week and been doing nothing but laying in bed resting up after my brain surgery.My gf decided to take me to get my nails done. Unfortunately my usual nail girl was out of town so I had to go somewhere new. Yesterday I called to make an appointment. I specifically told the girl on the phone that I wanted nail art done. She said that would be fine..just let the nail tech know. Upon arriving my gf and I stated we did not want a pedicure but just a polish change..they insisted on questioning us on why we didnt want pedicures. I told them due to health concerns and horror stories Ive read..I dont get pedicures at places that dont use disposable plastic liners. The nail tech insisted on questioning me on that tidbit to let me know that I was wrong..she stated she had been in the business 9 yrs and never heard of it. When I asked about some nail art..even tho he had been in the business 9 yrs..she didnt know how to do nail art. I Mentioned that I had seen lots of pics of nail art on their fb...she stated that the owner had done those but the owner was pregnant and could no longer do nail art. She assured me that there would be somebody that could do the nail art I wanted. So she passes me over to a guy who could not do a nail art....big surprise! He sends me to a lady who is already doing someones nail and About that time the owner comes in and she told her to do my nail art. So I asked her if she can do my toes as well as my fingers because the people before told me she couldnt bend over to do toes. She becomes really rude and angry. There was 6 nail technicians and I left w no nail art. Also while I was there this lady came in to have some work done on her toes and she wanted a certain nail technician... She had made an appointment yesterday and they told her her nail technician would be there. Come to find out that nail technician is off for the winter so they knew darn good and well that he was not going to be there but made the appointment anyway. Also the first nail technician told me how clean they were and how they cleaned out every station after use and that it was regulated by the state.... Interesting enough, they sat the lady down to get a pedicure where they had done my friends toe nails and had never cleaned the station. I will be reporting this to the state. While we were there...they had triple booked some of the technicians so when I left there was was a girl that had a a scheduled appointment at 1:00 and she was still sitting there waiting at 20 after 1 My gf did get nail art on her toes but not on her fingers. I will never be back to Golden Nails Salon in Billings MT

They screwed my nails up and asked if they could fix it and said it was my problem how rude. Last time i go to someone who barley speaks English

Went in on a Tuesday afternoon and asked if they had time for a full set the lady laughed and said not today. There was one customer in there. Sign says walk ins welcome. I will not be returning to this place again. Rude.
